Went for the first time today & was really impressed with the cleanliness of the place despite it being very busy. The staff were just lovely & the food was freshly cooked to order. Will absolutely & definitely be returning!

We had our daughters 3rd birthday party here yesterday and it was fantastic! Nothing was too much to ask for, the girls that work there are lovely especially Kellie who would do anything to make sure the party ran smoothly. Would definitely have a party here again and will be recommending. Thank you girls x

We had an exclusive party for my 6 year old. It was fantastic! I was a bit reckless and booked it without ever having been, IтАЩd just seen photos. I was worried by some negative reviews on trip advisor about rude staff and dirty conditions but didnтАЩt have time to visit beforehand. I have to say it was really brilliant, the place was spotlessly clean and staff were incredibly friendly and couldnтАЩt do enough to help. The play equipment is such fun. IтАЩm so glad I booked it and we all agreed we would be going back. If you are considering it for a party do not hesitate. Awesome!

Was there today and saw a lady with three children that were hitting/grabbing other children, climbing the netting and trying to steal snacks/drinks. The mother was looking at her phone the whole time. I collared one of the children stealing and alerted the worker, she said "ive already told you twice" to the boy. She had to go and have a word with the mother who didnt appear to be that bothered because the unrully children continued to be unsupervised, unlike her phone.



The young staff member handeled this situation well and had i been in her position, I may have asked the lady to leave. The service was great as usual. We have also booked a 5th birthday party here for May.

This is the only play barn I will come to!

ItтАЩs well priced and lovely food! Staff are very friendly! My daughter had a big fall yesterday and the staff member came over with cold compression straight away and gave her a free lolly pop! I had my sons party here last year and i couldnтАЩt fault them! I would recommend this playpit for sure я┐╜

Really enjoyed coming back to PirateтАЩs play pit on Thursday after hearing that it was under new management and had had a bit of a face lift. The staff were friendly and helpful, food was good and everything was clean and welcoming-my children didnтАЩt want to leave!

My girls had a lovely time here today, the staff was nice and friendly, the food was lovely, it was nice and cool with the air con, which is what we need in this weather. It has been a great day out, my girls didnтАЩt want to leave.

Me and my 2 girls have been twice and couldnt fault it at all. We did try to come to the paw patrol event but understandably it was packed! Each time we have been the play area has been cleaned, the tables have always been clean and the staff really helpful and polite. The food came out rather quickly and we didn't have to wait long at all and it was delicious. The toilets were clean and well stocked. This is the only playbarn i enjoy bringin my girls to as its great value for money especially with the meal & entry deals! Had a look at the party prices too and they are reasonably priced for what you get!! Will defo be comin back without a doubt!!

Only other one I've been to is pirates and princesses which I find oddly set out and cold. Much better here but I'm yet to try jungle land :p Only suggestion would be to be stricter with the age limit on the baby play area, maybe a gate.. So you haven't got older kids knocking over the little ones.

I came here today and have to say that the new owners have done a great job. The place is cleaned to a high standard and it doesn't have the unpleasant smell of the fryer that it had previously when I used to visit with my older lad. My 2 year old loved it and I like that I can see him wherever he goes. Staff are very pleasant. Highly recommend the toddler deal as it's great value for money. Will definitely be coming here regularly again from now on x

Had my son IsaacтАЩs 5th Birthday party here yesterday. Thank you to the two ladies working during the party, couldnтАЩt of gone any better considering there were 14 children and plenty of adults to cater for as well as other customers too! Isaac said it was the best party ever! я┐╜

Friendly and helpful staff. The place is an ideal size for kids up to about 6 years old, so brilliant for little ones to run around without being overwhelmed by bigger children. Coffee and foods good too.

The only play pit we will use. Use it regularly. Reasonable prices. Although yesterday when we visited it was freezing and I kept my coat on the whole time there

The play area is good (for my 3 year olds) as is the food.

However, pricing not transparent or options explained and the place was ABSOLUTELY FREEZING, only one working toilet (and at least 3 of us had to ask for toilet roll before it was replaced) and miserable staff.

All in all, though, I'd give it another try before writing it off.

Hi I just wanted to leave a post to say how disappointed I was in the pirate pit on Monday, I must say after having been before on many occasions and my son loving it and never having a complaint I feel this needed to be said.



I couldn't honestly believe how much this place has gone downhill in cleanliness. Me and my son and his friends arrived before lunch and the pit wasn't overly busy or parties running, but the pit smelt bad, and not the were frying chips in the kitchen and all play areas have a similar smell but it smelt bad in a moldy rotten kinda way.



The carpet are now at the point where I actually wouldn't recommend my children take their shoes off to walk around in any more, they need a deep clean and please don't think I'm being too dramatic, I'm aware they're normal ware and tear and children spill crisps on the floor etc, but this uncleanliness must have taken months to get like this.



The toilets were not clean or sanitary. Again I'm sorry but I think you need a deep clean.



I felt that a lot of corners had been cut to save money and now the pit bordering on the poverty look (ketchup was watered down, cups were dirty, the oil on the chips smelt fishy) to be honest normally I I would stay a few hours and allow the kids a good run around but we were out within in the hour and that was only to allow them to eat some food and have a run around.



All this sounds terrible I know and it's truly not personal but I feel you should know.



My son has enjoyed many a good birthday party here and play dates and I hope you get this back. But currently your standards have gone and really needs to be looked at.

Children loved it here but unfortunately I felt the organisation of its operations were terrible. Out of stock on many things...which I feel are essential to the cafe....sweetners, mayo, ketchup, no servettes etc. Therefore, as a diabetic I only had the option to have sugar or not and didnt enjoy my hot drink.



Menu stated 4 chicken nuggets but only came out with 3, lady got my order wrong (but I'm guessing I've been charged for it.)



And to boot on a half term busy day staff seemed to be busy chatting in the back than to be clearing away tables, which should be a priority when new customers arriving constantly.

My last visit wasn't impressive and I was hoping it had improved. Still much more to improve on...

Came today with 3 children, 7 months, 5 and 8 years. On first impression there was no staff. It turned out 1 was cooking and 1 poor young girl who was desperately trying to do everything else. It was busy and there were parties booked. Tables were full of dirty crockery and in the time we were there the tables were not cleaned once. The whole place needed a good clean.

There was also the matter of only having 1 working toilet. Small children were having to wait in line which isn't fantastic if you have a child potty training.

The other issue was also how cold it was in there. It was absolutely freezing.

I wouldn't recommend a visit unless it gets a good overhaul.

Went to a party yesterday here and because the place was absolutely dead the shut all the kitchen up and only made food for the party! Adults were not going to eat before the children! We asked to order food at 5 oтАЩclock and the staff said the kitchen was shut we then read on the menus that the kitchen shuts half a hour before the place shuts and if we was gunna order food it needed to be by 5:30! The young girl behind the desk couldnтАЩt have been any more apologetic as she wasnтАЩt allowed to serve us as the owner who was no where to be seen said to shut everything up! Would definitely not recommend to a friend!!

Staff are so rude all they do is sit there eating drinking on there phones watching people.. very cold inside .. smells like deep fat fryers and need a serious clean!! instead of standing around they could be doing a lot more. Needs make over and definitely needs a deep clean and a word with the staff.
