Went for my birthday yesterday with my lady, lovely greeting on arrival by owner. What a lovely treat, food was lovely, loads of different things to try on picnic bench, even put candles in my cake пњљ, waitress was very attentive and thoroughly enjoyed our experience, definitely going to return. Recommend that everyone give a visit пњљ

We went to the Bush inn to try the picnic benches for my daughter's and my birthday. We weren't disappointed. They were absolutely brilliant. Plenty to eat and wonderful fresh cakes and puddings. Would highly recommend and we will be going back for more xxx They even put candles in our cakes for our birthday. A lovely touch. Great staff. Great place. X

We live in Cwmbran so it was a bit of a trek but so worth the journey. Staff were really friendly. We were early but there was a table free and we were served straight away, however we would have been happy to wait. The picnic bench was a real treat, the savoury food obviously freshly cooked and so tasty. The desserts were gorgeous and so well presented, there was more than enough for our big appetites. This was a birthday treat for me and what a treat it was. Thank you пњљ

We came 28th/4/2018, for the picnic lunch. When the table was booked it was explained to them I have allergies. As soon as we were seated the cook came out and explained what they could offer me Nut roast or hot dog, I had the hot dog. 4 sausages in a lovely fresh roll with onions.

When it came to the table I had to swap seats with one of my friends, they had made sure everything was away from anything that could make me ill.

This was by far the most amazing experience we had in England. Such a chance to find yet friends we found for life. And the food? Amazing! They treated us like family. They treated us like friends. I just canвАЩt say enough. I cannot wait to come back. I forever imagine going back while here in the states. Our little guy, Seth, was welcomed and played with Aaron running around with no feelings of discomfort or nuisance. I just canвАЩt say enough. Thank you all for he amazing experience. We came and planned to go one night and try other places the rest of our stay. Instead, we came back until we left and not once would we have it any other way. Myself and my friends came here for the Christmas picnic benches. They were amazing. Something for everyone, of you like sweet or savoury. The staff couldnвАЩt do enough for us and were extremely pleasant. CanвАЩt wait to visit again for another amazing picnic bench. Only downfall is living in South Wales it was along drive but most definitely worth it пњљ

My friend and I took our 11 year old sons for an Easter treat. We loved it. Excellent value for money, we couldn't finish all the desserts but were able to bring them home. Lovely friendly waitress serving us aswell. If I was to be very picky could I possibly suggest a 2nd plate to have your desserts on rather than the same for both courses. But I would definately say 10/10. Whoever thought of the picnic bench idea with tasters of everything is a genius пњљпњљпњљ

My cousin and I came for the picnic bench afternoon tea last night and we couldnt possibly praise it enough! It was stunning, beautifully presented and packed with more food than we could eat.... we had to take cakes home to finish! The inn is very cosy and homely with very friendly staff. All in all a wonderful experience.... we will certainly return пњљ

Finally got round and booked a table here after wanting to go here for months.. due to traffic and diversions it resulted in us being 35 mins late for our table! However, the staff were absolutely lovely пњљ.. we were shown our table, and our food arrived within no time at all.. the picnic was amazing as well and cannot wait for more themed ones. Well worth the 2 hour drive пњљ

Came here today from Caerphilly to try the famous picnic bench, what a treat food was presented nice, fresh and tasted great. Staff was nice and friendly too, well worth the 120 mile round trip. Thanks guys

Birthday treat for my wife from her BFF, mountain of food... chicken burger, fries, mozzarella sticks, followed by cake, creamy sundaes and rocky roads. Too much at one sitting so doggy bags to bring home the remaining treats. Can't wait to return.

Absolutely stunning from beginning to end on arrival was greeted by welcoming staff given an option to eat outside or inside , I sat outside and it was so peaceful this just added to the whole experience the picnic bench came and I kid you not it looked amazing , I did not know where to start really great products and the staff where just so helpful and lovely the entire time thank you for make my day was such a nice trip from sunny wales пњљ

Hubby booked this as a surprise for me. Lovely location, very friendly staff. The lattice fries and mozzarella stick were amazing. My only criticism was my bun was mouldy and the little Victoria sponge and cake pop were as dry as toast. Would I recommend, yes I would. A little discount for the mouldy bun wouldve been nice though пњљ

Genius idea! Food was spot on..and don't be fooled by the small amounts! Very filling! Made it my mission to complete. Grate pub with a very relaxing atmosphere and Friendly helpful staff. We are already planning on trying the Summer Benches. Only critique was the Mac Cheese very dry and tasteless..but then again I'm not a fan of Mac Cheese.

