Despite the Bank Holiday rain we managed a full BBQ menu thanks to our fantastic staff new griddle from Advantage Catering! The kitchen is open until 7 tonight and we are serving lunch 12-2 tomorrow

Great show from The Red Arrows this afternoon!

In Folkestone for the Red Arrows display this afternoon? We've got a large beer garden and the morning memorial fly past just went straight over us so we assume you'll have a great view! Plus we have Irish folk music from Fair Isle 3-5pm!

We booked a bbq here in the garden for my mum's 60th. Everything went very smoothly, food was lovely and the venue was perfect. Couldn't fault it at all!

Visited yesterday for Mother's Day. So glad I came, the pub was very clean and although very busy we were seated with our drinks and our orders were taken promptly. I had the lamb shank it was perfectly cooked, my partner had the beef and said it was amazing too. All the staff are pleasant warm and welcoming. Our waitress was a lovely young lady who was well presented with a Bubbly welcoming manner. She recommended the cheese cake for desert and she wasn't wrong it was lovely and really complimented the meal. The restaurant was busy and it was nice to see all staff working together to make everyone's experience worth it. Will definitely be a repeat visitor to this establishment. Thank you to my lovely waitress for you impeccable service and to the sweet manager for the bar service. Excellent all round

Visited the valiant Sailor last night to see the entertainment. Very friendly and welcoming pub. The staff were all friendly and I would be happy to return for another fantastic evening.

Under new management this pub was really welcoming! Great drinks and the food was really great! Sunday roast dinner today was delicious. Great atmosphere, nice beers on offer and great people !!

Today’s roast dinner was one of the best roast dinners EVER!! Absolutely everything made from scratch (including the stuffing!!!) and all locally sourced produce!!



Cannot fault the food or establishment in anyway, will definitely be a repeat customer!

There were 10 of in on a girlie weekend we booked to have a meal there

On our way to our accommodation. The table was ready we were greeted by very friendly staff. A few of us had steak it was the best steak I have ever had everyone said their meal was superb food and service was first class. Would highly recommend this venue. Although there were 10 of us the meals came out very quickly and Hot

The pub is being run by a by a charming woman who makes you feel very welcome and is a breath of fresh air all the local people are now returning to a warm and friendly atmosphere well done Emma

The new management are doing amazing, I've not seen the Valiant this busy or lively in a very long time!

Four of us popped into the Valiant, last night, along with 5 children, aged 11-15, and two dogs. We were met with a friendly welcome and a buzzing atmosphere. It is so lovely to see the pub busy again. Band on tonight, so we may be back! Well done Emma for your continued effort to bring our pub back to life. �

Exceptional Sunday Roast in front of a roaring log fire....... perfect.

Fresh vegetables, home made Yorkshire puds and melt in your mouth roast beef was delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Took grandaughters and wife for lunch. Sat in the garden so kids could play. Staff attentive and good. Food good and a pleasant spot to eat lunch.

Will visit again. �
