been to fairlawns twice this year and both times it’s been amazing. the facilities are clean and beautiful. the rooms are really big and nice and food in the restaurant is incredible! i didn’t catch the name of the lady who did my aromatherapy wrap and dry floatation this time but she did a fantastic job at explaining and really taking the time to listen to my concerns. i was particularly fortunate when i fell ill during dinner to have a particularly helpful waiter help out and assist me. they were great with looking after me and also made sure we had everything we needed. definitely going to try and make this a more frequent visit!

We had our wedding reception at Fairlawns Hotel & Spa and it was incredible. The lady who ran my event was a credit to the hotel. All the staff were incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you to everyone who made our day perfect. Food was incredible, all of my guests were amazed. Our room (four poster) was large, clean and we loved it. Thanks again Fairlawns, you’re doing an incredible job, couldn’t recommend enough xxx

We had our wedding day here in Friday 2 years we have been visiting and eveytime we were treated with respect love care the attention they shown was remarkable every guest commented on how helpful polite professional and caring each member of staff was always smiling and happy to help venue is absolutely beautiful I wish we could do it all again thanks to everyone at fairlawns big shout out to Rachael and mckenzie who took care of me leading up and on my big day u ladies rock forever thankful mr and Mrs jean

We had our 1st visit today but it wont be our last. We really needed to 'chill out' and it certainly did the job.

The decor, music, relaxed atmosphere, variety and quality of everything was great. We had the weekend experience which included 2 very relaxing treatments. Ruth that gave me an Elemis facial was great, really knew what she was doing and didn't rush like some I've had elsewhere.

Food and drink were plenty and yummy.

We came for an overnight stay and dine option, we upgraded to the spa stay and it was simply perfect. We had an amazing night, unfortunately our stay was cut very short as my wife was taken I’ll suddenly with an appendicitis and was rushed to hospital. I just want to say what caring, considerate and attentive staff you have. You made my wife as comfortable as possible and did all in your power to support us both.

Today myself and my fiancé have come to visit you for a spa day, it has been one the best spas we have been too, the treatments (back and facial) were performed by "Ruth" and "safoara" and they were 10*!

The spa was incredibly clean and the standard of the food was great.

We shall certainly be back!

This is the 3rd time I've been here and it gets better every time! We stayed over in the triple room. Everything was perfect. The room was clean and comfy. The spa is the best one been to and we've done a fair few! There's so much to do! The food was all amazing,all meals and snacks..... The staff are lovely and friendly. The service is spot on! The new hot tubs are amazing with adjustable jets and I can see there's more decking thats having work happening soon so be good to see what's coming next. 100% best place. Loved it!!!

This is our 3rd year visiting this fabulous hotel. Four of us booked in for Dinner Bed & Breakfast. The staff are amazing! So friendly, helpful and attentive. Big thanks to Dave, Tom, Rebecca and the chap at the bar on our arrival (sorry, didn't catch your name). Facilities are Ace, food is stunning, rooms are spacious & so clean plus it's great value for money! Looking forward already to next year! Thanks again! �

Not even a glitch with fire alarm going off at midnight could downgrade my review of this place. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the food is fabulous but the facilities are far better than any other spa I have visited.

You can tell its family owned as you get that personal touch. Lunch was Fantastic!

My friend and I had dinner in the restaurant tonight and it was out of this world! We adored the new menu! The food and attention to detail were second to none and the service was friendly and attentive! Couldn’t fault the evening! We’re regulars anyway but will be back ASAP because I want to try other things since the menus changed! Affordable Fine Dining! Just delicious!

Just been today for a spa day... we have been to a few and certainly this was by far the best. Loved the pastries for breakfast, lunch was delicious and a treat of a scone to finish. The girls were all lovely, the treatments were perfect and I loved the touch after telling us what products would help. We are looking at coming back in October but staying overnight this time for our birthdays. Thank you all.

I treated my mom for her birthday on Saturday and we had the best day! The new outdoor Jacuzzis are amazing! The food was so delicious and our treatments were awesome! Thank you to all the fabulous staff for making our day so special. I can't wait to come back and see you all soon. 5 stars! �����

I have done the spa stay several times with family and friends and have always found it very enjoyable and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the spa itself is lovely with a number of steam, sauna and chill out rooms! I will definitely be coming again.

The staff were so friendly and down-to-earth, nothing was too much trouble for them and they really took the time to make you feel at home. The food was incredible (dinner in particular), the room fantastic - spotless, spacious and with all comforts thought of, and the gym was probably the best I've seen in a hotel/spa. It was my partner's birthday and they went out of their way to make it (and her) feel special.



I'm not usually someone that leaves reviews but I couldn't let their service and quality go unappreciated, it was exceptional.

Fantastic spa we had a lovely pedicure by two lovely and friendly beauticians very chatty and the treatment was lovely we did the 55 minute one for two of us!! We also had a facial and back massage that was amazing as well wish I had more treatments the staff are all wonderful and can’t do enough for you. We did an overnight stay and spa we loved the fairlawns the hotel is beautiful the room was massive and lovely breakfast our evening was delicious the food is absolutely fantastic we will be coming back

Been to the fairlawns for dinner and to the spa my friend got married there last year it’s a lovely place the food is excellent and the staff are so lovely nothing is too much trouble I highly recommend it here for restaurant overnight spa or all wonderful will soon be back 💕

25th May, we got married and had our wedding at the fairlawns. From the minute we booked our wedding 2 years ago we have had nothing but amazing experiences with the staff. Nothing was to much trouble and they went beyond to make sure we had the day of our dreams. I can not fault them at all. Food, room, staff all had comments from the guests about how amazing it was. 100% would recommend.

My Sister booked afternoon tea for our elderly Mothers Birthday celebration, but unfortunately this did not live up to our expectations. The whole experience can only be summed up in one word..... Bland. The staff were polite, but 'just doing their job' , the food was acceptable but boringly presented, as was the china it was served on. We have taken our Mother for many afternoon tea's in various places, paying different amounts of money, and feel that our 'Fairlawns experience' was very disappointing . Also I feel that a waiter referring to a customer in her 90's as 'young lady' comes across as a little bit patronising !

My Mom booked a spa day for myself and sister to give me a much needed break from “Mom’ing” for my two kids.

But the day before we were due to go my 4yr old starting throwing up.

Hoping he’d recover (he usually does!) I left it till about 3pm to call and ask how to proceed with regards to rebooking. Only to be told at this stage we would lose the money if I did choose to cancel/try to postpone. Obviously I thought this was pretty disgraceful and decided to leave the booking open and see how he was in the morning. Luckily, he seem better so I was able to go.

The staff who showed us around on arrival seems a little robotic and “cold” (though not rude or anything).

Changing room and showers werelovely - nicely decorated and kept very clean.

Breakie was nice but could have done with abit more variety, especially for my sister who doesn’t like pastries etc. The two ladies on hand to help in the lounge were delightful and helpful.

I really enjoyed the Aerotone class as it’s one of the only times I’ve been able to exercise since having my baby.

Lunch was nice too.

My back massage & facial was wonderful and very enjoyable. My therapist, Ruth was lovely and very friendly.

Generally I really enjoyed the day as a relaxing break, the facilities are very good.

But in parts the staff could do with improving their manner and customer service skills. And Fairlawns definitely need to review their “policy” on cancellations due to illness/kids illness. These (in my opinion) major downfalls are why I couldn’t review any higher than 2 ⭐️. Perhaps it’s somethinf Fairlawns can work on.
