we went here for the kids Halloween party sunday 29th October we all had a great time keep up with the good work you do a good job all about making the kids happy looking forward to the kids xmas party we shall be there thankyou very much for making my child happy x lovely and clean place well worth the visit

lovely owners and lovely decor always helpful and polite looking forward to visiting with friends and family and the events we have planned through the year for the Teens cancer Unit QE what a lovely pub and nice to see a children friendly one too where families can enjoy quality time :-)

i usually go in there with family or friends but when i do it's a really lively , welcoming place. the kids room is great! i've been going in for years seen gaffers come and go but Tina and Jay are by far the best i've seen.

Well done Sarah and Glen had a great couple of hours in the lounge tonight good luck for the future and we hope to become regulars down there again it's been a long time

This is a cracking pub with bostin landlady and landlord make you feel very welcome always enjoy my nights there. Lots of success for the future you two xxx

The royal oak. Is at a great place for a beer and a catch up with friends.. week ends are fab with lots of different singers on. And best of all families are very welcome. The new management are doing a fabulous job.

The new management are doing a brilliant job. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm and friendly. The entertainment has been top class. You should all come along and give them your support.

Superb pub with a great atmosphere. The new landlords are doing a great job. A great night was had by all.

My name is snipper, the new gaffer's are brilliant, I live in portobello but is it possible to get some cheaper lager as I am unemployed and can't come in as regular as I would like

I think it shame the management are coming out as they have changed it got the drugs out well done to them and let's hope the new management can keep the drugs out

Hadn't been to the Royal Oak for years, very impressed indeed, the staff very friendly and helpful, function room quite a decent size.

Had my baby shower at the Royal Oak and I couldn’t thank Tina enough for her help and hospitality.. staff are so friendly and the room was spotless and smelt amazing ���

Had my daughters 21st party here on sat 21st October the room was lovely and spacious to cater for quite a few also staff were lovely Tina the landlady was very helpful and drink prices very reasonable. The only thing that I can fault was disabled assess as my daughter is special needs and there were a few wheelchairs but they did get in but think a ramp would be helpful but overall I would recommend this pub and landlady and def have a party there again

Had an awesome nite with Missled playing.brill room and excellent management and bar staff would recommend to everyone ☺
