* Marshes update *
It’s been a tough start for this new lake but over the last month there’s been some cracking catches .
Not massive weights but anglers are starting to pick up some of the tench and better carp . ... Fishing for bites seems to be the way forward at the moment and the rate these fish are growing next year could produce some fantastic fishing ! Some recent catches out of the marshes .

What a difference a day makes!! Saturday 30th December the banks fished rock hard with anglers struggling for a bite and only 17lb winning it!!
However Sunday 31st December only a few anglers decided to brave the weather but were rewarded in a cracking match with plenty of bites. 50lb needed to get into the frame.
... Well done to Dave Walker and Robin Wickham on getting in the frame. Digger you must try harder!

Sorry it's a bit late but thanks everyone for coming. With 26 fishing we decided to peg every other peg from peg 16-62. The weather played its part with a very warm and still day not helping anyone. I think everyone had fish in their peg but trying to get them to feed was difficult at times. ... Well done to everyone who got into the frame and was nice to see some new faces. All sections were won with 60lb + so fishing generally was good.
