Tattoo Dave is doing a BBQ weekend on Friday the 29th, Saturday the 30th and Sunday the 1st of July at the Volunteer Inn! Bouncy castle will be out and no other food will be served that weekend. Come and enjoy a burger and a hot dog in the beer garden☀️🌭🍔🍻

The bank Holiday weekend is approaching and the weather is looking good open fri 5 until late food from 6-9 Saturday 12-3 5-late food 6-9 Sunday lunch served 12-3 and bank holiday Monday 12-3 food served 12-3 . Going to put the Bouncy castle up free to use so come along let the kids be entertained and eat , drink and be merry , hope to see the Volly come alive and maybe a song or two from Georgia, Charlie and Dave

The Volunteer Inn is pleased to announce that under new management ‘The Prosser Family’, we have a new young chef called Jazz starting on the 28th of April!
We will then be doing food on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Sunday lunches will be available from the 29th of April and are pre bookable as well as walk ins.
The menu will be posted shortly so keep an eye out! It includes pub classics such as fish and chips, lasagne, steak and more.... Starters, mains and desserts available.
It would be lovely to see some support from the local community in this new venture of ours!

Due to lack of ticket sales we’ve had to cancel this event, sorry for anyone planning to come but we didn’t have enough commitment.

We will be open at 5pm tomorrow Thursday 5th April quiz starts at 7pm so come and test your general knowledge or just pop in for a drink

Pop along this Thursday night and have a go at our quiz! Teams of up to 4 people, £5 a team.

Lovely roast dinner in a beautiful country pub. Staff all welcoming and polite, with very reasonable prices. Compliments to the chef �

Lovely friendly welcome from the bar staff. Sunday lunch was delicious compliments to the chef. Will definitely be going again.

Lovely Sunday roast with family and friends. Wonderful warm welcome from bar staff. Lovely atmosphere. Look forward to going again soon.

Brilliant Sunday carvery plenty of choice on meats, vegetables and condiments. Lovely relaxing atmosphere in the bar, warm and cosy could quite easily stayed a bit longer. Xmas day lunch please!!
