We only stayed the 1 night and I have to say that I was impressed with the room, it was a large spacious room with nice crisp clean bedding.

The bathroom was a good size too and a nice power shower is always a great start to the day.

Iron, safe and trouser press plus tea/coffee. Good size tv

The breakfast is def worth the money with a great selection on both continental and English

Myself & the Hubby Stayed here on Saturday 2nd june'18 as part of a Mystery Weekend away with National holidays. From the minute we arrived on the Saturday afternoon, all the staff were fantastic & so friendly. Our room was on the top floor which was huge. We had a lovely double bed, triple wardrobes, sofa, armchair, coffee table plus flat screen TV etc. Room was lovely & clean. Our evening meal was 3 courses & the choices were lovely, then even tweaked things for the fussy eating hubby. All the restaurant staff were fantastic, so polite & friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was just as lovely & we were well looked after by the staff. Special mention to the two ladies who worked on reception that night & getting our room changed swiftly after problems with bad behaviour in room next door to us. These receptionists along with all the other staff are a real credit to the hotel. Highly recommend. Hope we get chance to stay again in future. Thanks again x

Lovely hotel just got home from there! Lovely, friendly staff. Easy hotel to find large car park, bar & restaurant are lovely. We love the swimming pool, spa, steam & sauna haven’t used the gym but it looks fab! Situated right next to Telford FC game there on Saturday but hardly any noise. Dominoes pizza next door, Chinese, kebabs & corner shop just opposite hotel. Also 5 minute drive your in the Wrekin shopping complex. We love it there and will definitely be staying here again.

I have stayed at this hotel in 2016 for a long period of time with my family due to a water leak at home and the staff were amazing especially Sally, Terry, Martin and Tina who made us feel very welcome.. Last week we returned with family from Newzeland who stayed for a week. My mum is disabled and on oxygen and they were amazing with her getting her the things she needed to make her stay comfortable. Can not remember the ladies name who helped but she is in charge of house keeping.

There is one member of staff Terry Francis who went above and beyond he is a fantastic member of staff who you should be very proud of to have working with you.

We had a surprise party in the dug out and my family really enjoyed the night.

Thank you

Firstly I would like to say a big thankyou to the staff who looked after us when our baby got poorly and taken to hospital (Friday 14th July). They were extremely accommodating and friendly.

Secondly the room was lovely! Very clean, spacious and the shower was amazing! Unfortunately for us we didn't get to enjoy the full use of hotel facilities (which looked so nice) as were tag teaming to the local hospital. But we will be staying here again when we come back this direction .

Alex and her team at the Telford Whitehouse Hotel could not have been more accommodating for my group of 54 guests this weekend. When I explained that I was hosting a Fundraiser Ball in Shrewsbury and needed to find somewhere affordable for my guests who were travelling from across the UK, Europe and USA she was absolutely incredible in finding a solution for us!

The Rooms were so spacious with top quality fittings plus very comfortable beds! The swimming pool and spa facilities open to our guests were definitely an added bonus on Sunday morning following the ball and a rare facility to find at such affordable prices in Shropshire. Situated walking distance from Wellington train station was fantastic and allowed our guests easy access to the accommodation. With many people coming from flights 24hrs of the day, the 24hr check-in was brilliant and really helped the entire experience be stress free. The 24hr bar was fab and the restaurant for breakfast overlooking the football pitch was awesome.

From the minute I first enquired to us leaving the hotel, I couldn't recommend the Telford Whitehouse Hotel more highly. The staff were all so friendly and to find such helpful people with such a large group booking with no pressurisation on payments and a genuine interest in our fundraising really is second to none.

Thank you!

Where do I start? After check in I found my room. A very clean and spacious room. Housekeeping were excellent at every point. The food was pretty bloody good, with only the lamb kebab being a bit bland. The breakfast choice was excellent. Front of house staff were ok and the restaurant staff's performance varied from brilliant to distant. Overall a great hotel, a bit hit and miss with the staff (nothing to do with age I might add) but the wifi was very poor. 4/5.

We stayed from Friday until Sunday so I could attend a book signing event. The hotel is nice, clean & friendly staff, welcoming. Our room was nice & big. Bathroom nice all clean & tidy. Bed was uncomfortable & hubby got lots of bits after sitting on the bed for half an hour. Other than this our stay was nice.

User

Great value and friendly staff. Restaurant manager very hard working and professional. Other guests were really kind to our children, two couples, Ian and Lynne and another couple (we didn’t get their names) Hope to return in summer

The rooms were ok but the food was absolutely tasteless. I had chicken tikka masala and it tasted of plain chicken in gravy with a bit of curry powder added on top. It was so watery you could see through it! My daughter had chicken, ham and leek pie which again had absolutely no taste. If I shut my eyes I would not have known what I was eating. Definitely will not go there again.

My wife and I have stayed here on various occasions over the last ten years. It is convenient for what we want..is it 4 star....definitely not. The rooms are basic...no face flannels in bathroom...a requisite of 4 star I think...the only thing that really lets this place down is the extortionate prices in the bar....I travel all over UK and world and the prices for rubbish wine in this place are terrible....a nice wine...fine...a crap Asda Pinot Grigio at under £4 and charging £8 a glass for a small drink...get real. We were in the place this week and the bar was empty...wonder why ?...

User

The hotel room was clean and tidy and I would use this hotel again however I would not use either room service or breakfast again. Room service was cold and poor quality and when I raised this with the waitress I was provided with more lukewarm scraps of chips you couldn't call them chips. If you can't get food to a room hot then room service should not be offered. Breakfast buffet was plentiful but again everything was lukewarm which was disappointing as this food was good food. The plates were hotter than the food

User

The hotel is very tired. Been to a few functions & chairs badly stained. Food hotel & what you would expect for large function although some crumble on the apple crumble would be good. Main complaint are the prices for wine & drinks £32 for Prosecco is extortion
