Worcester Commandery is a very pleasant place to learn and touch history, Worcester reenactors along with other re enactment groups support the events without any payment; the reason is because we love the place and our specific hobby. This then brings history to life. A happy reenactor is when, they have lots of public to chat and engage with. Come see us throughout the year and love and learn about the historical ghosts from the past.

What a fantastic place to visit. So much bigger than I expected. Building is just stunning. Fascinating history. Lots of information. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely food in the cafe which was eaten outside by the canal. The various living history events on today - 'Oak Apple Day' were very enjoyable to watch. A really nice family atmosphere.

User

We're season ticket holders , gem of Worcester we think. The kids love it and we've all learned so much , ever changing

User

The living history exhibition is an excellent showpiece for Worcester. The people who were there in costume seemed to really enjoy themselves and were very informative and the staff extremely helpful. There was a Punch & Judy show, muskets being fired, weaving, and so much more. I took my 7 yr old son and 2.5 yr old daughter and we all enjoyed it and learnt a lot. Would be good if possible to have it on during the half term weekdays too, though I appreciate these people have jobs!

User

The living history event this weekend was awesome!

User

Thanks for a lovely visit. Our medieval tiles are now proudly displayed. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and very good audio tour

User

Ok..i am biased as i am one of the many reenactors who volunteer there. However, i would not do so if it did not keep drawing me back. They have just finished a huge renovation, which ironically i have not had chance to go around as i was part of the event there. Can someone tell me what it's like?

User

Love this place, the staff are so hardworking and friendly, and as reenactors we feel so welcome and that our efforts are appreciated

User

I love the annual summer plays, and the friendliness of the hosts. This is my fourth year of going, but a first for my friend and still think it is great fun, together with the picnic. Long reign the summer plays!! Thank you so much.

I love having the commandary in worcester. It’s something a little different to do, especially on rainy days. I took my 8 year old daughter to do the mad scientist experiments. Lots of fun and she loved it. One comment though - it was advertised to be £3 per child. When we got there i was told i had to pay for myself as part of the overall entrance fee. I payed and extra £5. Glad i had photo evidence of living in worcester. The advert on the website made no mention of this as i also booked the spot over the phone. We got the tour of the house as part of it so it is still probably worth it but don’t hide prices as it leaves a sour taste. Minor complaint though as a great place to visit now and then.

User

Good and interesting museum , a lot of hands on things for children, free to local residents is an excellent move .

User

My husband and I had a lovely walk along the river and then the canal and stopped off here for something to eat and drink. Had 2 cheese and tomato toasties and 2 coffees £17.20 exuberant prices. Won't be going there again far too expensive.
