The Pavilion Description

Just minutes away from Birmingham city centre, The Pavilion provides the local community, businesses and sports teams with a unique environment for corporate and social events. This £4. 5 million purpose built facility combines modern contemporary interiors with a backdrop of lavish, green fields.

Serving the community for civil weddings, receptions, funeral wakes, private parties, dances plus family fun days, live bands and disco nights.

Corporate usage include conferences, seminars, educational courses, Christmas party's and team-building days. 18 hectares of space allows team competitions with 20 heated changing rooms with en-suite shower /toilets. Huge secure car-park plus on pitch advertising opportunities available.

Access to the Sports facilities is available to the community, schools and all local teams.

Such an amazing afternoon at The Pavilion today, where many people donated their time and money to raise money and awareness for the charity, Breast Friends. So far the monies raised has reached over £10,000. Thank you to all those involved, especially Linda and Levi whose efforts are nothing short of exceptional.

What a night!!!

I booked the Pavilion for my 50th Birthday party. The venue is excellent and the staff very helpful. Everything went perfectly to plan.

I have lost count of the amount of people who comment how great the room was and that it was one if not the best night out they had ever had.

Highly recommend this as somewhere to hold your party!

We attended the Christmas Party night on the 20th . We didn't know what to expect but we where very pleased :) it was a fab night. Firstly the bar manager Michael was very friendly. As where all the staff. We did a quiz and won hosted by DJ Tony he was great always had the dance floor full , played requests. The food was lovely and nice and hot. Drinks are a good price. The balloons that fly through the air were a hit . The venue is lovely and would be suitable for lots of events and has a nice plain base colour for decorating which I appreciate :) ww were given an extra free place for a soldier returning from Afghanistan which we appreciated. Thanks for a great night x

The perfect place for our wedding reception. Great sized room, dance floor and raised outdoor balcony area.

Lots of greenery for photos.

Staff were helpful and everything flowed really well from beginning to end.

Really nice venue. Everyone friendly...even the staff!! Never seen any trouble there. Nice, big balcony by dancefloor if you want to cool down or smoke, etc. Plenty of singles and couples and a good lady-gent ratio.

Over 30s and up. Well worth getting dressed up for!'

I had my first ever party here the venue was spotless , the party organiser and staff were amazing and so supportive beyond what they needed to be. The bar staff were helpful and so friendly and the security staff were the same even walking my older ladies to their cars . Thankyou all I definitely be spreading the news o and not forgetting a great Dj xxx Christine

Had our wedding reception at the pavilion on Saturday June 9th.

I honestly can’t put into words how blown away I was by this venue!! Everything about it is awesome! From dealing with the booking of the venue to the night itself, myself and my new wife were made to feel totally at ease. Sarah who dealt with our booking was/is simply amazing at her job! She kept us in the loop, answered any questions and simply had everything under control from start to finish. The centre management were also awesome, accommodating us wherever they could. The venue itself is huge! Way bigger than I anticipated if I’m honest! We was lucky enough to have amazing weather which gave us full use of the balcony. The bar staff were all polite and quick to serve, security were really helpful and friendly with everyone and fit in like guests really which was nice. I would one million percent use this venue again! The value for money is outstanding and honestly worth more when coupled with the people your dealing with. Lifts for elderly folks which is a really important and helpful thing to think about, clean toilet facilities.... there’s nothing much more I can say about the pavilion really! Just book it! You honestly will be blown away!

Had my little girls christening there yesterday and just wanted to say Thank you. All the staff were extremely helpful. This is the second time I have booked the room and I am sure I will be doing it again in the future x

Excellent event centre in Birmingham.we have worked there several times providing sound eqquipment and the venue staff are always friendly and curteous,well organised and a pleasure to deal with. Recomended for all your event needs

Went to spooktacular event, only gave 3* because the halloween tent was actually scary, otherwise it wasnt much good! Only a few rides, over priced & not enough to do, didnt stay for fancy dress comp or fireworks as was bored, so was only there about an hour! Was disappointed!

We finally booked our wedding back in October,after 2 failed meetings as staff members were not there when they was meant to be,and losing a day off work and childcare,the venue staff and events co-ordinator agreed to everything we wanted!So as far as we was aware our wedding venue/entertainment/decor was sorted!It was only in May that we found out off a friend that the events co-ordinator had left and a new one had taken over!I arranged an appointment which was then cancelled 2 hours before we was due to arrive,after booking a day off work and childcare!After an over the phone discussion we were told we could not have certain things we had agreed on,and the venue would not help dress the room in any way other than table cloths!After losing over £300 to a decor company and explaining our loss over the phone,there was still no sympathy or concern.We had no further choice but to look elsewhere with limited options due to time and budget!After agreeing to give us our deposit back 3rd July and accepting our cancellation no money has yet been sent to us,and not a single apology.If we hadn't have found out via our friend that Karen had left,how much longer would your new co-ordinator have left it until she got in touch?Our wedding is now 12 months away and we have lost deposits now due to having to cancel entertainment and catering.If I hadn't have called to arrange a meeting (which didn't happen anyway) would we have been left until next year to THEN find out our needs couldn't be met?It has made what was supposed to be an exciting time,nothing but stressful!And we are hundreds of pounds out of pocket,not to mention the days wasted off work trying to meet with staff.I would not recommend booking such a special occasion with The Pavillions,unless you want a bog standard service with no communication.It is such a shame as the venue itself is beautiful,and would have been perfect for what we wanted.We had our engagement party there over 10 years ago so it had a personal meaning also.Such a shame that the staff lack customer care and understanding,and do not communicate their customers needs between each other before agreeing to book something as big as a wedding.Very dissapointed and now very stressed trying to make back money which we have lost and organise things which were already booked.Would not even consider booking anything here again.
