We visited yesterday for a cocktail masterclass and having never been to one before it really lived up to my expectations. Shaun was extremely knowledgeable and his passion for cocktail making was clearly evident! We were able to enjoy each delicious cocktail and did not feel rushed through the experience at all. We stayed for a few more drinks afterwards as the menu was so vast. Would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone who wants a personal cocktail making experience!

This is one of our local pubs and eateries. We have been to just enjoy a quiet drink as well as to eat in the restaurant. We always select the Indian menu and find the food very good. There is a good choice for both meat and vegetarian palettes and we have always enjoyed our food. The staff are friendly and welcoming and professional. The pricing is in line with what I would expect to pay in any restaurant providing food of this quality. Always a pleasure to visit.

The best mixed grill this side of Birmingham, the refurb is amazing too.

I love this place. The menu is one of the most diverse I have ever seen. I have tried the fish and chips, the pizza, several of the Indian choices and they have all been excellent and very tasty. We have taken guests here a couple of times and they have loved it, too. We tend to go at around 6pm with our small children and the staff are always very welcoming and attentive.

I couldn’t believe how much the horseshoe had changed, the service was excellent from Husaiyn a real nice guy and the food was beautiful! Definitely will be a regular being five minutes from home 👍🏼👌🏼🍺🍸🍽

8 of us went, we shared mixed tandoori starters, all had curry mains with rice and/or naan bread. The food was all delicious, couldn't fault it, however it was a bit pricey. As always the drinks bill pushes it up but £14.50 for a curry and naan is more expensive than most places. Having said that the food is not your bog standard chicken tikka masala. The food is very different and absolute delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Went for a cocktail masterclass with new GM Shaun. Fabulous experience, fabulous place. Shaun was very knowledgable, nice, attentive and made our night really great. Lovely place and the cocktails are the absolute best. I've only rated 4 stars as we didn't eat so I cannot comment on the restaurant. It did all smell divine though as we went in. Great location & atmosphere.🍸🥂🍹

We had a real fun night. The lady who was our cocktail master was fun, friendly and couldn't do enough for us - even by making her own mocktails for our designated driver. The pre lesson Indian platter was yummy and the food we had afterwards was tasty. Service was fast. The only thing that was a bit weird was suddenly the lights went out and the disco lights and music started! We thought it was excellent value for money on the cocktail lesson thanks to groupon. They also rang us in the day to see whether we were still planning on attending! A good night. Thanks.

We booked a cocktail making evening on Groupon. £12 each . It was a bargain for the 4 lovely cocktails we had , demonstrated by the lovely Shaun . Would have got 5 stars if there had been more people making cocktails as we felt a little out of place , but we were made very welcome . I would suggest nibbles , crisps , nuts etc through out the making instead of at the end .

Went with high hopes and the starters were lovely! Moving on to the main course my chicken tikka was literally grizzle! Pink in places which made me lose my appetite completely! Was very disappointed as I don’t get to go out often with two small children to be babysat! Won’t be back!

Ordered a pizza and pasta meal and after a bit of a wait the meals came out. The pizza looked very plain from the spicy chicken order and it was quickly noticed it was the wrong pizza. Just as we were going to say my partner bit into a piece of solid plastic in the pizza. I've never been in a restaurant and had this happen before. We did complain and apparently the right pizza was taken to another table. Did get the right one in the end. Pasta was ok.

