What a fantastic Sunday dinner, you get that much make sure you leave space for pudding , service is bang on all so �

We were looking for a last minute eatery after the days fun at Arley's big day out

Driving by saw this place gave them a call table for 4 required and duly obliged

Sunday roast gammon or beef with ALL the trimmings opted for the beef .... Truly stuffed but still had room for THIER citrus cheesecake ... Very good along with the Rev James cask ale

Staff very friendly considering IT was still busy and had time for a chat

Top marks well recommended and a return visit on the cards before we go

The food is gorgeous!! Some staff were in training so service was slower than I'd have liked but all helpful and friendly id go back and highly reccomend it to friends.

Sunday 4.52pm,Just had the best Sunday lunch here, we had beef ,huge portion , everything on the plate fresh home made Yorkshire puds just like my mom makes.So everyone you must try. Just had Sunday lunch here, once again it was fantastic, filling and freshly cooked, both Karen, Graham and their team are very welcoming. It is as always exceptional value for money and we will definitely be back soon.

I attended a networking event (Find a Biz) at the Anker Inn last night - the owners joined us, supplying a lovely spread of food. If you need somewhere to meet clients over a coffee or schedule a private event, it is a great option. They also have lots of events, which look like fun!

Had a night watching the Football, shame about the result but the pub and the crowd were brilliant !

Great owners and killer live music. Helped me out when I was in a tight spot, which I'll be eternally grateful for. Highly recommend this place!

Food and desserts were fantastic, service excellent, staff very helpful and the whole ambiance of the Anker Inn is warm and so welcoming. I can't wait to eat there again. I heartily recommend this restaurant. Thank you

Fabulous night once again been here on three occasions once for meal freshly cooked very nice on the drag night fantastic show and for cheese and wine night fantastic selection of both cheese and wine fabulous hosts as well give 5 stars for everyone who made it a wonderful evening for our mothers birthday 16 people catered for extremely well very impressed

Another great visit to The Anker. You really can't fault the 2 for £10 lunch menu. The fish and chips and scampi and chips were lovely and brilliant value for money. You can always be assured of a friendly welcome-can't wait for our next visit.
