Welcome to the Original Phil's Diner. The best shake, rattle and roll in town! From breakfast to burgers, from soda floats to shakes, our aim is to present you with a genuine experience and all of our food is available all day.
All our burger, chilli's, and macaroni cheese are handmade on the premises to ensure that what you chose to eat here is unique to us.
When you visit us all you will have to do is take a seat and enjoy our all new table service by our cheerful staff.
Whatever you chose to eat, all our food is cooked fresh to order. Please bear with us at extremely busy periods as there may be a short delay. Your waitress will advise you if this is the case.
In a hurry? Don't forget - almost everything on our menu is available as a take away. Feel free to call ahead on 01983 716770, and we will do our utmost to ensure that your order is ready and piping hot when you arrive to collect it.
We operate a strict 'customer happy' policy here at Phil's Diner. If you are dissatisfied with anything, for any reason, don't hesitate to point it out to us so that we can rectify the situation swiftly. Similarly, please let us know on ordering if you have any allergies or restrictions, or if there is something specific you require.
We believe that our diner offers a unique experience and excellent value for money, but we are fully aware that without your custom, it simply wouldn't exist. So thank you for choosing to eat and drink with us and we sincerely hope that your experience of Phil's is an enjoyable and memorable one.

Just to let everyone know, we are shutting at 4pm today, tomorrow and Friday due to some maintenance work we are having carried out. Thankyou.
We’re so sorry for the short notice folks but due to some unforeseen circumstances we will closed all day Thursday 26th July (tomorrow). Hopefully business as usual on Friday.

We’ve had an excellent meal at Phil’s Diner to celebrate my daughters birthday! There were 18 in our party and the Diner accommodated us perfectly! Food was just yummy!! Thank you to all the friendly staff �
Went on my birthday and had a great breakfast.. lovely friendly staff - highly recommended
Went on a Friday evening to take advantage of the kids eat free and 2 for 1 milkshake offers. Excellent value for money, great food and friendly staff.
Well I've been here a couple of times now and both times was great service and great food will definitely be back again...
Took a whole Brownie pack to Phil's Diner for freakshakes. They stayed open especially for us, and made over 30 freakshakes with military precision!
The ladies were fabulous and so were the freakshakes! �
The food is excellent, the staff are wonderful always smiling, the places is clean and tidy I always eat here if I’m in Newport I’m always recommending Phil’s Diner

Just stopped in for some take away fries and can honestly say they were the tastiest fries I’ve ever had on the island!
I loved the place and can't wait to return I had the big breakfast and it was great and the cherry milk shake was amazing

Great service, great food we had a selection of bits off of the menu including milk shakes and all was great really good food, at honest prices, may well become a regular weekend haunt!!

Fabulous choice on the menu, especially for breakfast which we enjoyed today. Cooked in front of you, served hot on hot plates. Very clean, and excellent service. Definitely the ‘go to’ place for breakfast out! It looks good for lunches & dinners too!

Wonderful milkshake as always. Lovely curly chips with cheese but the buffalo wings were too dry. They could've done with some Franks red hot marinade and a cool dip such as blue cheese.
