Omg if I could give you guys ten stars I would first time visiting today an literally blown away by the food tastier than I've ever tried whilst eating out we eat out a lot this is now my new fave place we will def be back very soon please keep doing whatever it is you guys do ...beautiful place amazingly fantastic home style food fantastic staff location is amazing too :)

Nice setting by the lock, helped by the sunshine at lunchtime, food took a while which was understandable as it was busy but well worth the wait.

My first visit last night with friends. Was very impressed. Food was excellent and staff very attentive. We were a party of 11 but all the food was piping hot and delicious. My steak was perfect, cooked just how I’d asked and so tender. Well done The Lock.

Great location and polite friendly staff, food some of the best pub food I’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend a visit here, it also seems a popular stopping off place for bikers and car enthusiasts

Each time I drive past this place its busy, so yesterday it looked quiet so we parked up, sat near the window and ordered lunch. The faggots were swimming with a fabulous gravy and were delicious, I had the steak and ale pie (thankfully i hadnt had breakfast!) A hearty meal!! My aunt had the fish pie, full of fish but a little on the dry side. Coffee was lovely. I think next time we will all choose the faggots!! We drank our coffee outside watching the narrow boats. Also a good place to take your dog.

Been there on numerous occasions and it just gets better and better. Food is outstanding, selection beers & ciders is excellent and the staff are always friendly. The location right by the cut is so relaxing. Highly recommend this lovely little pub.

Homemade delicious food sat by an open fire, The beef in ale pie was just a unbelievable portion of beef cooked to perfection and the lasagna was as good, if not BETTER than my Moms ( that’s extremely good)

A surprise cocktail party was organised for my birthday last night. We all had a wonderful night. The drinks and snacks were lovely. I would like to thank Tom for the attention to detail he made to make sure we all had a great night. Thank you x
