We had a superb meal. Compliments to the chef. But also to Paula and the equally helpful and friendly staff who made our anniversary special. Even giving us a celebratory glass of bubbly. Thank you. Hayley and Tony.

We had a private function here in November 17. We were very pleased with how the day went, the buffet was great, everything ran very smoothly and the staff were all fantastic. Special thanks to Paula, nothing is too much trouble for her and she is genuinely happy to help in anyway she can.

Been meaning to write a review for a while now, we had dinner there last night which has reminded me. We were so happy with our meal, I had the lamb loin, my husband the cote du boueff, both were cooked perfectly everything on the plates was fantastic, I honestly can not fault any part of it! We found the price very reasonable, top quality food and excellent service from the staff. Many thanks, we will definitely be back.

The Jacobean on Holyhead Road is a lovely

place to eat. Good reasonable prices. Great Chef. Waitresses and Waiters first class

I would recommend people go and try it . They will be plèasanly surprised. They also do a very good Afternoon Tea st £12.50 per person.

We will be there again next week for second

My partner and I have stayed here twice this year - first in Feburary where we had this lovely room with a four poster bed and bay window and the second time in March where we had a more sedate room with a really comfortable bed.

The Staff are incredibly helpful, and I've found the breakfast to be enjoyable. The hotel is well situated (and minus some faffing with the shower controls), we've found our stays enjoyable.

We'll be back. :)

My husband & I stayed here over night while attending the Newborn Photography show at the Heart of England centre. The Jacobean was an amazing choice, we had a beautiful room, spent a lovely evening sat outside in the sunshine taking in the views & enjoyed a delicious meal. We plan on attending the show again next year so will definitely be rebooking The Jacobean for our stay!! Couldn’t fault it!

Lovely afternoon tea for Our cousins 50th birthday, The Sun was shining so that makes everything great anyway but I can honestly say the waitress was so pleasant and willing, No sooner had we drank the pots of coffee and tea she replaced them without any hesitation, sandwiches and cakes were all home-made and very fresh, I loved the white tablecloths too . Just like the old-fashioned Tea rooms you to get Years ago, A touch of shabby chic as well, so I can't wait for to pay another visit soon, thank you xx

User

Just had my 50th Birthday there, food was fab, the room and outside area was beautifully decorated, the staff were really helpful and very pleasant, would recommend anyone to hold a function there. Fantastic night thank you all .

User

I booked afternoon tea for me and my sister in law for her birthday yesterday, from the moment I rang to book to the moment we left the hotel they were amazing! Very accommodating, polite and couldn't do enough for us! The food was very yummy as well. Thank you to all the staff you're a great team x

User

Have been here many times it just gets better. Took some friends yesterday who had come up from London they were very impressed. Excellent food very generous portions. Excellent staff very helpful and polite

User

Had an amazing stay, room was lovely, very clean, bed very comfy, staff were brilliant, friendly and attentive, breakfast was good lots of choice, only thing and it's just a suggestion is a heater outside in the smoking area, on the whole a fantastic stay, would definitely stay again and recommend.

User

Great little city hotel, bit tired, “refurb is underway,” in places but the new rooms are very well presented, very friendly and accommodating staff, would I recommend, yes, definitely, £8.00 taxi into city centre.👍🏿

User

Didn't stay but came to the bar for food and have to say it was the best steak I've had in years hands down.

Will be back !!

User

Booked afternoon tea for 23 people to celebrate my parents 70th Platinum Wedding Anniversary. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were all so kind and helpful, the food was delicious and all served on vintage crockery. Special thanks to Paula who helped me set up the decorations, took family photos and kept the tea & coffee flowing. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for an amazing afternoon

User

Always a nice meal and pleasant staff never a long wait for food go once a fortnight after going to the white lion at allesley the last years with their rude bar staff and flat prosecco this place makes a real change lovely garden too with the horses relaxing

User

Absolutely love this place however , today we visited hoping to eat from the bar menu as we usually do yet no menu was available unless we had booked in the restaurant . No prior warning was given and no signs to say so . Really disappointed as we love the food , ambience and staff here ... please post something on fb if you plan to not serve food or intend to stop it at a certain time , many thanks for helping to make our previous visits enjoyable xxx

User

Absolutely fantastic service from the staff, nothing was too much trouble. Food very very nice and a menu that was ideal for our party. Many thanks experience enhanced the birthday party. Sure we’ll be back

User

Highly recommend

User

Stayed overnight for weekend with a group, well looked after by lovely staff the whole time. Loved the breakfast in morning, great choices. Lovely hotel and very clean rooms. Great outside gardens. Thanks for having us

Needed to stay the night before a residential training course at Warwick Conferences. OK so it's a bit tired in places but I had a nice stay. The room was clean and nice. The staff were friendly. I arrived after the kitchen had closed and the receptionist offered to make me a sandwich which I thought was very kind (I declined because I had eaten before I set off from Leeds but it was good customer service).

I woke to beautiful birds chirping and squirrels running along the fence. I wasn't too keen on the cooked breakfast but I'd stay there again.
