Germany fell to Mexico in their opening match, with mexico carving up the German midfield on the counter. Now, Joachim Low has had ample time to make the adjustments needed to go for victory as the Germans take on Sweden as they chase a spot in the knockout stages among Group F.

Ordered the steak but didn’t want mushrooms/ tomatoes / onion rings/ etc and asked if I could have an egg. The fact the bar staff not only have to spend 3 minutes explaining that eggs cost money , but also approach managers to still be told that the eggs are 60p is a joke ...

I did change my mind on leaving a one star rating though as the Manager was very open to feedback on my experience and dealt with my issue fairly and respectfully. The food was also very tasty so I just hope you take my honest feedback on board

I think the pub is very confused on what it wants to be. The food we had was very nice the service was good and the price was ok too. However there was no place quiet to eat the music was far to loud and the tables are not very well placed. Every one seemed on top of each other. Live music seemed ok. Im not sure if i wud go bk it was a very odd experiance. I could figure out if i was in a pub a sports bar a live lounge or a resturant. Very odd.

Took the whole family there for a meal on the 29th March. Had no trouble finding a table. The meal was not too bad either. Getting up to the bar to order your drinks and ordering food was very difficult as large groups of youths standing at bar drinking their drinks instead of sitting down at the table provided. Took over 30 minutes to order 4 drinks. Meals as I said were good but portion sizes are a little sparse. Oh and forget the custard portion for £0.69. The amount you get is a joke. I had steak and with it I got the steak on a bed of mainly uncooked onions a half of tomato which looked half cremated and a small bowl of chips. The meal sizes have halved in a year. Don’t think we will be eating there again, it’s ashame as it use to be a great place to eat.

Ordered southern fried chicken but what arrived tasted nothing like southern fried. I asked the bar staff to check our order which was correct but he insisted on coming to the table to see the food. At the table he proceeded to state the food was correct. I told him it wasn't. Moments later he came back with the waitress who brought our food who also insisted the chicken WAS southern fried! I regularly have food at local sizzler pubs and I KNOW what southern fried chicken tastes like. The waitress told us we could have 1 meal refunded because it was partly eaten. In the end both were refunded but I doubt we will go back anytime soon.
