really great place, karaoke is great on a Thursday night, I don't know what the negative reviews are for I found it really friendly place to be very welcoming

Wow what to say about the yard! An amazing and well organised place. The staff and glitter queens there are both kind and helpful. We were fundraising last night for a charity Niayah's fund set up in memory of my niece and the help given was amazing. Really went above and beyond to help. Plus the atmosphere was amazing. I can't wait to come back ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

Went out not knowing what the night was going to be like. The atmosphere was amazing ’┐Į door staff and bar staff were like lovely’┐Į’┐Į and the bar is beautiful highly recommended, and will definitely be back with the crew!!!

Went on Saturday 9th June for Coventry Pride and it was my first time at The Yard IŌĆÖve got to say they did an amazing job the acts were amazing along with the staging and lasers I had a much better night there than I did at Birmingham Pride a couple of weeks earlier. Thanks everyone at The Yard you all worked really hard to put on a fantastic night I will defiantly be coming back.

We've been in there several times now and it's so much more refreshing than Rainbows. I've been to several LBGTQ venues throughout the country, and The Yard is definitely in my top 5 venues of the country

We love the yard, weather for an afternoon coffee or a night out, the food is lovely, the staff are amazing and always a brilliant atmosphere, can't wait for the summer, well done to you all xx

The staff at the Yard are friendly and extremely helpful .

Jupiter and Minerva are amazing .

Disable access is a bit of an issue in regards to the entrance and you need a degree of mobility to go upstairs for the acts or to dance but is worth it in the long run if you can manage the stairs .

Sensational business, family feel, incredible managers and staff, daytimes and evenings a great atmosphere :)

Nipped in for breakfast and it was amazing !!! The coffee was perfect, the breakfast sandwiches were to die for and the staff were very helpful from the moment we walked in. Will definitely be returning !!

Just popped in for the first time to check it out! I got a bit of drama from a guy who asked for a photo, put me in a headlock and shouted wanker and immediately two drag queens and the bouncer saved me from anything escalating! Very friendly, fun music and unique people! Loves it, IŌĆÖll be back! ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

ItŌĆÖs one of the best bar/clubs in Coventry, security is good so you know you are safe and itŌĆÖs a fabulous place where everyone can be themselves absolutely love it ’┐Į’┐Į

I visited for the first time on Friday evening with friends to be greeted by a warm and friendly security staff . Your outside seating area is well staffed , clean and well maintained in addition the bar staff were mint , clean glasses , ice !! and very attentive and as for your hostess Miss Rockella , fabulous camp !!

Keep up the good work folk's and I will most definatley be back ’┐Į

Finally made it to a Saturday night at the yard last weekend, and it's my new favourite spot to boogie in Coventry!

Great atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks, will be back very soon

Visited for Pride weekend and the place was rammed! Good vibes throughout though and the addition to have the outdoor stage is great, bar waiting times are long but that comes with the place being busy

Visited here today and can only give two stars for the following reasons.

The glassware was covered in lipstick.

The bar staff would serve people who just joined the bar or would be too busy chatting at the end of the bar to care.

When a bar staff was challenged he said I am on my own. Even when another staff member was behind him an apology would have been better. My partner then left the que and the other staff said he was rude.

Havent given it lower as the place had a great vibe and potential.

Visited this venue for the first time today with my bf and five friends. Unfortunately We found the bar staff very rude, more interested in catching up with their mates than serving customers. This was a shared view between the entire group. Every glass I was eventually served was covered in lipstick. I feel that as one of Coventrys few gay venues they expect people to return with their tails between their legs. Fortunately for me I am not from Coventry and I will certainly not be returning. The management should be taking a good look at the high class and high end service you can expect from some of BirminghamŌĆÖs gay venues

Visited the venue for the first time last night with my boyfriend and friends celebrating coventry pride. I was waving my hand at the bar to get the staffs attention & the manager approached us to our disgust told us to get out & called the bouncer over without no explanation!!! Even the bouncer apologised for his disgusting behaviour. Totally belittled & embarrassed. Poorly managed establishment.

It is a nice looking venue however I was pinched on the bum by a member of staff and the venues response was we'd have a word with him, then continuously they joked and laughed between each other the rest of my time at The Yard not dealing with the fact a customer had been sexually assaulted in the venue I felt extremely uncomfortable and seriously unheard with regards to what is a crime performed by a member of their staff on a customer
