One of our Breakfast dishes that has been very popular over the last year or so is our MORNING GLORY full English. Home made foot long Pork & Black pepper sausage, back bacon, black Pudding , mushrooms, saute potatoes, beans, grilled tomato and eggs served either fried, poached or scrambled. With a side of toasted bloomer bread & butter . Served early on sundays from 9:30 until 11 and on our main menu as an all day breakfast.

We were looking for somewhere to have a drink prior to watching Coventry v Barnsley. Found this gem which is just a short(ish) walk along the canal to the ground. Lovely setting on the canal, great beer and food. Also parked for free which can be a novelty for football matches. Locals were very friendly and enjoyed some lighthearted banter with some Coventry fans. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

User

We are so lucky that the Greyhound is our local. The setting, the decor, the staff, the FOOD, the entertainment is all superb. Lee and Vince you are the National Treasures of the pub(and others but i don't know ya names!) Deb & Al xxx

P.S. Mega thanks to the Chef & kitchen staff too specially in this heat, well done & keep up the amazing things you ALL do x

User

We are fortunate enough for this gem to be our local.. we should visit more than we do.. but when we do we always enjoy our visit.. we have however made a effort to attend many of the events offered by the greyhound and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.. lovely location.. fab food.. nice people.. what more could you ask for...

User

Very friendly staff couldn't do enough for you, food excellent & drink just as good will go again

User

Up from Cornwall to visit relatives, we were taken to this lovely pub for lunch. Had a private dining room booked upstairs, with views over the canal. The food was delicious and plentiful. Good choice of veggie options too. Not the usual Veg Lasagna or microwaved risotto that a lot of pubs offer. Staff were very nice. I have seen another review on here where someone whinged about the waiter being dressed casually. Personally, and I think this applies to most reasonable minded people, I couldn't care less what the staff wear as long as they are helpful and nice, which they most certainly were. Everything was clean and fresh. The journey there didn't prepare us for what we found. A hidden gem in the middle of a built up industrial setting. Would recommend it highly to everyone. PS. I was driving so couldn't sample the beers so can't comment on those
