Warm and welcoming pub. Great atmosphere with a good honest community feel. Serving outstanding selection of cobs and offering wide selection of ales-the best in Tipton for a pint.

Really nice pub all the staff nice a very good variety of real ales at very reasonable prices cheese and onion cobs and ham tomato cobs superb couldn't ask for or find a better pub anywhere

Paid my first visit last night after moving to the area this week. Very impressed with the range and quality of ales, the traditional feel of the pub and the friendly atmosphere, I'll definitely be back.

One of my favourite pubs in the Black Country. Really old fashioned feel with friendly regulars, an amazing and well kept selection of ale and some sort of time/space portal into the beer garden, transporting you from noisy Tipton into somewhere quiet and relaxing to enjoy a great pint with friends!

We always have a good night at the rising sun everyone friendly .. Entertainment every week we love to see live artists . partner loves the real ale. and its just round the corner which is a bonus keep up the good work
