So a while back I was asked to do a casino cake - which I absolutely LOVED making...the first two images I was provided with for inspiration and the third is my creation....it is quite interesting when you look at attention to detail that i.e. the roulette wheel's numbers in one image are not correct (that actually does not matter at all as most people wouldn't even notice this and both cakes are lovely) but when you've worked in the gaming industry half your life and are asked to make a cake - well that's a different story... out came the ruler....

A while back I met and had the privileged to work with the MOST AMAZING couple from London to help design and make a "Halloween Wedding Cake" for them. I wanted to try and keep it simple yet classy as the wedding was at one of my favorite venues to work with Rowton Castle . April and Simon were kind enough to share their amazing video with me which features the cake and topper which was flown back from San Diego by me last year especially for the cake.

Gutted I didn't get any better images (will blame other half who took pics) as I had to set up at venue as delivery was in seperate tiers. I LOVED making this cake. I somewhat strayed from the original brief and pictures sent but stuck with the main theme.

A rather large #babyshower cake that went out in December. Hope they loved it.

I loved making this #celebrationcake for a very special little boy. Hope he had a fabulous birthday as always.

Yesterday me and my mum went to a cupcake bootcamp and it was fantastic, lovely and relaxing we came away with some truly beautiful and tasty cupcakes as well as feeling like we had learnt ALOT more than we were expecting. Laura was patient, funny and very good at teaching complete beginners. We are already looking at other classes with the Nuthouse bakery!

The best cake we have ever bought! And to make it better it's for our sons first birthday amazing and really good for the price!! I'd recommend Nuthouse Bakery to everyone

Spent a fantastic day yesterday at Cupcake Bootcamp. Laura is helpful and extremely patient. The day is very informal and relaxed. I picked up some great baking tips. I am looking forward to attending future classes.

Laura taught me in a wedding cake class today and I have never ever met someone so patient and so humble � she was so generous and calm and lead me to make the most beautiful cake I have ever made! Thank you Laura �

Laura is so friendly and such a great teacher. I was instantly at ease. The class was really informative, learned a trick or two I wouldn't have thought of. The cake that I made was beautiful, even though I never covered a cake before. Everyone was really impressed. The support you get afterwards is great too. Looking forward to my next course there.

I went to Laura's Cupcake Bootcamp at the Nuthouse Bakery on 16th April I had the most fantastic day I can now decorate cupcakes with confidence thanks to Laura. Great teacher everything provided including a lovely lunch can't recommended the course enough an opportunity not to be missed if you want to improve your decorating, sipmple but effective

I had a fantastic she was soo patient as I was a complete novice and even though I asked a few times she still told me over and over not loosing her temper she is a wonderful teacher and so enthusiastic about her work which rubs off on yourself it was a lovely fun relaxed day and I didn't feel at all rushed even though I was slower than the lady next to me I would deff recommend to anyone

I can honestly say I learnt so much and intend to make more cupcakes at home! I was so proud at how the cupcakes turned out and they were absolutely delicious!!!! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Firstly, laura is a great woman and very talented ! The cake we asked for was designed and decorated in a very professional manner. On top of that she added her own twist to the original recipe we asked for that made it taste way better ! xx
