UPDATE: TETTENHALL POOL IS OFFICIALLY OPEN FOR PUBLIC USE!
Just to re-iterate, we’ll make an announcement post once we know that the pool has been filled and is open to the general public.
Until then, please be of the understanding that the pool has not been filled. We will post here when it has been done.
... Again, this is usually done over the Spring Bank Holiday, which is the LAST weekend in May (26th - 28th May this year).
Enjoy the lovely greenery in the meantime! :)

I remember going to Tettenhall pool way back in 1958 when I was 5 with me mates sailing our boats i always loved it .and being serounded by such beauty .i lived in Woodhouse rd Tettenhall and i was born in Danèscort manner house Tettenhall village where my dad was the caretaker i went to the Regis school moved to south Australia in 1969 with my 4 sister's i have traveled around the world 7 times and have never found anywhere else as beautiful as Tettenhall village that i believe is the 6 oldest village in England. I now Drive to Queensland to Toowoomba more than 2000 km to see my son Aron and the grand kids but i am always trying to compare the beautiful scenery of Tettenhall village. Joe Davies my mom's cousin would tell me on visiting him you can take the boy out of Staffordshire but you can't take Staffordshire out of the boy .i have really enjoyed the pictures of beautiful Tettenhall village. You're so lucky.

I have a lot of memories in this park, I often come with kids here, they play ball I draw my design.

I practically lived at the pool when I was growing up. I took my children there and now I take my grandchildren. It's a lovely place to go. The only thing I would say, is that I wish they would put a step or too into the pool, as now I have a few health issues, I cannot step down into the water, or get back out.

Great place x

User

Great day havn't been for 30years, would of been handy if there was a couple of steps in as it was hard for a 2yr and grandmother with health issues to step in .

User

Good days out at the park... I’ve lots of happy memories Here🤔

User

Four generations later and we are still visiting the paddling pool 😀Fab place to spend a family day out and always immaculately cared for by the groundspeople !!

User

Fantastic place to chill out and relax plus the grandkids love it in the water

User

The pool was quiet as I was lucky enough to take my little girl during term time! The pool water was however green and it put off her friend from joining her in the water! I guessed it had been tested as safe as their was attendants skimming the water for leaves at the time!

User

Love it here but there could be space for a cafe/shop saves having to walk over the road etc xx
