so impressed with this place - the food is always nice, the location is perfect, plenty of parking and seating inside is very spacious. Prices are right.



the staff are always friendly and kind.



I find it difficult to find vegan food when eating out but this place is doing very well to stay on top- they do daily vegan specials (starter and main) which i have to admit were absolutely amazing- well done chef we would like to see more of this.

Went today to celebrate our Anniversary. Food was wonderful and our sweets were delicious. Wonderful service from staff too. We will be back soon with the rest of our Family. 5*

Spent the afternoon down there today. Lovely outside terrace with plenty of tables and space. Had a guy playing live music who was awesome. Play area for the kids and an ice cream hut. Food is great and atmosphere and location are perfect. They were short staffed so there was a wait for the bar but that didn't distract from the brilliant atmosphere. First time going there but will definitely going back. Perfect day with good people, good music and good atmosphere ���

Popped in for a drink but as it was a lovely sunny evening and the location was so picturesque we decided to stay for dinner. Good prices, friendly staff and good quality food. We all cleared our plates. Great little play area for the kids too.

My sister booked her husband's 40th there and the staff were friendly welcoming and very accommodating. The food was great loved the cheesy garlic bread! Can't recommend enough. Thanks for a great evening

Had a lovely meal here this evening with 5 colleagues. I had the supreme of salmon. Delicious! We were all impressed with the food and the service we received. If I return to the Isle of Wight I will return to this restaurant.

Excellent service today, we were out as a family of 17 celebrating a birthday on mother's day, all the staff were fantastic, food was delicious and well presented and the staff were understanding and patient with delayed/extra guests.. Highly recommended The breeze... Will be back again!!!!

We visited for Mother’s Day, having had lovely meals on other occasions. Unfortunately it was slightly disappointing, the vegetable curry which sounded great in the menu was no more than some chopped tomatoes and chick peas with 2 squares of pepper and The children’s pasta sauce was so acidic I’m not surprised my daughter wouldn’t eat it. The puddings however were great and service was very pleasant.

Went Saturday night. Meal was nothing different than any pubs...very noisy and not enough waitress as we had to wait quite a while....before our order and after ...shame...

Visited The Breeze today and was very disappointed. Had family over from mainland and thought it would be great location for spot of lunch!. Went to order Thai fish cakes and they were off menu so chose chicken curry! They had also run out of mango chutney and offered mayo instead! Not much of a substitute! Chicken curry arrived and was very bland and not great portion size for £11. Childrens fish portion arrived and it was almost inedible. Over cooked batter with no fish inside!! So got sent back! Haven't eaten here for a while and today's experience sadly won't have us returning too soon!!

The curry was dry and bland and very uninspiring for the £11 that was charged for it! Overall a very underwhelming lunch.

Had a surprise 50th anniversary party last Saturday, I originally booked the function room for 35-40 people, a week before the party date I had to tell them the definite numbers, I said 25, what they didn't tell me was if it's under 35 persons they will book other tables in the function room out to others! When I rang & queried something else they told me that a table of 20 would also be in with our party! They said that under 35 people they would loose money, I told them I had booked the function room not tables, they did rectify this by asking the table of 20 if they minded sitting somewhere else. The buffet was £13.50 a head, on the table was NOT £340's worth of food, the waiters also kept walking through the function room with other peoples food orders to get outside, I understand it was the quickest route but not really acceptable, we also had a couple of people (not from our party) looking at our table of food, ready to help themselves! Cheeky buggers! (Obviously not the fault of the breeze) the que to the bar was out of the door, strangely not like at a pub all around bar but in a single file out of the door! Not enough staff!