The food was lovely until we went to pay. It must have been the manager or someone that was in charge this evening asked how we wanted to pay and we wanted to pay separately (which he wasnвАЩt too impressed about). One person we was with didnвАЩt want to do contactless however the man still done it contactless and didnвАЩt show the amount on the card dispenser (which is actually against the law). Then another person we was with wasnвАЩt contactless so he pushed the card in with force and nearly snapped it. When I said he nearly snapped it, his response was вАШoh well you can go to a bank and get a new oneвАЩ. Will not be returning as customer service was appalling and very rude!

Went end of last year, photos made the benches look amazing, the food looks mouthwatering. We were left so disappointed, poor quality food. You can tell they use bistro gravy & must microwave most of it. Customer service was lacking too! Such a shame as expected so much more! Would happily pay £15 a head for better quality food, not this cheap stuff!

Went for my birthday yesterday with my lady, lovely greeting on arrival by owner. What a lovely treat, food was lovely, loads of different things to try on picnic bench, even put candles in my cake пњљ, waitress was very attentive and thoroughly enjoyed our experience, definitely going to return. We went to the Bush inn to try the picnic benches for my daughter's and my birthday. We weren't disappointed. They were absolutely brilliant. Plenty to eat and wonderful fresh cakes and puddings. Would highly recommend and we will be going back for more xxx They even put candles in our cakes for our birthday. A lovely touch. Great staff. Great place. X

We live in Cwmbran so it was a bit of a trek but so worth the journey. Staff were really friendly. We were early but there was a table free and we were served straight away, however we would have been happy to wait. The picnic bench was a real treat, the savoury food obviously freshly cooked and so tasty. The desserts were gorgeous and so well presented, there was more than enough for our big appetites. This was a birthday treat for me and what a treat it was. Thank you пњљ

We came 28th/4/2018, for the picnic lunch. When the table was booked it was explained to them I have allergies. As soon as we were seated the cook came out and explained what they could offer me Nut roast or hot dog, I had the hot dog. 4 sausages in a lovely fresh roll with onions.

When it came to the table I had to swap seats with one of my friends, they had made sure everything was away from anything that could make me ill.

This was by far the most amazing experience we had in England. Such a chance to find yet friends we found for life. And the food? Amazing! They treated us like family. They treated us like friends. I just canвАЩt say enough. I cannot wait to come back. I forever imagine going back while here in the states. Our little guy, Seth, was welcomed and played with Aaron running around with no feelings of discomfort or nuisance. I just canвАЩt say enough. Thank you all for he amazing experience. We came and planned to go one night and try other places the rest of our stay. Instead, we came back until we left and not once would we have it any other way. Myself and my friends came here for the Christmas picnic benches. They were amazing. Something for everyone, of you like sweet or savoury. My friend and I took our 11 year old sons for an Easter treat. We loved it. Excellent value for money, we couldn't finish all the desserts but were able to bring them home. Lovely friendly waitress serving us aswell. If I was to be very picky could I possibly suggest a 2nd plate to have your desserts on rather than the same for both courses. But I would definately say 10/10. Whoever thought of the picnic bench idea with tasters of everything is a genius пњљпњљпњљ

My cousin and I came for the picnic bench afternoon tea last night and we couldnt possibly praise it enough! It was stunning, beautifully presented and packed with more food than we could eat.... we had to take cakes home to finish! The inn is very cosy and homely with very friendly staff. All in all a wonderful experience.... we will certainly return пњљ

Finally got round and booked a table here after wanting to go here for months.. due to traffic and diversions it resulted in us being 35 mins late for our table! However, the staff were absolutely lovely пњљ.. we were shown our table, and our food arrived within no time at all.. the picnic was amazing as well and cannot wait for more themed ones. Came here today from Caerphilly to try the famous picnic bench, what a treat food was presented nice, fresh and tasted great. Staff was nice and friendly too, well worth the 120 mile round trip. Thanks guys

Birthday treat for my wife from her BFF, mountain of food... chicken burger, fries, mozzarella sticks, followed by cake, creamy sundaes and rocky roads. Too much at one sitting so doggy bags to bring home the remaining treats. Can't wait to return.

Hubby booked this as a surprise for me. Lovely location, very friendly staff. The lattice fries and mozzarella stick were amazing. My only criticism was my bun was mouldy and the little Victoria sponge and cake pop were as dry as toast. Would I recommend, yes I would. A little discount for the mouldy bun wouldve been nice though пњљ

Genius idea! Food was spot on..and don't be fooled by the small amounts! Very filling! Made it my mission to complete. Grate pub with a very relaxing atmosphere and Friendly helpful staff. We are already planning on trying the Summer Benches. Only critique was the Mac Cheese very dry and tasteless..but then again I'm not a fan of Mac Cheese.

