We hired the room upstairs last night and it was absolutely great. Food was amazing, the bar man was ace, and Trevean couldn't have been more helpful, she Is so lovely. Would definitely hire it again! So much fun, brilliant atmosphere. The band �

Had a lovely evening. A nice bottle of Malbec plus for food had the stuffed pepper and mate had the fritters, staff were very attentive, great atmosphere even had a chat with some of the customers.... perfect �

Food was fab, cocktails were amazing (frozen strawberry daiquiri much recommended!) and the girls were great😊I can only apologise that I forgot to leave a tip.....however we will be back and I promise to make it up to you!

Very enjoyable experience. Live band on Saturday night upstairs were amazing . Great atmosphere downstairs too. Lovely staff .will definitely be returning

The Rum festival was fantastic and we’d go again. To make it 5 stars we’d have really enjoyed some sessions on using the rums in cocktails or more about the rum. The staff on the stalls were very good though and the live music was a really nice touch.

I went to the Cuba vs Jamaica night on bank holiday Sunday. The DJ, band and rum punch were excellent and the vibe was good but the only problem was the almost non existent air con. It was like a sauna but without the nice aromas... instead stale body heat and garlic oozing from people's bodies. It was quite unbearable. It's a great place but just needs to sort out the air con or open some windows!

We got there at 8ish we're made to feel welcome by the two girls (staff) welcomed with a lovely smile very helpful. The cocktails were lovely n a free glass of prosseco was lovely too. I wasn't happy with my meal the chicken was too dry could have done with a sauce over it. But apart from that it was a good evening. The band was entertaining n jolly.

The bar an entertainment is great but have to say bar service is very poor. Good bar staff should know who is next. I've been to the bar twice tonight an it's quiet at the moment, 10 mins I've had to wait to be served while staff are loading dishwasher and cleaning the bar., people who arrived after me were also served first.

We had booked for a table of 13 three weeks in advance! Our food took ages, some people's food was cold, some people didn't even have their main. The entertainment was great but we missed the start of it as we were waiting so long for the food! I recommend not eating here just come for the drinks and entertainment.

Worst meal out ever, dried chicken (debatable) croquettes, dry chicken wings with sauce out of a bottle, quesadillas were ok, 3 just ok salmon, 1 under done! crap veg! Such a shame as had seen good reviews. Won't be going back. Also freezing cold ��

We just came back from this bar and entered at 1:20 AM to be charged £20 for 4 people when the bar closed 40 minutes later. I then tried to have a word with the doorman about not being told about the early close, which caused the front doorman to be aggravated and rude. He then asked my brother in law to "step outside" when all he did was get involved because the bouncer was speaking to my sister in a disrespectful manner. The "person in charge" who was an African Caribbean woman with curly hair then stepped out to speak to me to then just tell me "it's not our job to tell you this and that's not the way it's done in England". I find this disgusting considering we had American friends with us and came to this bar as we're all Hispanic and thought the "Cuban" ambience would be good. We've lived in this country for a decade so we know very well how "things work in England", this is why last entry exists. I won't be returning to this bar, and the bouncer at the door was a 6'1 Asian lad. Ive added descriptions of the people in this review so you can maybe have a word with your staff to sort themselves out and not have them ruin your business' reputation. I'll also be telling others of my experience.

When going up to place my order, I was told that they had ran out of chicken. So I opted for the fish option, the young woman serving said she would go check, 10 mins later I was still standing there. I had been forgotten about. So I asked another staff member and placed by order: Cuban fish sandwich and shoestring fries. My order arrived and the accompaniments to the fish sandwich were missing: tortilla chips, plantain and mojo slaw. The fries weren't shoestring but chunky. I was given no explanation or apologises, I was just left with the order. I think she was hoping I wouldn't notice or feel too awkward to say anything. So I went up and enquired about my order and her answer was that they had ran out. Now if that was the case, why not be upfront about it and explain it to me?! That utterly befuddled me! In the end I was offered a refund for my fries, because I had made a fuss. This is unacceptable! I will not be going back.
