After the success of this years Re-Connect (London) boat parties and our fantastic stage at Alfresco Festival. Re-Connect is dropping down to the Kent coast to our home town for a Free event at The Chambers, Folkestone, Saturday 8th September, 8pm - 1am. As usual its all about re-connecting with old friends, new friends and getting yourself out for the night to escape the stresses of life. Your never too old to dance with like mined people of all ages, so get out and Re-Conne...ct with music. As usual we will be supplying Dj's to play the best deep & funky house music with a fair few club classics thrown in. We have 3x Folkestone residents supplying the tunes - Francisco, Rev & Thom Norton. This is a totally free event, so jump on a train, bus, cab - whatever - and come down for the night. Those that have to travel, take advantage of the many new boutique hotels and B&B's that have recently opened and make a weekend of it. High Speed trains from London is only 50 mins or 30 mins from Ebbsfleet. By car its 50 mins from Dartford tunnel. This week here at The Chambers 😊 Lots of work happening in the basement bar for the 1st half of the week, so that's closed (Coffee Shop open as normal though) though a full list of entertainment for the 2 half of the week!! Come see what we've done on Thursday when we present BRUISE live from 8.30!

Just a reminder to you Folkestone folk that The Chambers BAR isn't open for the next few days (The Coffee Shop is open all as normal though) as we're putting in place a few upgrades! We re-open the bar again on Thurs at noon.
NOTE! The Originals Open Mic Night on Tuesday in the Coffee Shop is still on from 7.30pm with full table service from the basement bar!
... You can get all our usual licensed products through the Coffee Shop though, so feel free to enjoy a local ale with your paninni in the sunshine outside at our table and chairs over all of the days the basement bar is closed ok 😀
So recap..... Bar closed 'til Thurs at noon when we re-open with full food service as normal and have the fabulous BRUISE playing live from 8.30pm too!! All bar drinks are available through the Coffee Shop in the mean time until 5pm daily 😀

Obviously with the tragic news of Aretha Franklins passing, there have been MANY versions of this, just about her most famous track broadcast all over.. Done IMMENSE justice here I believe by the truly lovely Lisa Mann & her band, featuring Dudley Ross, Steve Watts, Mike Horne & the incomparable Kirkie Fletcher, live HERE at The Chambers in Folkestone last night. What an astoundingly brilliant show!! Full house & a fantastic reaction from all whom attended :-) Thanks guys for really showing us how it's done :-) A brilliant night!!

Venues like this for live music are few and far between. If you are an act who write original music go visit the Chambers. Excellent Beer & great food. Chris & his team will look after you very well. A real diamond of a live music venue. Great atmosphere and a very appreciative audience.

Greatest venue in Folkestone, fantastic selection of drinks, superb menu, consistently high standard of dj's on the weekends and by far the most eclectic selection of professionally performed live music every Thursday night. Not to mention the best open mic nights your likely to experience ANYWHERE.

Oh yea and the staff are alright too. �

Great Food and Beer selection in a splendid music venue. Management and staff are always welcoming and the diverse range of live music makes it the best place to kick back and chill in Folkestone.

Always love this venue for a night out. It's really versatile - you can be in there one night for a folk band, another for a great Mexican meal and then another for a late night dance. Great vibe, great prices and really lovely staff.

Bit of waiting game for drinks but good laughs. Memories made

It was my birthday yesterday (20th march) and my treated me for lunch. Ordered 2 steak sandwiches which I've had before really nice. I only saw salad inside and luckily I opened sandwich to my surprise 2 tiny bits of steak I was shocked. I know they must have a set amount be oh my god was nothing in it! I took it back as wasn't happy and showed the girl who served me and she was very sorry and the chef corrected it. My mums was the same but had a little more than mine! Second time in a row I've gone there and it's been wrong or not good enough!
