Wow absolutely outstanding work the team did yesterday for our wedding reception you all went above and beyond for me and my wife i cant thankyou enough from the bottom of my heart if Facebook let me give more than 5 stars i would as everything was amazing from champagne on entrance to the main meals absolutely outstanding �

Went for my sister's birthday, there were 11 adults & 2 children. Didn't have to wait long for the food & it was great quality & well cooked /presented when it arrived. The staff were so helpful, smiling & couldn't do enough to help & made sure we had a fab night. We'll definitely go there again.�

We went at 7.30 last night, after swimming, as a relatively cheap mid week meal. We had been recommended here by a friend.

The pub is relatively small, but was modern and clean. We found a table quite easily although most tables were taken.

I ordered the rack of ribs with sweet potato fries, hubby had 9oz rump and son had the wrap option from the kids menu.

I asked for an approx time to service when I ordered, told 20-25 mins which was bang on.

The rump steak was melt in the mouth and cooked to my husband's taste perfectly. My ribs be delicious and the fries and coleslaw were a perfect side. My son loved making his wrap, the only suggestion would be maybe 2 smaller wraps instead of one huge one. Bear in mind it's aimed at under 10's with small.hands!

We actually ordered an unplanned sweet as we were enjoyed the meal and atmosphere so much. I had a cookie dough creme pie. (as sweet as it sounds) and hubby had salted caramel profiteroles. (delicious) son had an orange fruit lolly from the kids menu.

If you expect michelin star food, this isnt the place, if you want good value, tasty grub, we would highly recommend.

Very busy on Friday evening not been on Friday before good selection of beers food was very good did no have to wait to long fish I had was very nice and big recommend to try will be going back again as normal .

Me and my partner come here every Wednesday evening about 6.30pm we always enjoy our food, yes sometimes we have to wait longer to be served but we are always told when we order if there is a long wait, the few times we had to complain were always dealt with quickly and put right, the staff are very friendly and polite we would recommend The Elisabeth Arms to anyone.

The wait for food wasn't anywhere near as long as expected at busy times and the food itself came out piping hot. Would definitely return.

Went yesterday with a mate , nice place and done out well , so ordered drinks at the bar and Carling for him and I decided on a Heineken , found a table sat down and the Heineken lost its fizzy so changed it for another , no problem , sat back down and that went flat , changed it for a Stella instead which was OK , we both had the skyscraper burgers , waited half hr and it arrived , the handful of chips were just warm and burger itself was big but as exciting as watching paint dry , just bland and not much flavor , won't be rushing back there in a hurry I'm afraid , yet saying that iv been before and been much better .

We booked The Elizabeth Arms on line for 14th April 2018 and requested table 32, as some of our party have hearing difficulties. I rang on 12th April to confirm the table and the lady read the table number out to me and said that's no problem.

On arrival we were told that because we booked on line the table had been given to another party.

I explained that I rang and double checked but she said she was sorry there was nothing she could do.

I Thought online booking should be a good as a telephone call. Also if the table wasn't available a call to us explaining would have been good.

We have been many times and over all happy but felt let down this time

Friendly atmosphere, staff welcoming. Food is what it is. The Stilton sauce that was said was available on the mixed grill was a slab of Stilton, steak a little chewy, tried the chicken, ham and cheese pie for first time. Was way too much cheese but can't really complain as it's more of a taste preference. Overall enjoyable for the prices but do think the sizzling menu food is far better than the classics

Been here a few times and the food is always spot on although the steaks are a little chewy my only criticism of this place is the lack of staff, it's clearly a busy place but just need that extra pair of hands behind the bar to keep everyone happy, staff being the bar although very pleasant seem to be stressed and run off their feet whilst telling customers it's not going to get any better and people need to get used to this (waiting) well I personally think if you want this place to be better and staff to be happy then please listen to them has this is a nice little place to eat out

It's OK nothing special but on a busy weekday evening in June, a 55 minute wait for what was essentally fish and chips and a burger is poor by any standards.

What can I say very very bad

Had starter then waited over 1 hour for main come out freezing cold wrong sauce

Taken back come out again this time not cooked raw in the middle of burger and rare stake when orderd well done wrong sauce again

To top it off drunk man lying all over the seats

With is trousers open so you can see all his bits

There were families with kid there

Say away from this dive

If I could give it no stars I would. Waited 55 mins and chips cold meat tasted like dog meat. I eat a lot and I hated it was the worst meal I’ve ever ordered. Please don’t go here !

Absolutely dreadful customer service for a first visit, thought it might get better with speaking to the manager, definitely needs a re train in dealing with customers issues. Head office now dealing with the complaint.
