Visited this place on Sunday Lovely meal and lovely staff. Really nice pub, good choice of food, reasonable prices. Some good deals on the food too

The nicest food served up in a long time,I hadn't been here in years as my kids all grown up,but came a few months ago for a change and I've got to say I've become a regular ,the staff are friendly and helpful,the best steak in town cooked to perfection and the atmosphere is lovely your made to feel welcome,i would recommend anyone to try a visit as you can't help but keep coming back � .

The family and I enjoyed an excellent meal here last Wednesday (14th March). I was impressed with the quality of food, and this seems to be a big improvement on my last visit here around six months’ ago. Well done to the Tardebigge, we will be back for more!

Our first visit but had been recommended by a work colleague. Came here on Saturday afternoon with the wife and Kids food was excellent service was great we all enjoyed our meals will definitely be revisiting *****

Haven’t been for a while but was pleasantly surprised food was great value for money and prompt. Will definitely be returning with my family

What a difference a new chef makes!!! Popped in, not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Had mini mixed grill, great value for money and well cooked (and it looked good)

I popped here with my daughter as she likes the wacky warehouse, we decided to have some lunch as we have not eaten for a while the menu is basic and not as much choice as before. I had sausage and mash which wasn't bad decent sausages although it was obviously packet mash nice thick gravy it was surprisingly filling my daughter decided on a children's meal burger and chips with sweetcorn which she enjoyed and left the chips as she was full up.

One bonus at time of writing if you go mon-fri get your food 1st spend £10 and your little one can get into the warehouse for free.

Went here for lunch on Tuesday my partner wanted sirloin steak but they didn’t have any, so he had medium rump. When the steak came it was so tough he couldn’t cut it with the steak knife, sent it back. Waited 20 minutes for another steak which was just about edible. The waiter who served us walked past us about 4 times and never once asked if it was ok. Even the Xmas tree looked as if the tinsel had just been thrown on. Will not be returning

Used to love coming here years back, but it's not good anymore and the last 4 or so times it's been atrocious. The last straw was when my daughter had the children's burger and chips... The burger was a leathery looking, dry, shrivelled thing in a bun with a tiny piece of white "lettuce" thrown on top... Yes white, not even the actual green leaf of a lettuce! It had no cheese or sauce in the burger either, so dry as hell. My son had sausages which I can only imagine had been microwaved or something as they were hard and again shrivelled up. I ordered a steak which I asked for rare but it was very overcooked and full of gristle. We didn't bother staying for desert and dont think we will be returning again sadly. Sort it out guys!!

Unfortunately this place has changed dramatically over the past 12 months and not for the better.

The menu is now shocking and the portions are even poorer.

Such a shame as this used to be a regular place of outs!

Long wait for food. Had to ask for childrens cutlery and spoons as none was brought out with there food. When we had desert we ordered the sundae but didn't come in sundae glass came in large bowl. When we asked for extra bowls for the children was told they would have to see what they could do as they didn't have enough bowls or cutlery. When desert was finished our tables hadn't even been cleaned of main plates. Alot of people complained about food being cold while we was there but ours was ok.

I have been 3 times recently and it has been a constant let down. The chef is obviously a novice, as the food is always of poor quality - not being able to cook a beef burger or bacon as a minimum.

Even though the place was empty today, we had to wait an eternity for any food, even the garlic bread starters.

The toilets are a disgrace, no toilet paper, well unless you count the vast majority of it all over the floor. Broken locks, broken toilet seats - overall not nice.

Such a shame as it has previously been a lovely place to go with the kids - now just very poor value for money and a disappointment on all fronts!

well its taken me 6 months to think about what to say so here goes.. 25 years of visiting watched all the changes Dawn and Barry leaving was the downward spiral for this place ..They took pride raised there kids there few changes some ok management but sorry they then started to treat the customers poor and in turn you could see the rapid staff turnover and how little the management respected them till in the end most of the long term staff finally threw the towel in... you see happy staff creates a decent atmosphere but when you treat them like S**T they soon realise there no longer a team player there just a wage earner..25 years of memories and some great meals thrown down the toilet because a company employs a bunch of amateurs who they call managers acting like its there personal playground.....place needs a new company to manage it a complete take over because lets all face it its a dead hole and the owners don't care its just a propert investment to them.. If they brought barry and dawn back the place would work again but with the current owners dream on this place will soon become a ghost pub like hundreds of others... R.I.P THE TARDEBIGGE..

I am really disappointed about the visit today!! I ordered orange juice and it tasted absolutely disgusting, when I mentioned it to who I guess what the manager running the bar she said that some people say that about our orange juice but it was freshly opened today. When I requested a new drink she was very rude and said it would taste exactly the same if she got me a new one because of my taste buds, when the other 6 people I was with agreed that it was disgusting and smelt like it was off!! I also requested a refund because they shouldn't be serving that and she said she couldn't give me a refund. When I said I was going to give a bad review she completely ignored me. I think if that's how you are going to deal with loyal customers you shouldn't be a manager who deals with complaints. I haven't even got onto the food I wanted curry but no where it the restaurant was it addressed that they had ran out so I ordered something else under pressure when it arrived it was cold and a lot of people in the restaurant at the same time were saying that there food was cold!!!

They also didn't have the desert I wanted and there was no apology.

I will not be going to this restaurant again after being spoken to like a piece of dirt!! And I won't be recommending it to anyone.

Arrived to an ice box as the heating was broken, no notices advising of this. We ordered at 7, food came just after 8, with the children's meals coming out last.... Despite being requested first. The food was luke warm, the garlic bread came with two squares of unrelated cheese on top, same with the chicken new yorker, cheese just put on top and not melted. We had to ask repeatedly for our sides, which one came when we had finished the main meal! Really not worth your time, much better places!!
