Wonderful service and a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious, best steak I've had in a long time and the portion sizes were fantastic! Highly recommend!

We were camping at dodwell park this weekend and found the pub.we went in everyday as the staff were more than welcoming and couldnt do enough for us.really recommend the food.especially the sunday lunch.the kids enjoyed playing darts and pool.very child friendly.thank you�

Popped in today for a Sunday roast and can honestly say it was the best roast I have ever eaten!! It tasted so fresh and was cooked perfectly the Mediterranean veg was absolutely beautiful! Would highly reccomend to anyone looking for a good roast at a reasonable price and such friendly service ☺️��

Much needed drink after a long muddy walk, the bar man was very welcoming.

Lovely pub very dog friendly, separate dog free dining area, and dining area you can have your dog, Heather and Anthony always have a warm welcome for all

Jut had a gorgeous handmade roast both me and my son loved it! Lovely food!

Just had a fabulous meal, and several great pints of Landlord. Fantastic and friendly service, excellent menu, we will definitely visit again, . Thank you �

Had my 60 birthday party there on Saturday great night great food and music too. Recommend it for a drink meal and lovely staff.

Great pub, friendly staff and very obliging, couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Definitely would visit again. Many thanks

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice food and very reasonably priced. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic pub and staff. The food is excellent and all homemade. Hugely under rated pub.

Attentive bar man and well cooked food at decent prices is all you look for in a pub and this establishment nailed it. The whole family enjoyed their food and surroundings. We will recommend this pub and will return if we are holidaying in the area again.

Always a pleasure to visit - friendly staff and great atmosphere.

We must have copped them on a bad day. We didn't get the warm welcome that everyone else's review seems to mention. We'd done a five mile walk and we're starving. GOOD FOOD ALL DAY claimed the numerous boards outside the pub. So having orders our pints we asked for the menu, to be told no food til after 6pm. great. Knocked back the £7 for two pointless drinks and headed to the next pub down the road. All I'm saying is, at least put a sign on the bar eh?
