What an utterly glorious place to camp. We absolutely loved every second of our stay and cannot wait to return again soon. Claire and Carol have created an absolute gem of a site, with everything you need and are the friendliest of hosts. Definitely our new favourite place.

What a little gem of a place! Stayed for 2 nights with my 6 year old in the shepherds hut and it was fantastic. Everything you need for glamping, and the hosts were fab, so friendly and helpful, little touches that made our little break away a lovely treat... bottle of wine for me, bucket and spade for the sand pit and marshmallows to toast! I messaged the first night to say I couldn't find matches to light the fire pit and the next morning they were on the door step! How's that for customer service. Will definitely be back again, great little break to recharge the batteries x x

We've just returned from a beautiful one night stay at the withies. Plenty of room for our camper van and tent, loads of room for our kids to let off steam and tire themselves out. Immaculately clean, beautiful area, what's not to love? I shall return for longer next time!

We spent the weekend in the ‘glamping’ pre-erected bell tent 2 adults & 2 children aged 4 & 3 & we had such a great time. First time camping for kids & couldn’t have been a better introduction, they loved it! Sand pit & Den building were fab & totally family (& doggy) friendly campsite...lovely walk to Much Wenlock though meadow & down bridleway, hosts Carol & Claire really accommodating. Camping the way it should be x

We really enjoyed our couple of nights there. It's an immaculate campsite with a very relaxed atmosphere. We loved having a campfire and also a little wooden bench to sit on, as we were backpacking we had no seats with us and it was so nice not to always have to sit on the ground. There were lots of toys for children, including a sand pit and den making area. The shower was hot and very clean as were the toilets and the washing up area. Claire and carol are lovely and checked on everyone daily. You could buy logs and kindling from them at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be staying again. We loved everything about it. It's only a short walk into town and right on Wenlock Edge for great walking. Thank you for a lovely stay Sam and Lizzie x

We love it! So peaceful. So calm. So natural. The shepards hut has been so well equipt for our glamping experience which has made it so enjoyable and relaxing. I want to live here! Sand pit. Imaculate loos. Free herbs. Den building area. The lovely Claire and Carol have thought about everything! A real traditional English holiday Camping. I will always cherish this time i have spent with my son on our first camp. Thanks so much!

User

We had a wonderful evening there last night. My school buddies had organised a surprise retirement party for my husband and I. The site was beautifully kept and very eco friendly. Loads of space, even for us noisy lot in the corner! Thanks so much for letting us have the gathering at your campsite. Definitely one we will be visiting again.

User

We came with an 11 year old and a 3 year old and they absolutely loved it. The porta loos are ridiculously clean and tidy, the shower is a great experience. And Claire and Carol are more than helpful and welcoming :) it's what camping is all about and we will definitely be coming back.

User

Myself, my young family and our friends stayed here over the august bank holiday, it was our first time camping with our children and we all had a great time. My little one got poorly and cried a lot during the night (I expected complaints but there were none) everyone was friendly, the site had loads of room to play games in, the shower was hot with plenty of room, the toilets were always clean and they even got a paddling pool out when it was too hot for the kids, huge marshmallows went down well with the kids to roast on the fire, Claire and Carol are both wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better first camping trip (apart from not having a poorly little one of course) we can't wait to go again. Thank you ladies for a fantastic time

User

Lovely friendly owners Carol and Claire. I enjoyed my time there and found all the facilities so clean. Nothing was too much trouble and all the other campers were a real friendly lot which was very pleasant for me being an aged lone camper. Beautiful area and I would love to come again.

User

Lovely campsite with very gracious hosts... Can not compliment them enough. We spent four nights there with spectacular views across the valley from the campsite on the 3rd night we ran out of kindling and Carol had none left so when walking her dogs she collected some for us!!! We will be returning. Thanks for a fab holiday :-D

User

Just spent an amazing week at this site for our group's annual camp. Wonderful welcoming hosts, basic but extremely well maintained facilities (some of the cleanest I've used over many years of camping) and all set in the most amazing countryside. It's the extra little touches, like a sand pit and den making area for the children, that make this such a great site. Perfectly situated for touring Ironbridge and the surrounding area. Certainly on the list for a return visit :)

User

Just had a one night stay here. Lovely site. Quiet and relaxed, not too many rules. Just a short walk into Much Wenlock, lots of nice, dog friendly pubs! We will definitely be back. Thank you.

User

Great site, clean friendly and reasonable. You can have a wood fire and its only £5 for the wood etc. Lovely off road walk to the town which is an ancient and completely unspoilt place. Site does not have hook ups and facilities are basic but spotless and perfectly adequate. Not full of rules and regulations like some places Highly reccomend

User

Great campsite myself, my Mum, 7yr old son and 2 dogs visited mid week. Was very peaceful and safe. My son loved the freedom, sand pit and play tractor and was never bored even though only child on site. Toilets very clean. Shower was just right. Nice welcome board, help yourself to herbs. Fire pit and wood supplied for £5 from the lovely owners who are very helpful. Lovely walks around for dogs. 10min walk to town. Only downfall was busy road but some music in the day you dont notice. Will deff be visiting again. Thanks again.
