Went here tonight for my Grandsons 7th Birthday, there was 9 of us in the party. food was fab so much choice. Staff was amazing VERY VERY child friendly. They brought his cake out and all stood round us singing happy birthday. Made his day. Will definitely be returning again.

My kids first time here and they can't wait to come back! They especially loved the Ice cream selection and wanted to try them all!

Went to the Venue today, party of 14 for my wife's birthday.

Food was very nice , good choice of food and freshly cooked.

Prices for the lunchtime are excellent , cant see why the price goes up so much at night , you can only eat so much food after all . Would go back again, staff were helpful and some good choices for the kids aswell ..

I hadn't been here in a long time but came last night to celebrate my son's 21st....The staff are friendly and helpful and told us our table was ready when we were so we didn't feel rushed...The good was nice although a few dishes were not too warm...we was surprised to see the ice cream bar instead of the lovely desserts they used to do although there were over 40 flavours to pick from however, what they fail to tell you on their website that although it's a help yourself buffet you are limited to one single bowl of ice cream and can only pick 3 flavours...There are waffles but they are not included in the price. ..feel we'd been cheated a bit. ..The experience overall was okay but don't think we shall be returning anytime soon

Just been for a famiky birthday meal. Food was lovely but was not comfortable having staff hanging around our table watching us eat. Couldn't wait for us to finish something before rushing to remove our plates.

Then the drink. I only had diet pepsi and it tasted and smelt like funny.

Booked the club classics package for a work party for 18 of us and overall a fun night but food was cold and the spirits were over priced and then the drinks upstairs in party room were cheaper than the drinks with the meal...would pay on the door again to dance but wouldn't do the package again

Went here for Valentines Day...disappointed with the food, there was no atmosphere in the place whatsoever so didn’t feel like it was the most ‘romantic’ day of the year atall. Staff handed out roses which looked like they were ready to die of thirst �. Also, the dessert offered is only ice cream...but you have to pay extra if you want any of the cookie dough or cakes so not happy with that. It’s local to us and we have been here before and enjoyed it. But after yesterday’s visit have decided would never go again. �

However after recommendations that it had been modernised and had a real pudding by we decided to make a return and what a disappointment!!! Decor and cleanliness second to none, staff were friendly and happy to help. These are good points, now for bad!!! Food was cold, everything was overly spiced, selection was mainly Indian cuisine (I love Indian but would have gone to an Indian restaurant if that's what I was after) for two adults and a child it cost me over £50 Inc drinks. That did not Inc puddings which are an extra cost. For the money I am hugely disappointed and unfortunately would not be returning.

All the salad was brown, the raw meat looked sticky and smiley, none of the food was warm.

We visited here yesterday lunch time. Very disappointing, very poor food choice , food cold, no burger buns for kids burgers.Waited ages for staff to take drink order the resturant was empty and no staff to be seen. For over £50 for 2 adults and 2 children very expensive for all of us to end up with upset stomachs! We wont return.Such a shame as loved this place , gone down hill.

Visited tonight and we were really disappointed. The waiter tried to rush my husband into ordering a drink. He kept saying 'Have Carling, Yes' when he was looking at the drinks menu. The food was very mediocre. Chips were lukewarm and the Indian chicken curry was really spicy. Very poor choice compared to what they used to serve. The curries were very watery too. The place completely lacked atmosphere. I went up for dessert and was told can have 2 scoops of ice cream. Server was very rude to myself. I was looking at the gelato flavours and he snapped at me and said you can't have that it's not included. I chose 2 normal ice cream flavours and he said sharply to me to 'get a bowl'. He basically threw the ice cream in my bowl and was very unpleasant. Years ago the staff were all lovely. I don't know what's happened. We used to visit regularly for staff nights out with the council and NHS as well as with my family, but I can honestly say I will never return. I hope you shut down!

(If you want desserts other than icecream you need to pay extra) Staff look miserable and have no customer service skills. Booked a table for 8th December for our works Christmas party ...unfortunately due to weather conditions 6 of us couldn't get there ...no fault of our own but have been informed that we can't get a refund it's company policy ...at 28.95 per person that's 173 70 in total for absolutely nothing ....gesture of goodwill comes to mind ...at one point I was told that most people made it that night ..oh .ok so I'm lying!!...I didn't ask for all money back they could have kept the deposit or even a voucher but was told NO..Nothing ..

So please beware when booking ....

Am absolutely fuming ..is this the way to run a business ...I don't think so ......

After attending The Venue tonight i was very disappointed with the food. Chicken was undercooked and I was told by a manager its ment to be pink due to where it was on the chicken. I then went up and got a burger and it was also raw again complained to the managment and nothing was done.

I will never go there again as its disgusting and as for the all you can eat since they have had a refurb you can only have 2 scoops of ice cream if you want anything more you have to pay extra.