The food was lovely until we went to pay. It must have been the manager or someone that was in charge this evening asked how we wanted to pay and we wanted to pay separately (which he wasnвАЩt too impressed about). One person we was with didnвАЩt want to do contactless however the man still done it contactless and didnвАЩt show the amount on the card dispenser (which is actually against the law). Then another person we was with wasnвАЩt contactless so he pushed the card in with force and nearly snapped it. When I said he nearly snapped it, his response was вАШoh well you can go to a bank and get a new oneвАЩ. Will not be returning as customer service was appalling and very rude!

Went end of last year, photos made the benches look amazing, the food looks mouthwatering. We were left so disappointed, poor quality food. You can tell they use bistro gravy & must microwave most of it. Customer service was lacking too! Such a shame as expected so much more! Would happily pay £15 a head for better quality food, not this cheap stuff!

Went for my birthday yesterday with my lady, lovely greeting on arrival by owner. What a lovely treat, food was lovely, loads of different things to try on picnic bench, even put candles in my cake пњљ, waitress was very attentive and thoroughly enjoyed our experience, definitely going to return. We went to the Bush inn to try the picnic benches for my daughter's and my birthday. We weren't disappointed. They were absolutely brilliant. Plenty to eat and wonderful fresh cakes and puddings. Would highly recommend and we will be going back for more xxx They even put candles in our cakes for our birthday. A lovely touch. Great staff. Great place. X

We live in Cwmbran so it was a bit of a trek but so worth the journey. Staff were really friendly. We were early but there was a table free and we were served straight away, however we would have been happy to wait. The picnic bench was a real treat, the savoury food obviously freshly cooked and so tasty. The desserts were gorgeous and so well presented, there was more than enough for our big appetites. This was a birthday treat for me and what a treat it was. Thank you пњљ

We came 28th/4/2018, for the picnic lunch. When the table was booked it was explained to them I have allergies. As soon as we were seated the cook came out and explained what they could offer me Nut roast or hot dog, I had the hot dog. 4 sausages in a lovely fresh roll with onions.

When it came to the table I had to swap seats with one of my friends, they had made sure everything was away from anything that could make me ill.

This was by far the most amazing experience we had in England. Such a chance to find yet friends we found for life. And the food? Amazing! They treated us like family. They treated us like friends. My friend and I took our 11 year old sons for an Easter treat. We loved it. Excellent value for money, we couldn't finish all the desserts but were able to bring them home. Lovely friendly waitress serving us aswell. If I was to be very picky could I possibly suggest a 2nd plate to have your desserts on rather than the same for both courses. My cousin and I came for the picnic bench afternoon tea last night and we couldnt possibly praise it enough! It was stunning, beautifully presented and packed with more food than we could eat.... we had to take cakes home to finish! The inn is very cosy and homely with very friendly staff. Finally got round and booked a table here after wanting to go here for months.. due to traffic and diversions it resulted in us being 35 mins late for our table! Came here today from Caerphilly to try the famous picnic bench, what a treat food was presented nice, fresh and tasted great. Staff was nice and friendly too, well worth the 120 mile round trip. Thanks guys

Birthday treat for my wife from her BFF, mountain of food... chicken burger, fries, mozzarella sticks, followed by cake, creamy sundaes and rocky roads. Too much at one sitting so doggy bags to bring home the remaining treats. Can't wait to return.

Hubby booked this as a surprise for me. Lovely location, very friendly staff. The lattice fries and mozzarella stick were amazing. My only criticism was my bun was mouldy and the little Victoria sponge and cake pop were as dry as toast. Would I recommend, yes I would. One person we was with didnвАЩt want to do contactless however the man still done it contactless and didnвАЩt show the amount on the card dispenser (which is actually against the law). Then another person we was with wasnвАЩt contactless so he pushed the card in with force and nearly snapped it. When I said he nearly snapped it, his response was вАШoh well you can go to a bank and get a new oneвАЩ. Will not be returning as customer service was appalling and very rude!

Went end of last year, photos made the benches look amazing, the food looks mouthwatering. We were left so disappointed, poor quality food. You can tell they use bistro gravy & must microwave most of it. Customer service was lacking too! Such a shame as expected so much more! Went for my birthday yesterday with my lady, lovely greeting on arrival by owner. What a lovely treat, food was lovely, loads of different things to try on picnic bench, even put candles in my cake пњљ, waitress was very attentive and thoroughly enjoyed our experience, definitely going to return. Recommend that everyone give a visit пњљ

We went to the Bush inn to try the picnic benches for my daughter's and my birthday. We weren't disappointed. They were absolutely brilliant. Plenty to eat and wonderful fresh cakes and puddings. Would highly recommend and we will be going back for more xxx They even put candles in our cakes for our birthday. A lovely touch. Great staff. Great place. X

We live in Cwmbran so it was a bit of a trek but so worth the journey. Staff were really friendly. We were early but there was a table free and we were served straight away, however we would have been happy to wait. The picnic bench was a real treat, the savoury food obviously freshly cooked and so tasty. The desserts were gorgeous and so well presented, there was more than enough for our big appetites. This was a birthday treat for me and what a treat it was. Thank you пњљ

We came 28th/4/2018, for the picnic lunch. When the table was booked it was explained to them I have allergies. As soon as we were seated the cook came out and explained what they could offer me Nut roast or hot dog, I had the hot dog. 4 sausages in a lovely fresh roll with onions.

