Went in for breakfast with a friend yesterday. The new refurb looks amazing, warm and fresh and it was the best breakfast IŌĆÖve ever had there. Would recommend to anybody ’┐Į

The food here is amazing!

Refurb is fab !! A great place to meet up with my mates grab some food. Then on to the bar for a gin & tonic excellent range of choice ’┐Į

Omg the refurbishment has been amazing....looks fresh and clean. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. The food is a must...they have gone above and beyond with the menu, and at outstanding prices. Will defo be coming back, and recommending to others.

I can honestly say this is hands down the best pub I've been to in a while, the food did not take long to come, was delicious, and the service was very friendly. Me and my fianc├® will definitely be returning.

A local here, spent god knows how much money in this establishment. Was always the place to go but was slightly surprised by the changes that had been put in place. The new refurb looks great and I now understand that they are trying to cater to a more family friendly pub rather than simply a bar. Was a little confused as to why you could not sit in the centre of the pub unless you were eating but after talking with the manager I now understand that this is reserved until 9pm for eating only which is fair enough. I do however think this should be made clearer for customers.



After speaking with the manager I am now aware that customers can stand at the bar with their drinks if there is unavailable seating. I think being able to discuss these new policies has given me a better understanding of the motives behind the changes. I would still recommend this establishment to people and encourage that constructive criticism should always be made welcome, which in this instance it has been so.

We are locals but have not use this pub in many years however it was my daughters birthday choice and she chose to go to this pub we were a little bit reluctant but glad to say on arrival we was pleasantly surprised by how it is all been done out and the service was lovely and the food was very nice we will definitely be going there again a lot sooner than in years to come

Well been using The Drum for years meeting place for me and my friend to catch up. We have never had a problem until today and 2weeks previous. The menu has changed and gone up in price but the portions are smaller. Today we went nice and quiet ordered our food then told they had no colslaw so asked if we would have baked beans we said yes. They brought my friends meal and her granddaughters we had to send the child's meal back as chicken nuggets were hard and burnt we waited after 20mins still my food or the child's meal had not arrived by the time our meals had come my friend had eaten hers to top it off there were some locals opposite old men swearing and been loud. Then the bar maid was putting leaflets on the table saying the DINING area was reserved from 5pm for the bowls members so we had to move there was no where comfortable to sit so we left. They have a function room upstairs so why couldn't they let the bowl members go up there this is twice this has happened a family next to us had ordered food then had to move and find somewhere else to sit this is disgusting we will find somewhere else in future
