Very relaxing, great staff, food was gorgeous. Had all three lunch courses. Very good value. The interior is cosy and snug with a fab bright but not too hot tiled conservatory. Really enjoyed the birthday treat here after the Express and Star reviewed it so well. Sat outside for a coffee in the sunshine after a leisurely lunch and had a look at the chickens. Perfect venue for us. Will try the evening menu next time, just because we want to come back. It's about 20 miles from us but next time we're going to book a room as well. Loved it x

However the breakfast was fantastic and all the staff made us feel very at ease and very welcoming. Room was lovely and the mattress and I were definitely the best of friends - one of the best night's sleep I think I've had! Will definitely be returning to sample more of the menu. Thank you.

One night stay we had an evening meal ( rump steak ) this was the best steak I've had in any restaurant in a long time. Bar prices good with plenty of beers wines & spirits for everyone's taste. The bed was so comfortable then to finish off our stay the breakfast was excellent x staff were welcoming & very accomodating. 5* service.

Lovely tranquil location. Food is excellent and waitress was exceptional, service with a smile. Will definitely visit again soon. Happy Party of four ��

The food was excellent and and cooked to perfection, we felt so relaxed and contented that it was a shame we had to leave and carry on with the day, just the two of us on this trip but we will be back with family and friends for sure. Mixed grill mains (We like our portions) excellent ... not a typical thrown together mash of meat. Every part top quality and perfectly cooked (Hint chef cooks rare so great for me but if you pink to grey go beyound medium rare.)

My partner had the cajun burger and it was beyond a burger you would normally get.

Real ales cock on and great choice of spirits. Pleasure to see a Remy Martin XO on offer. Definately be eating there again.

Stayed for one night only on this occasion and went out with friends in Bridgnorth so unfortunately didn't get to sample the full menu. However the breakfast was fantastic and all the staff made us feel very at ease and very welcoming. Room was lovely and the mattress and I were definitely the best of friends - one of the best night's sleep I think I've had! Will definitely be returning to sample more of the menu. Thank you.

One night stay we had an evening meal ( rump steak ) this was the best steak I've had in any restaurant in a long time. Bar prices good with plenty of beers wines & spirits for everyone's taste. The bed was so comfortable then to finish off our stay the breakfast was excellent x staff were welcoming & very accomodating. 5* service.

If I could give more stars, I definitely would! I highly recommend this place as the location, the restaurant and the food is absolutely stunning. I can't recommend this place enough, it is defibagely the best place to eat in Shropshire by far! The customer service high quality and they make sure that everything is perfect from arrival to departure. I can't quite completely bent it enough and would like to thank everyone for such a great experience.

Have driven past this place a number of times but never had chance to stop. While having a day off decided to call in and was really surprised with how stunning the place is, we sat in the conservatory and had a glorious view, also greeted by efficient, friendly, welcoming staff. The food was excellent and and cooked to perfection, we felt so relaxed and contented that it was a shame we had to leave and carry on with the day, just the two of us on this trip but we will be back with family and friends for sure. So happy we had called in and can put another brilliant place to eat on our list, thanks!

Had fantastic stay was made to feel very welcome by all staff plenty of choice for breakfast and had a fantastic evening meal. Room was nice.hotel not far from town would stay here again

Had an excellent lunch today. Excellent food, ideal portion sizes and cooked to perfection. Delicious. Nice menu choices with something for everyone at very fair prices. Comfortable, tastefully decorated surroundings. Will definitely return and can highly recommend a visit. Customer service was also excellent. A very good experience all round.

Visiting for first time (Why 1st time I have no idea now) for my stepsons birthday.

Excellent meal, hospitality and real ales.

Crab starters tasty fresh and perfect.

Mixed grill mains (We like our portions) excellent ... not a typical thrown together mash of meat. Every part top quality and perfectly cooked (Hint chef cooks rare so great for me but if you pink to grey go beyound medium rare.)

My partner had the cajun burger and it was beyond a burger you would normally get.

Real ales cock on and great choice of spirits. Pleasure to see a Remy Martin XO on offer. Definately be eating there again.

Amazing, really bloody enjoyed that trip out. Been itching to stop and have something to eat here. From what I’ve had today, I’ll be coming back to eat again! The pub itself looks so warm and amazing inside. Keep up with the good service and work!!
