One of the best "GastroPub" in Coventry, arguably the best. Place is cosy and comfortable, the food selections and its price are also reasonable. Great place to watch Football. 10/10 would recommend to others.

When your hungry the food here does the trick the pork meets beef burger was very good and the chips in the old white chipped metal enamel mugs was neat !

Visited yesterday afternoon with my son to celebrate his 2.1 from Cov uni. Nice wines and good selection of beers and bottles. Not overly expensive and friendly staff. Have been before and will be back again.

I always go here with my friend. We have a bottle of prosecco every time!! Or 2 .The food is also nice. We had a sharing platter last week very filling very nice.

I have to admit the new Phoenix looks polished up and is a very pleasant environment to enjoy time with friends there but what it makes a place exceptional is the service!! I arrived there yesterday around 10...after waiting couple of minutes in the bar I asked for one of them specials crafts after checking them we order two of them! All good until I asked for some food, the guy behind the bar says sorry mate the kitchen is closed...I said what time is closing, he goes 10, I checked my clock was one minute after 10...I asked could you please ask the kitchen staff to order is only a minute plus wasted 5 minutes unaware the kitchen was closing! He did not want to know...he said they have already turn off the kitchen obviously did not bother!! Sorry but if you want to claim you are the place to be in Coventry...please sort out your service and staff first!!

Had breakfast wasn't impressed with how it was cooked, mostly over cooked. Desert was very yum. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Walled in...saw it was over a fiver for a proper pint...walked out, went to whitefriars down the road and got 2 decent pints for 6 quid.

Rude, arrogant staff on the door. Wouldn't allow me in for wearing shorts on a steaming hot summers night. As I pointed out, this is a pub in Coventry, not a Chelsea Wine Bar.

Disgusting bully boys employed on the door assaulting my son who was sober watching his brothers stuff just come over having a go at him then 2 of them tried dragging him out another door way if it wasn’t for people seeing who knows what would of happened place is a joke need to review their staff cause I’m going to the police over this and speaking to a solicitor if it isn’t dealt with total jobs worth
