Xmas dinner (second year in a row) and yet again the whole experience was fantastic. Excellent food and service, Lovely atmosphere and no washing up!!! marvellous ���

What a lovely pub food was lovely and so were the staff and a lovely atmosphere

Went here on a busy Saturday evening. Food was delicious. We had teriyaki chicken, steak with garlic prawns and salad, and bacon and mushroom carbonara with garlic bread. We will come again. Two points:- plates could have been warmer as food was tepid and more sauce with the carbonara but otherwise delicious thank you.

This was the second time we got a bit lost and we were happy when we saw this place again!!! Like the fact that its quiet even though its on a main road. I love the eclectic look of the decor. Staff are lovely and food is great. Whats not to like!!! Next time we will find directions to this pub rather than find it by chance!!

The festive menu here is delicious and great value for money with great service and atmosphere 🎅👍🏻👍🏻

Popped in Friday with three friends, all had starter and main meal for £6.99. service was very friendly and food was delicious. I've been a few times before and always been happy eating there. Always feels very cosy and comfortable in there. Will certainly be visiting again soon.

Perfect medium rare steaks...the onion rings were amazeballs. Food was bought out quickly too � Bar staff were blooming brilliant and were aware of all their customers. Can't wait to come back 🍽���

My other half and I visited The Foley Arms, during the weekend a busy Saturday night with a great atmosphere, all the staff are very polite, welcoming and nothing is to much to ask for. The food we ordered arrived to our table very fast and was very delicious. Will definitely be returning again.

Meet the girls to celebrate a 60th Birthday. My chicKen and portabella pie couldn't fault it expect it came with mash which I hadn't ordered, waiter offered to bring chips but I declined. The plate could have been warmer. Good two courses for £8.99. Will be back x

I went with my sisters for lunch and must admit it was lovely and will definitely be going back soon.

I was visiting from New York, food was good, service was good, always a pleasure visiting this place.

I came for a meal with my family last weekend and must say the service and food was really excellent. Was nice to find a place that is not sacrificing its normal service purely because there is a World Cup being played.

Had a celebration meal for 12 people plus a10 month old baby. Food was very nice and the service was excellent. Well done the Foley Arms !

After a previous to the foley where we had cause to complain . I would like to post a review to say how well Alex dealt with it and that we had a lovely time on this visit and everything was very nice . Thank you very much we will come back again .

Went here for lunch, the car park was busy but we did manage to find a space, and a table when we went in. We had 2 courses for £6.99, service at the bar was fast and pleasant, and the food was nice, nothing out of this world but what you would expect for the price.

When our dessert came we waited to see if coffee was coming to us. We carried on eating our dessert and still no coffee any way we had a lot to do and couldn't wait any longer, so we left without getting the coffee we paid for. But overall we were very happy with the service and price of the set menu. We will be going back again and again.

Thursday night disco doesn't last long enough..9:30 till 11:30pm...even a kids disco lasts longer than that sort it out ember inns.

Took 25 mins to get a olive and bread starter. Waited 50 mins for salad and burger and chips. Chips came out freezing cold and not cooked.

Chips were under cooked and the hunters chicken had no bbq sauce on it so it was a dry chicken breast (over cooked) a slice of bacon and melted cheese. Will not go back there!! Better meals at The Glassworks pub!!!

I went here last night with my hubby, I was really disappointed it seemed different since last time I went two tables we tried were wobbly, and the toilets were absolutely revolting and stunk of really strong urine, they were filthy and really nasty and run down, I don’t think I will go here again shame as it used to be lovely. Need to refurbish the loos badly!

I enjoy Thursday nights in the foely but the heat issue is becoming ridiculous not only on the dance floor but the whole pub is ridiculously hot, i totally understand doors and windows can't be opened due to nearby neighbour's. I believe i can speak for a few people we enjoy Thursday nights in the foely but the heat is becoming a problem

Dreadful experience. Went for lunch for a colleagues bday today, still sat there over 45 mins later waiting for food that never arrived after everyone's food around us was being brought out. Even after asking no one still came explained delay or offered any drink top ups etc, We couldn't wait any longer as only had limited lunch time from work, so had to have our money back and leave hungry with to time left even fetch a snack to take back to the office. Very disappointed...no customer service whatsoever

Was a whole breast of chicken on the bone very nice, 1 slither of beef, 1 slither of pork not off a joint, may as well saved £2 just had a chicken lunch, frozen Yorkshire puds, frozen aunt Bessie stuffing balls, should be seasonal veg and carrots, it actually came with meditterian stir fried veg peppers, olive oil etc! On a Sunday roast?? Who the hell does that!! Bar staff amazing good beer, friendly.. but the food was appaling..

