We've eaten at The Ivy Birmingham several times, as a table a deux and also in groups of four and six and each time we have had a fantastic experience. Food is amazing, staff are friendly and the service is immaculate– and those chocolate bombes are legendary!

We went here on a Sunday lunchtime for a family meal. It was great food and great service! The desserts were a particular favourite - the presentation was amazing and they tasted out of this world! I will definitely visit The Ivy again soon!

We visited on 4th August for an early evening dinner to celebrate my sister in law’s 70th birthday and we were not disappointed. Lovely table location and the general ambience was first class. From the moment we walked into the restaurant until we left the staff were so attentive, highly professional and extremely friendly especially our lovely Bulgarian waitress Iliyana.

Menu was very good and the food was exceptional. We had a wonderful evening and we will definitely go back. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

We celebrated our anniversary today with a wonderful brunch, we had a great table, the food was amazing and our waitress was fantastic x

We came here last night to celebrate a birthday and what can I say. You certainly didn't disappoint at all. The food was exceptional, the staff were polite, professional and very helpful the customer service was off the scale. Our waiter Bernardo Maia was brilliant is a real credit to your restaurant. We will definitely be coming back very soon.

Stunning setting and excellent service. Not the best burger I have ever had but loved the pate starter and will definitely go back.

I met with my girl friends and we all had a delightful afternoon. The waitress couldn't of done enough for us. We all left the restaurant feeling great and well fed.

I have been several times for breakfast and dinner and this is one of my fav places. The food is excellent, cocktails are beautiful and the people can not do enough for you.

Had a lovely meal last night for my wife's birthday, staff were very friendly and the food was amazing thankyou for a lovely night

Food was wonderful, the service was gt , my only criticism is that we arrived 30 min before our booking hoping to seat at the bar for drink but were told we could as it was to busy � we were seated early and had drinks at the table shame thou xxxx would defo return

First time at the Ivy - excellent food and service. The Apple tart with Calvados flambé is to die for. A glass of complimentary champagne for my daughter on her graduation from the University of Birmingham was the cherry on the cake thanks.



If you need to celebrate a special event then stop by - I’m sure you’ll be looked after.

Fantastic venue great service. The menu is vast we all had fish different dishes all were amazing great price not silly will return again and again!

Excellent food after watching our son in a show this afternoon and service was fantastic and atmosphere was lovely definatly recommend The Ivy 5* great day all in all x

Booked for my husbands 30th, table of 8 of us, from the beginning our waiter Joel (apologies if I got this wrong) was wonderful, he was attentive, funny and made us all feel very well looked after. Especially my husband who was brought a glass of champagne to start his evening. The service was flawless, the food was some of the best food I've ever eaten and it was lovely that they remembered who ordered what drink or plate of food wonderful service!! We had pre ordered a chocolate mousse cake and this was beautiful, very rich and yummy. Overall a perfect evening, I can't praise you guys enough! Thankyou x

We visited for my Daughters 18th Birthday which I mentioned on the booking. The decor is stunning and food was really fantastic and beautifully presented. I honestly couldn’t say the service was where I expected it to be having heard so much about the effort taken to get it perfect. My Daughter got 2 extra free truffles with her desert order as it was her 18th Birthday which was nice but I felt a bit deflated as other places make it more special on Birthdays even when it’s not a “big one”. Nevertheless we had a lovely evening it just didn’t feel as special as I would have hoped. Not sure it was the right place to celebrate a big occasion. I would recommend but not for a special occasion more casual dining.

The food did not disappoint. Everything was immaculately presented and delicious. I would love to give the Ivy 5 stars but it let itself down on one point. We had a reservation for 7.15 and did arrive a few minutes early. We were therefore asked to wait at the bar as our table was being prepared. 55 minutes and two cocktails later, my husband asked a waiter why we hadn't been seated. The response he got was 'we'll seat you straight away' they did which was great but I think an apology would've been appropriate as they had clearly forgotten about us. This did impact on the enjoyment of our meal as we had a train to catch and had to ask the waiter if we could pay the bill before our puddings arrived so we could just leave once we'd finished. This hasn't put us off the Ivy as the food was excellent and the waiter Sebastian extremely attentive. For this alone I would give 5 stars. We will return again.

How can you run out of ingredients to make a Virgin Mary when it’s on the menu? Breakfast was nice though and the service. Went to Gusto’s for a Bloody Mary after lol.

Great food, Cocktails were fantastic, staff great although we did have long waits in between courses. For me it was a bit loud and a little acoustic insulation would take the noise down but my kids in their 30s thought the noise was fine and they felt they could talk and did not have to whisper. Loved it overall and will go again.

Beautiful interiors, great and stylish crowd. Service was good (a bit slow at end), but nothing outrageous. Food was excellent. Server was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return.
