We recently held our wedding at the crows nest. From our first telephone call to enquire about the venue right up until the day itself we were met with a professional but warm ‘can do’ approach from both Michelle and Bronwyn, nothing was too much trouble.



The venue was perfect for us, as it’s very versatile. Being a Christmas wedding it was made even more special by the decorations and the lighting which is used after dark, making the marina look magical.



The food was on point. The wedding menu is very varied and we were able to finally decide what to offer our guest following the taster evening we had, which was fab.



The day itself was just perfect. The staff are excellent and work extremely hard, and both Michelle and Bronwyn were on hand to ensure the day ran smoothly.

We initially chose to have our wedding at The Waterfront after looking at numerous wedding venues due to its unique characteristics. We enquired about the package that would be available to us and we were amazed by the outstanding value for money. We were fully satisfied with the service prior to the wedding day. We were taken care of by our wedding co-ordinator, Sarah, who was a newly appointed member of the team. We were extremely impressed with her organisational skills and wealth of knowledge that was gained during her years working within the wedding industry. We felt confident that our wedding was in good hands and we were looking forward to the day itself which came around extremely fast!

Sarah was on hand to support us when setting up the room the day before to ensure everything ran smoothly. Our wedding day was perfect from beginning to end! We were greeted by Sarah during the ceremony who did a fantastic job guiding members of the wedding party. Following the ceremony, the drinks reception was served promptly on the outside terrace, which allowed the guests to take in the stunning surroundings. All of the courses during our wedding breakfast were served promptly. The waiters were very effective as they worked together as a team. All of the food was absolutely delicious. Through to the evening, the wonderful service continued when the buffet was served. The guests all commented on how impressed they were with the day as a whole. With all the emphasis of this review mainly based on the food and our wedding co-ordinator, I would now like to comment on the venue alone. The setting allowed our photographer to get many different shots of which we will treasure forever, taking advantage of the marina itself, the two lakes, the promenade and the national forest. I would recommend this venue to everyone! The new Mr and Mrs Banks would like to thank The Waterfront for ensuring that our day was flawless!

We had such a lovely engagement party here yesterday, Bronwyn was on hand the whole day and nothing was too much trouble when we were there. Now I know how smoothly everything went I'd have total faith to book something here again. Beautiful setting and all round a wonderful day x

We had an evening wedding and reception here on Sunday 6th May and everything about it was just perfect! Bronwyn and the entire team were extremely professional from the moment we viewed to venue until we collected everything the day after our wedding. It's a beautiful venue and we had lots of compliments on the buffet too!

We had an amazing wedding day at the Waterfront in February.

The setting is romantic with canal boats, lakes, woodland and bridges for fabulous photos.

All the staff worked together to ensure our wedding day was organised to perfection from the moment we booked until the end of our big day.

Prior to our wedding day we had a taster session where we were able to customise our menu choices. The food on the day was of excellent quality and effortlessly served by friendly and competent staff. A huge plus with the service was that the food was delivered to each table at the same time (something rarely experienced on big occasions). The evening buffet was awesome too!

The Crow’s Nest is a very attractive and versatile venue which was adapted seamlessly throughout the day for the wedding ceremony, the wedding breakfast and the evening celebrations.

It was great to be able to help prepare the venue the day before our wedding. Michelle was extremely helpful and we enjoyed decorating and setting up the room.

Our guests had a great time and we had the wedding of our dreams. Thank you to everyone at the Waterfront!

Our wedding package was good value for money and we would highly recommend this venue.

We got married here last New Year's Eve and it was absolutely perfect! Bronwyn and Michelle were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble for them. They and the team take great pride in their work to ensure everything goes smoothly on the big day. The food was great - very tasty and plenty of it! I highly recommend this hidden gem - just wish I could do it all over again!

We got married and had our wedding reception at The Crow's Nest and I couldn't recommend it enough. Bronwyn and Michelle were great at keeping me calm throughout the planning process, and were incredibly efficient on the day, keeping an eye on everything and making sure the day kept on track.



I felt the key parts of our reception were in safe hands as our package included the wedding breakfast, an evening buffet and a DJ, so I wasn't organising everything myself from scratch. Our guests raved about the food. It all tasted lovely and I was very impressed at the speed of service during the wedding breakfast (there was barely any time between the top table and last table being served, which must be hard to manage with so many guests!)



The location itself was also very pretty. I think the lighting in The Crow's Nest was good for photo's and there were some lovely photo locations around the marina.

Me and my husband got married here last Saturday and we couldn't thank the team enough! From the moment we went to view the venue to the moment we said our 'I Dos' we was always welcomed by Browyn and the team. Nothing was too much to ask for and Bronwyn was very professional in her job. We wanted a few things changing or adding and nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to get married to check this venue out! It was worth every penny! The packages they provide covers everything so you don't have to worry about finding sources to cater for your wedding.

The food was fantastic from our tasting evening to the big day. And I must say the brownie was the best brownie I had EVER tasted!

Attended a conference on 19/11/15 and had a stall/table to display my Miglio Jewellery. The venue was beautifully set out,spacious and accessible.

Michelle looked after us all marvellously nothing was too much trouble. Lunch was good quality and plentiful.

A great venue and ideal for business groups as well as weddings etc.