Cocktails are terrible, also whether the chips were actually “seasoned” is debatable!

went on the 21st December not over busy,placed our order which was a medium steak,and a mixed grill,upgraded to an 8 oz on the mixed grill with accompanying sauces..The waiter approached our table with two meals,which we hadnt odered,to which returned to kitchen,then two more meals were brought out to the table opposite,to which one meal was correct, but missing garlic bread,which the young gent made it clear was missing,but the other meal was supposed to be one of our meals,the medium steak...no sign of the mixed grill at this point,may i add.We had to ask for cutlery at this point ...As my partner cut into her steak,it became quite apparent that this was no medium steak but in fact ,rare-blue..along now comes the mixed grill....There was no up-grade on the steak which i had paid the extra £2 ,stated on the menu..the few fries which came in a ceramic pot were burnt with mostly ends of chips as if scooped from the bottom of the fryer..We told the waiter that not only the steak was wrongly cooked,there were no sauces,no steak up-grade,he took the meals away,returning shortly to find the steak had been cooked to medium,there was a token piece of steak thrown on top of the existing steak,supposeingly taking it up to the 8oz i originally asked /paid for...Everything else by this time on our plates were cold. I am totally disappointed in this visit and will be a very long time or at all a return

Went for an impromptu lunch ..ordered the duck salad and my friend ordered mixed grill

The duck salad was horrendous,no resemblance to duck apart from 3 tiny pieced the rest was shredded to nothing so was indistinguishable as duck and tasted of metal for some reason.....I sent it back and was told the bacon and avocado salad was good ... waited and out it came ,the only thing fresh on it was the lettuce ,the onion ,tomato and cucumber had been frozen and had been left to dry out ,the avocado was a mush ....just awful ....chicken tastes of nothing neither the bacon � didn't feel like speaking to manager but she came over ,I explained ,no sorry nothing just "shall I take it away then"

went on the 21st December not over busy,placed our order which was a medium steak,and a mixed grill,upgraded to an 8 oz on the mixed grill with accompanying sauces..The waiter approached our table with two meals,which we hadnt odered,to which returned to kitchen,then two more meals were brought out to the table opposite,to which one meal was correct, but missing garlic bread,which the young gent made it clear was missing,but the other meal was supposed to be one of our meals,the medium steak...no sign of the mixed grill at this point,may i add.We had to ask for cutlery at this point ...As my partner cut into her steak,it became quite apparent that this was no medium steak but in fact ,rare-blue..along now comes the mixed grill....There was no up-grade on the steak which i had paid the extra £2 ,stated on the menu..the few fries which came in a ceramic pot were burnt with mostly ends of chips as if scooped from the bottom of the fryer..We told the waiter that not only the steak was wrongly cooked,there were no sauces,no steak up-grade,he took the meals away,returning shortly to find the steak had been cooked to medium,there was a token piece of steak thrown on top of the existing steak,supposeingly taking it up to the 8oz i originally asked /paid for...Everything else by this time on our plates were cold. I am totally disappointed in this visit and will be a very long time or at all a return

Went for an impromptu lunch ..ordered the duck salad and my friend ordered mixed grill

The duck salad was horrendous,no resemblance to duck apart from 3 tiny pieced the rest was shredded to nothing so was indistinguishable as duck and tasted of metal for some reason.....I sent it back and was told the bacon and avocado salad was good ... waited and out it came ,the only thing fresh on it was the lettuce ,the onion ,tomato and cucumber had been frozen and had been left to dry out ,the avocado was a mush ....just awful ....chicken tastes of nothing neither the bacon � didn't feel like speaking to manager but she came over ,I explained ,no sorry nothing just "shall I take it away then"

Went here on a busy Saturday evening. Food was delicious. We had teriyaki chicken, steak with garlic prawns and salad, and bacon and mushroom carbonara with garlic bread. We will come again. Two points:- plates could have been warmer as food was tepid and more sauce with the carbonara but otherwise delicious thank you.

This was the second time we got a bit lost and we were happy when we saw this place again!!! Like the fact that its quiet even though its on a main road. I love the eclectic look of the decor. Staff are lovely and food is great. Whats not to like!!! Next time we will find directions to this pub rather than find it by chance!!

Popped in Friday with three friends, all had starter and main meal for £6.99. service was very friendly and food was delicious. I've been a few times before and always been happy eating there. Always feels very cosy and comfortable in there. Will certainly be visiting again soon.