When it came to the table I had to swap seats with one of my friends, they had made sure everything was away from anything that could make me ill.

This was by far the most amazing experience we had in England. Such a chance to find yet friends we found for life. And the food? Amazing! They treated us like family. They treated us like friends. I just canвАЩt say enough. I cannot wait to come back. I forever imagine going back while here in the states. Our little guy, Seth, was welcomed and played with Aaron running around with no feelings of discomfort or nuisance. I just canвАЩt say enough. Thank you all for he amazing experience. We came and planned to go one night and try other places the rest of our stay. Instead, we came back until we left and not once would we have it any other way. Myself and my friends came here for the Christmas picnic benches. They were amazing. Something for everyone, of you like sweet or savoury. The staff couldnвАЩt do enough for us and were extremely pleasant. CanвАЩt wait to visit again for another amazing picnic bench. Only downfall is living in South Wales it was along drive but most definitely worth it пњљ

My friend and I took our 11 year old sons for an Easter treat. We loved it. Excellent value for money, we couldn't finish all the desserts but were able to bring them home. Lovely friendly waitress serving us aswell. If I was to be very picky could I possibly suggest a 2nd plate to have your desserts on rather than the same for both courses. But I would definately say 10/10. Whoever thought of the picnic bench idea with tasters of everything is a genius пњљпњљпњљ

My cousin and I came for the picnic bench afternoon tea last night and we couldnt possibly praise it enough! It was stunning, beautifully presented and packed with more food than we could eat.... we had to take cakes home to finish! The inn is very cosy and homely with very friendly staff. All in all a wonderful experience.... we will certainly return пњљ

Finally got round and booked a table here after wanting to go here for months.. due to traffic and diversions it resulted in us being 35 mins late for our table! However, the staff were absolutely lovely пњљ.. we were shown our table, and our food arrived within no time at all.. the picnic was amazing as well and cannot wait for more themed ones. Well worth the 2 hour drive пњљ

Came here today from Caerphilly to try the famous picnic bench, what a treat food was presented nice, fresh and tasted great. Staff was nice and friendly too, well worth the 120 mile round trip. Thanks guys

Birthday treat for my wife from her BFF, mountain of food... chicken burger, fries, mozzarella sticks, followed by cake, creamy sundaes and rocky roads. Too much at one sitting so doggy bags to bring home the remaining treats. Can't wait to return.

Absolutely stunning from beginning to end on arrival was greeted by welcoming staff given an option to eat outside or inside , I sat outside and it was so peaceful this just added to the whole experience the picnic bench came and I kid you not it looked amazing , I did not know where to start really great products and the staff where just so helpful and lovely the entire time thank you for make my day was such a nice trip from sunny wales пњљ

Hubby booked this as a surprise for me. Lovely location, very friendly staff. The lattice fries and mozzarella stick were amazing. My only criticism was my bun was mouldy and the little Victoria sponge and cake pop were as dry as toast. Would I recommend, yes I would. A little discount for the mouldy bun wouldve been nice though пњљ

Genius idea! Food was spot on..and don't be fooled by the small amounts! Very filling! Made it my mission to complete. Grate pub with a very relaxing atmosphere and Friendly helpful staff. We are already planning on trying the Summer Benches. Only critique was the Mac Cheese very dry and tasteless..but then again I'm not a fan of Mac Cheese.

The food was lovely until we went to pay. It must have been the manager or someone that was in charge this evening asked how we wanted to pay and we wanted to pay separately (which he wasnвАЩt too impressed about). One person we was with didnвАЩt want to do contactless however the man still done it contactless and didnвАЩt show the amount on the card dispenser (which is actually against the law). Then another person we was with wasnвАЩt contactless so he pushed the card in with force and nearly snapped it. When I said he nearly snapped it, his response was вАШoh well you can go to a bank and get a new oneвАЩ. Will not be returning as customer service was appalling and very rude!

Went end of last year, photos made the benches look amazing, the food looks mouthwatering. We were left so disappointed, poor quality food. You can tell they use bistro gravy & must microwave most of it. Customer service was lacking too! Such a shame as expected so much more! Would happily pay £15 a head for better quality food, not this cheap stuff!
