We have been coming here regularly for the last few years it’s amazing food and friendly staff, the lady behind the counter with short brown hair who I think is the manager is Lovely always so helpful

This was the first time we had been there .The bar and the restaurant are seperate.but only next door for the bar.You can see the food being cooked in the restaurant once you've ordered..I was pleasantly surprised by the cost of the food, we had lamb and chicken curry in croc pots , the meat was so tender and the sauce was beautiful .If you ask for popodoms when you go in they are free.They have a plentiful menu to suit everyones taste -they have lots of Enlish dishes for those who don’t like curry, healthy low fat options for those on a diet .A children’s menu with all their favourites.

Vegetarian options for those with specific dietary requirements.The food was well worth it and you got plenty I couldn't eat all mine though my friend did he wolfed it down.The staff were friendly and catered for all your needs.We will definately be going back to try something else

Not only is the food nice, which you expect when your paying for something, but it's the staff and attention that you get from these guys which really pleases me the most, which a lot of the time goes unrecognised, keep up the great work and serving that amazing food, see you again soon...

Only my second time here but chose this place for my daughter to sample her first curry . We all loved it and we will definitely be making this a regular night out .food was amazing X

Didn't look much from the outside but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked inside. The staff were really nice and friendly and the food was amazing. Really tasty and the naan bread was the best I've ever had. Will definitely be going again and taking my family with me. I will be recommending the New Talbot to friends.

Absolutely loved it.. the ambiance is so lovely. The food were cook perfect and tbe staff were all so friendly. I would definitely come back again to have some fine dining experience..

1st visit to The New Talbot food was superb my husband said his madras was the best ever!! Such reasonable prices too for both food and drink. We visited on a Monday without booking but I can’t imagine doing that at the weekend. Very impressed we will be back!!!

It was a busy night but the food was well worth the wait. Delicious and piping hot. Staff could do with being more confident.

Fantastic food and service, the only thing I can moan about is that you smell of a kitchen when you come out, but that's because it's an open kitchen so it's expected, will return anyway.

Service was ok and food was ok. Venue itself let's it down as very basic, food didn't have enough flavour! Shame as was really looking forward to it.

Not a terrible place, but just an okish meal nothing special I'm afraid to say