Visited this evening with family and friends for a special occasion. We were all Extremely disappointed with the food and service or rather non service. One of the meals being chicken tikka arrived on a plate uncooked. Still red in the middle. The second meal being lasagne had a piece of plastic in it. Staff member offered no explanation for this. Wondered if it came from a packet lasagne. 2 members of our family approached a member of staff who said he was new and only been there a few weeks but then later told us he was the manager and he was going to make a lot of changes to the place and take on more staff as he'd got concerns about the place. His words not mine Indeed there is major concerns there. He apologised but that's it, no explanation for uncooked chicken and plastic in a lasagne. Rather than offer a complimentary meal like you would expect he just told them they could order something else. One member refused to and the other chose a pizza which was indeed uncooked. Looked like a pizza bought from a supermarket and coated with extra cheese. Waited 1 hour 15 minutes for food. Oh and when we asked for the bill so we could settle up and go that took half an hour. Not knowing then but know now from looking on this page that the actual manager was in the background and kept looking over at us. Common courtesy would of been to speak to us about the problems they'd imposed on us. Instead of keep staring over. Very rude. Not the way to run a business really is it. Where's your customer service? Overall rating absolutely dreadful. Horrendous dining. Extremely expensive. It is lovely inside but that doesn't reflect in the menu or staff service. Just like going to a hungry horse but at least there it's cheap and you don't expect too much for the price you pay.

Thanks to the manager, waiter and waitress for spoiling a special occasion we were looking forward to spending together with good food and good atmosphere. The only thing we had was good company each other!

Our food and drink order was messed up (only 7 of us). Very poor service. We had to ask 3 times for condiments. My daughter's biriyani was just spicy rice and a yoghurt dip. Have NEVER been to an Indian restaurant that does not serve a vegetable sauce with a biriyani. They tried to charge us for a bottle of wine we didn't have and I totally refused to pay the service charge they added onto the bill!

Starting with being 'forgotten' about when our timeslot was overdue by at least 30mins, i wish i could forget the whole experience as easily.

starters- mushroom bruschetta- bruschetta was 2.5 slices of ( what must have been) frozen garlic bread with condensed mushroom soup on top with lots of rocket salad. Way way to salty. Main meal - i chose spaghetti carbonara - purely because i didnt fancy any other main after the poor starter. After about 45-60mins this arrived without appropriate cutlery. I was expecting a nice creamy cheese sauce of some description as you would from description of this meal. What i got was a dish of spaghetti, not a drop of cheese sauce in sight and lots of olive oil in the bottom where i found the crudely cut/cooked bacon. I know it said the spaghetti was cooked/served with a touch of olive oil but clearly the kitchen had a heavy hand.again the rocket salad piled on top? I actualy only ate the salad and returned the rest. I didnt fancy my chances of anything else but the waiter insisted on "something quick" nachos and chicken. I reluctantly agreed. Why? It turned up with a bowl of very salty nachos what looked like chip shop chicken kebab meat, a touch of tomato(puree possibly) covered in cheddar with a dollop of guacamole and sour cream sauce( still think it was mayo). All grilled so that the nachos on top were burnt and crispy and the ones underneath were stone cold. Needless to say a dessert was never going to be an option. By the time i'd got home my lips were stinging from the salt i had consumed. Oh and the service was shockingly bad. Never ever ever will i ever recommend this place to anyone ever. They need to concentrate on the food to match what is, lovely decor - in fact i might have been better eating that.

Lovely pub and was very happy with the food. Unfortunately as i was waiting for my partner outside, i could not help but overhear one of the waitresses who had seemed lovely earlier bragging about cheating on her boyfriend who is in the Army and on tour with someone she had met there. Needless to say i won't be returning.

I would never visit this place again. We came here for a special occasion. There is way too much choice to choose from. How can you have a English,Italian and Indian menu in one restaurant. Baffled me! The waitresses are very slow, not a smile on any of there faces. Seemed uncomfortable to talk to customers. I did get called by one of them 'I'm doing this one'.

Then the food come...Red, bloody chicken, plastic in lasagne. We called the guy over who wasn't to sure if he was manager or not which was very strange. He apologied, and asked if I wanted another one. Which I didn't I was put off by the Uncooked chicken. He never offered a complimentary drink or pudding. I think there only interested in making money and not having customers return. Also the menu is really overpriced!! I can not see how you can have your prices so high, when there is no quality in the food. I think Gordon Ramsey needs to visit this place and help you guys out.
