staff were extremely helpfully food was good steak excellently cooked as we asked only criticism was the sticky table awfull get rid quick lol overall a hidden gem

We had a great time for Em's 18th party last night. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, and complimentary about the party atmosphere and behaviour of the young people. Thank you to all concerned.

Was great service and food really well presented and tasty. Only critisism I have is the kids menu is full of junk type choices. We ordered burger for our 6 year old and it looked processed. Please change childrens menu offering smaller portions of what is on adults menu. Apart from that amazing!! We will be back.

The food as always was perfectly served piping hot and well presented. Damn good grub and you will not leave needing more. Usually enough to share if a couple fancy the same thing. Back next week for more.

Popped in for lunch looks a small place but is huge inside, plenty of places to sit, and a lovely play area for children, Staff were great and very cheerful. Food was very nice, although I would prefer a plate rather that the wooden serving style box. Will definitely go back.

Hubby and I took my mother for tea on Friday evening. We had reserved a table in the bar as we took our two dogs. From arrival to leaving we could not fault it in any way. The staff were lovely as was the service and the food was amazing. We'll definitely be returning.

Highly recommend the fish & chips .. absolutely delicious �

We went for lunch, sat outside and looked at the menu, we ordered 2 chicken goujins, and a cheeses ploughman's, food was very nicely presented, the cheese ploughman's could of feed all three of us, value for money

Visited for Sunday lunch over a hot & busy Bank Holiday weekend. The obliging staff found us a table for 3 near the kitchen entrance (despite us not having booked).

We had to wait a while to place our orders but it was obviously quite hectic for the servers.

3 decent real ales were available to choose from (the pub deserves its GBG entry). It’s not the easiest place to get to unless you’re in a car, but it’s wirth the effort.

The Dolphin Inn is a lovely country pub with a fantastic menu. Six of us went last night to celebrate my son's graduation. Our starters were enormous...garlic bread with cheese, potato skins, pate, ribs and chicken legs. I'd recommend sharing unless you are starving.

We had a variety of main courses...a fabulous Halibut with a chowder style sauce, rump and sirloin steaks, gammon and a burger presented in a drawer style platter. All were delicious and very generous portions.

The beer was good and service was friendly although we did need to ask for plates to share our starters, sauces etc. Will definitely go back and recommend highly.

Sat out in the sun and this was our first visit. The staff customer service was second to none. My partner had the meatball marinara which he thoroughly enjoyed,I had chicken goujons but couldnt taste the chicken due to too much batter on them...and the chips dry and bland.Other family members have visited and give it a five .Will be coming again ..thankyou x

Rang and booked a table for 5.30 today for me my husband and son we were not told at the time of booking or when we arrived but our table was booked for the next people at 7, so when at 6.45 the waitress came and told us this it was a bit of a shock as we were still eating our desserts and had drinks to finish so bear in mind when booking you have limited time on your table so if you want a nice relaxed meal where you can take as long as you want don't go here on a Saturday night. Food was delicious but being kicked off our table kind of spoiled the night!

Can here yesterday for my boyfriends birthday, the food was amazing and came quick, the staff were friendly but were a bit rude at times however the pub is beautiful and the food I just couldn't get enough of!!
