With the kids going back to school this week, we'd love to hear your memories of school dinners. Over to you .....

User

A traditional village inn, with a warm welcome, great beer and honest, home-cooked food. Why not come in and try us this weekend.

User

Oooooh ...... 😁

User

It's all that Prosecco and gin!

User

Chilled reds. Yes or no?

User

Not long now! We wonder how many new gins we can discover at Lichfield Food Festival!

User

We are a great place to base yourself to explore the many attractions of Staffordshire and the surrounding areas.

User

Great food in a traditional country pub. What more could you ask for?

User

Whilst looking for somewhere to lose ourselves for a couple of hours, we came upon the Olde Peculiar and we were thrilled with Google’s suggestion...

Great friendly atmosphere and fantastic food - Cajun Chicken burger was amazing according to hubby which is high praise indeed .. will definitely be coming back!!

This a lovely friendly pub who serve a good and varied choice of meals. Always a good crowd in. And don't forget the quiz every 3 weeks with Graham. Around £200 raised every time. Give it a try

User

Lovely food and great service. Proper olde pub. Well worth a visit. The minted lamb balti and chicken tikka masala were lovely. The homemade crunchie cheesecake was to die for. And the other half said the bread and butter pudding was better than mine

User

It was lovely. We had breakfast for 13 people. It was warm, tasted great and there was toast, tea and coffee.

Will definitely go there again.

Oh and great host by the way.

User

I had my 50th birthday meal there last night ( 13th April) there were 13 of us. The food was lovely and each course was hot, correct and we didn't have to wait long before each course. Well done. Well worth a visit . Thankyou xx

Fantastic afternoon here today, Thursday 28th December 2017. My family all got together for a lovely meal. The fact that their wasn't an empty seat in the pub this afternoon, speaks volumes. The food is very delicious and a great choice of home made specials are available or you can pick from the menu. Their is also a fantastic few guest ales and ciders. The staff are fantastic and didn't stop! Fully recommended!!!!! I have previously given this pub a 5 star review and it still fully meets that rating!

User

Excellent pub with a great atmosphere the food was so nice I had the homemade OC burger and my father in law had the fish and chips both were equally as nice and the staff were really friendly and of course the beer was top notch, will definitely return next time we're chugging along the canal

User

As a sufferer of coeliac disease it was so refreshing to find a place to eat that had a good menu with clearly annotated gluten free options. This for me was enhanced by the fact that they had a folder detailing all allergy/intolerance details for each meal listed so I could order in confidence.

User

Very tidy both inside and out. Pleasant staff with a good beer selection and to top it all the food was very good. All round a recommendable package.
