Bob and The Waterloo Hotel would like to offer our condolences to the Webbe family. Lynette was a much loved member of the Pill community and her passing has left us all shocked and saddened.
Thoughts are with her friends and family as shes laid to rest today.

We are thrilled to announce that the restaurant at The Waterloo Hotel has been leased to an old favourite of The Waterloo Hotel, Dickie Flinn and his new team.
Dickie, being one of the original chefs who helped us set up the restaurant has now taken a step up the ladder opening Anderson’s At The Waterloo Hotel.

What a wonderful place for a gorgeous meal. The chef is very talented.

We visited for Sunday dinner recently with our two children. Food was really good and it's very reasonably priced. Staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help.

We had our wedding reception here six years ago and revisited today for the first time, for mother's day lunch. Then, and now, the food and service was absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to call back at Easter. Superb.

The Waterloo Hotel was fine. More important was the company: Di and her lovely cousin. We laughed a lot.

Thanks to Bob, Teri, Lisa and all of the team at the Waterloo for making our wedding on New years eve a memorable and spectacular event. The food was amazing, atmosphere warm and friendly, rooms immaculate and the staff couldn't have worked any harder! All of our guests commented on what a great hotel it was and how good a time they had. Well done and thanks to the Waterloo Hotel!

My first visit to the Waterloo this evening, at first I was slightly unsure of this place, but as soon as I walked in that changed, lovely stafff and great food. Would definitely recommend this place and won’t be my last visit �

Lovely Hotel, Large, comfortable well kept rooms, always greeted with a smile and friendly relaxed atmosphere, The food here is fabulous, can't fault the menu and quality of the meals, Definitely making it a regular place to stay.

I went to the Waterloo for the first time a few weeks ago and I was absolutely blown away by the amazing choice and variation of food.

I could have happily ordered everything!

I had a meal at The Waterloo when it first opened, it wasn't so great so I didn't go back. We had some friends over from New York, so it's always difficult to please Manhattanites as they are so spoiled. The Waterloo was equal distance from where we live and where they were staying, so we took a chance. We had a lovely warm greeting as if we were long lost friends, had a drink at the bar while we ordered our food. We were sat when the starters were ready. Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked and served with a smile. I regret not having giving it a second chance until now. I shall be back soon!

From the moment we first started to talk to Bob, Teri and Lisa about having our wedding celebration at the Waterloo they couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The whole day was perfect and nothing was too much trouble for the team. I would highly recommend this place for food, staying and events.

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere and the food is an absolute winner.

Excellent Christmas meal at the Waterloo, third Christmas that we have been and its always been delicious with excellent service. Myself and my husband are vegan and they always cater for us with no trouble at all. Highly recommend them for both vegans and omnis �

Deffo worth a visit! Fantastic food !! The staff were very friendly

The only let down was the first time ever I was not driving and wanted a decent drink unfortunately I do like a nice GT but they only had Gordens but that would not stop me from going again

Can't praise the hotel, staff and food enough Bob, Teri, Lisa and Steph (to name a few) went out of their way to make Dan and Emily's big day go with a bang and made it all look so easy.



Rooms were lovely and beds really comfy, food was sooo tasty right from breakfast to evening meal and wedding breakfast and the atmosphere was so warm and friendly from beginning to end and nothing was too much effort.



Thank you all again for a fantastic weekend and we'll be back soon.

Visited this venue this afternoon out of curiosity. An amazing place, loved it & Lisa couldn't do enough for us including a tour! We will be back to try the food & drink soon!
