We live slightly further outside the town centre but class The Dolphin as our local. The drinks selection is excellent and the atmosphere is always very friendly and welcoming. We stumbled across their food by chance a couple of weeks ago and were genuinely surprised at how good it was, probably the best burger I have had in a long long time. Meat eaters, veggies and vegans are all catered for in a very down to earth environment, old school venue meets fresh and innovative hospitality

Was a good pub before but has stepped it up a notch since the new landlord has taken over, quality beers, great bands and the Sunday club burgers could be the best in Shrewsbury! Fantastic atmosphere and dogs are welcome too, give it go!

The Dolphin has everything you could want from a pub... an amazing and varied menu of mouth watering and delicious food, a great selection of beers and spirits, an outside space that captures the evening sun, awesome live music, an atmosphere full of good vibes, and a welcoming team of staff that are passionate about what they do. Thank you George and team for an amazing weekend!

Popped in with the kids for a burger and chips. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend The Dolphin...it was dog friendly too!!

Literally love this place, its our local and i would genuinely consider not ever moving house because we would miss it so much ha ha! Bar snacks are yummy and wines and beers equally good and pricing is good too ���

Just had a whole Beer Can chicken shared with Dave! at The Dolphine pub it was amazing great home cooked sunday lunch, just waiting for the toffee pudding can't wait x

If I could give 10 stars I would. You may have a bit of a wait but oh my goodness - a m a z i n g. Fantastic value. Working our way through the menu. Had the butter chicken - melt in the mouth and soooooo crispy. Not a spot of grease anywhere. Had a burger today - delicious. Ice cream sandwich was delish. Yum yum nom nom nom

I couldn't recommend this pub enough! George & all the staff are so warm and welcoming. There's a range of different flavoured gins and the wine is delicious! My husband is always impressed with the taste of the beers too. We had the pub tapas last night and it was amazing! Thank you : ) we'll be back soon

I almost want to say it’s rubbish because I want to keep it to myself. But one must not be selfish 😂 my fave place, great atmosphere, amazing food 🥘 lovely staff :) and landlord ❤️

First visit last night - to the Joules at the other side of town!! Well worth the trip out on the bikes and we will certainly be back. From customer service to creative menu; fabulous atmosphere and every mouthful of both beer and food delicious - what’s not to like. A pub where everyone and anyone, dogs included, are made to feel incredibly welcome. Thank you! (But when are you getting on Twitter!)

Absolutly lovely pub. Nice outside area. Staff great. U sud all go for a look, also great beer.

A lovely local with Joules and guest ales, and a friendly reception. And now, two young chefs are currently producing innovative and excellent food at the Dolphin that is refreshingly different from what you can get anywhere else in this town, Definitely recommend giving this a try (evening food is on Thursday to Saturday, I think)

Your tapas menu is amazing, each dish was so well prepared and delicious. Will definitely be back!
