Very Impressed. Attended the IQ concert (05/05/18) with my daughter in her wheelchair and everything was near perfect, aside from one idiot photographer who thought it would be good to keep sticking his camera in front of her view to get his shots! Not that should distract from the venue, which is near perfect for any band with a modest following (c700 people).

User

Top venue, great bands, great sound system, Air-con, fantastic selection of beers, ciders, lagers & soft drinks, tasty food & the best venue staff anywhere in the UK.

User

One of the best venues in the Midlands. Easy to park, stage is high so all can see, very rarely have I seen any trouble or piss heads disturbing the enjoyment. They also ha e adequate and effective security. Even a guy on the car park. Now that is customer service.

User

Great venue always try and see a band at least once a month. Something for everyone with the very best tributes and original bands. Friendly staff and fantastic sound and lightning engineers.

User

Great atmosphere , good music , good prices for drinks , you should go !

User

Good venue made better by watching steve hill then king king

User

First time at The Robin 2 last night to see the fabulous Quill. I liked the venue very much, a lovely friendly atmosphere and so cool on such a hot summer's night. Seemed to have it all, good music, food and drink all readily available, with the added bonus of close proximity to the live act. Will definitely return.

User

Brilliant place to see bands- great atmosphere and beer good price.Saw Los Palomios there last night - as fantastic as ever

User

Been there lots of times to see lots of different bands now. Can get a bit rowdy if it's packed like when we saw Bad manners ! But all in all it's great ! Cheep beer good staff. Love the place. Hotel is convinient to if you don't want to drive aswell, basic but convenient.

User

Always a great night, great live music whether it's a tribute or the real thing, drinks reasonably priced and crowd always up for the night, been to quite a few gigs and always enjoyed them all

User

A wide range of live acts covering all genres. Many are big names. It can get very busy, particularly at weekends. There is a good sound system. Hot food is available at the bar at good prices. There is a free public car park to the rear and others nearby. Always a good atmosphere and the staff are friendly. You can save a couple of quid by booking in advance. You can also stay overnight at the hotel above but I can't comment on that as I haven't stayed there. I love the place.

User

The venue is easy enough to find parking close by..

This is the 2nd time we paid to see the Singer & his band at this venue. Thankfully, this time the seating was far better organised with some tables & chairs set up at the front allowing clear vision instead of struggling with taller individuals blocking the view..

The downside was that whilst queuing in the lobby for over an hour, there wasn’t the same facility of the coffee bar!

User

Half decent venue beer is over priced and floor is always sticky but they do get some real good artists on

User

Good atmosphere but for the second gig I have been to recently, ELO tribute and Counterfeit Stones, the lead singers on both occasions were “ drowned out” by the band....in other words I couldn’t clearly hear them singing or talking. All of my friends who accompanied me said the same. Shame because it took the gloss off two very accomplished bands.

User

A good venue, only criticism would be that seating needs to be moved away from the far walls and centred in the area in front of the artist when ticket sales aren't above 100. The room looks empty when the artist comes on, awful for them. Likewise the room would benefit from having the option to curtain sections off to make the roon look smaller for gigs with low ticket sales. Good stage and good sound though.

User

Its a great venue and the drinks are fairly priced BUT the Gents toilets were out of order. Its bad enough its a steep trek upstairs to get to them.Had to queue for the disabled toilet along with half a dozen other blokes. They need a loo downstairs (that works)

User

Great venue for punters not great for the bands. Stage and sound are great (sound engineer is a top bloke) but bands aren’t treated well. I work crew for a well known tribute band and the rider was 8 bottles of beer and 12 bottles of water which we were charged stupid rates for. Plus three pizzas were delivered which we did not order yet were charged £50 for them. Bar prices are over the top, £3.80 for a pint of manky fosters? No thanks. A lot of money was taken on the door yet they hit you with so many extortionate fees you walk away with a pittance.

My advice to bands? Take your own beer and water and tell them to shove the pizza up their arse!
