We stayed overnight to celebrate our daughters birthday and enjoy the plays at the RSC. Everything at the Arden was great but a special mention to all the staff who were so pleasant and professional throughout our visit.

We came yesterday for afternoon tea for my Mother’s Birthday. We had a wonderful time and want to give a massive THANK YOU shout out to Petra and Ali; but mainly Petra for being so cool, calm and collected. Nothing was too much trouble; she was smiling the whole way through and she got us all sorted beautifully.



Thank you for making it a memorable fun birthday. And a big shout out to Petra for putting up with us with such grace and professionalism- she’s a credit to the Arden Hotel.

We booked this for a stay at the theatre last night. Lovely food and atmosphere over dinner with staff who were thoughtful and helpful. We were well looked after and I loved the forward thinking and planning. Our room was beautiful with a massive bed, great bathroom and plenty of space. I really enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back. Big thumbs up from us

I would recommend this hotel .

The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, well furnished and a pleasure to stay in, with a very comfy bed and great facilities.SO convenient for the RSC as well! Great breakfast with a good choice of main dishes, plus all the sundries you could want.

We are looking forward to our next visit!

The service, location and ambience of this gem of a hotel are all superb. We had a delightful, trouble free stay this weekend. Nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, not least for the proximity to the RSC and the main centre and attractions of Stratford. My thanks to all the lovely staff.

Lovely setting across the road from the theatre . The presentation of the afternoon tea was lovely and the variety was excellent there was just enough tasty food so none was left. The staff were attentive a asked us frequently if we needed top ups of tea. A recommended experience.

Lovely hotel beautiful room and gardens stay made possible by the kindness of the excellent staff porter yesterday was especially kind to us really excellent place to stay for RSC Ruth xx

I just can’t rate The Arden Hotel highly enough. We were lucky enough to get married here last year and have just returned for our 1 year anniversary. The staff went above and beyond and accommodated our families surprises with care and love �



Even to the details of remembered where we had our tasting meal and making sure all elements of the hotel knew we were returning for our anniversary.



With so many chain hotels, all looking the same it’s so nice to visit somewhere with character and true uniqueness.



A HUGE thank you to all of the staff, for giving us more precious memories �����

Cannot fault it! Beautiful hotel and room, air conditioning, huge bathroom and deep bath, great shower, fantastic location, lovely staff, tasty (and plentiful) breakfast. Just a fantastic stay.



Only one thing which did not take away from our experience... a member of staff randomly walked into our room at just gone 8pm (just after I got out the shower). She apologised and left pretty quickly and we were all mortified. However I expect this was a miscommunication and was a one off. Made us laugh! Would definitely stay again!

An overnight stay while covering a conference at a nearby hotel. The staff were helpfull, polite amd very professional. The room was immaculate and the bed provided an excellent nights sleep. The breakfast was very good, although I did limit myself to just the full English. Overall, an excellent stay, with outstanding attention to detail. Would I visit again, most certainly.

Always stop here for drink when in Stratford, lovely place, great staff and great outlook from terrace

Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The food was on a par to afternoon tea we have had at other establishments. My husband bought it through Virgin Experience along with a river cruise and feels that it was value for money.

My daughter bought us a virgin experience day. The package consisted of a river boat trip and afternoon tea at the Arden hotel. On arrival at the hotel we were seated straight away and made to feel welcome. We are asked if we had any food allergies, I am allergic to fish,they replaced my sandwich to ham. Although the tea was bearly warm, a replacement was bought straight away. The staff were friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend the afternoon tea experience.

Me and a friend went for afternoon tea for two. The location and hotel itself are beautiful and the live music was amazing and created a great atmosphere. Service was quick, polite and helpful. The food itself looked great, wasn’t perfect but none the less would definitely go again!

Afternoon tea was bought has a Christmas gift. staff was very good, food was poor, bread seemed stale, and it seemed like sandwich filler inside sandwiches. wouldn't go back and don't think it's worth the money. cakes was ok.

Afternoon tea for two

My husband booked this as a surprise, on arrival we were seated promptly and asked if we had any allergies , I mentioned I am allergic to strawberries to the waiter he said would sent out raspberry jam instead. When ours arrived it had strawberry jam, strawberry tart, strawberry macaroons and a Turkish delights!

It Seems a little like because your seated in a separate room to the side of the hotel that your forgotten about. I don’t think it was good value for money and overall we were quite disappointed and wouldn’t return or recommend to friends.

I have stayed here a few times and always had no problems been perfect staff really good, until this weekend I left my charger for my iPad Pro in the plug socket in the room I stayed in, by the time I got home and Realised I had left it still plugged in in the room where I had been staying, I Called the Hotel reception to ask if it had been handed in by the cleaners who clean the rooms , I was really shocked as it had not been handed in as they would have seen it as the wire was still attached to the charger, I’m very very disappointed as I have not got this back, I know 100% that was left there and there was no way it would have grown legs and walked , which leaves only one option someone as stolen it , after speaking to several staff on reception the last one I spoke to was a man who was very rude and abrupt he ended up by putting the phone down on me, I’m not happy being treated like this from staff who work in a high end hotel it’s Absolutely disgusting the way I have been treated over this charger that I know I left there. I’ll think twice before I leave anything of any value about in the room again thank god it was only the charger, customers bewear I only had my charger go could have been worse

Afternoon tea was very disappointing. Very dry bread and sickly puddings (not cake). Friendly staff and lovely hotel but the afternoon tea was not worth the money. Will not be returning.