Perfect medium rare steaks...the onion rings were amazeballs. Food was bought out quickly too � Bar staff were blooming brilliant and were aware of all their customers. Can't wait to come back 🍽���

My other half and I visited The Foley Arms, during the weekend a busy Saturday night with a great atmosphere, all the staff are very polite, welcoming and nothing is to much to ask for. The food we ordered arrived to our table very fast and was very delicious. Will definitely be returning again.

Meet the girls to celebrate a 60th Birthday. My chicKen and portabella pie couldn't fault it expect it came with mash which I hadn't ordered, waiter offered to bring chips but I declined. The plate could have been warmer. Good two courses for £8.99. Will be back x

I went with my sisters for lunch and must admit it was lovely and will definitely be going back soon.

I came for a meal with my family last weekend and must say the service and food was really excellent. Was nice to find a place that is not sacrificing its normal service purely because there is a World Cup being played.

Had a celebration meal for 12 people plus a10 month old baby. Food was very nice and the service was excellent. Well done the Foley Arms !

After a previous to the foley where we had cause to complain . I would like to post a review to say how well Alex dealt with it and that we had a lovely time on this visit and everything was very nice . Thank you very much we will come back again .

Went here for lunch, the car park was busy but we did manage to find a space, and a table when we went in. We had 2 courses for £6.99, service at the bar was fast and pleasant, and the food was nice, nothing out of this world but what you would expect for the price.

We went there for a three course meal and had excellent food the meals were all hot and taste. How ever we did wait a little bit longer between meals and I ordered a coffee to come with the dessert. When our dessert came we waited to see if coffee was coming to us. We carried on eating our dessert and still no coffee any way we had a lot to do and couldn't wait any longer, so we left without getting the coffee we paid for. But overall we were very happy with the service and price of the set menu. We will be going back again and again.

Visited for lunch yesterday. Food was delicious but time it took to get food was noticeably slow. It took ages to bring our starter of bread and olives!! Staff very polite and pleasant.

Thursday night disco doesn't last long enough..9:30 till 11:30pm...even a kids disco lasts longer than that sort it out ember inns.

Went Saturday as a group and have to say it was very disappointing. 7 meals, two served cold and one steak so tough the meal was refunded. Staff very quick to respond to our concerns, mine went back, steak had been warmed, everything else left to go cold!! Too hungry to bother again especially when everyone else was eating.

I can’t understand why it is so difficult to prepare and deliver quality food. It wasn’t busy due to the poor weather and the meals are really not that complex. Very disappointed �

Took 25 mins to get a olive and bread starter. Waited 50 mins for salad and burger and chips. Chips came out freezing cold and not cooked.

Not the best breakfast but not the worst. Might try a main meal instead next visit

My girlfriend and I went there on Friday night for a meal as we'd heard it was nice. Chips were under cooked and the hunters chicken had no bbq sauce on it so it was a dry chicken breast (over cooked) a slice of bacon and melted cheese. Will not go back there!! Better meals at The Glassworks pub!!!

I went here last night with my hubby, I was really disappointed it seemed different since last time I went two tables we tried were wobbly, and the toilets were absolutely revolting and stunk of really strong urine, they were filthy and really nasty and run down, I don’t think I will go here again shame as it used to be lovely. Need to refurbish the loos badly!

I enjoy Thursday nights in the foely but the heat issue is becoming ridiculous not only on the dance floor but the whole pub is ridiculously hot, i totally understand doors and windows can't be opened due to nearby neighbour's. Dreadful experience. Went for lunch for a colleagues bday today, still sat there over 45 mins later waiting for food that never arrived after everyone's food around us was being brought out. Even after asking no one still came explained delay or offered any drink top ups etc, We couldn't wait any longer as only had limited lunch time from work, so had to have our money back and leave hungry with to time left even fetch a snack to take back to the office. Very disappointed...no customer service whatsoever

Disappointed.. went in for a family meal on a Sunday, had the triple roast. Was a whole breast of chicken on the bone very nice, 1 slither of beef, 1 slither of pork not off a joint, may as well saved £2 just had a chicken lunch, frozen Yorkshire puds, frozen aunt Bessie stuffing balls, should be seasonal veg and carrots, it actually came with meditterian stir fried veg peppers, olive oil etc! On a Sunday roast?? Who the hell does that!! Bar staff amazing good beer, friendly.. but the food was appaling..

Cocktails are terrible, also whether the chips were actually “seasoned” is debatable!
