Tiddington Players

A local amateur dramatic society for the community, open to anyone aged 8-80!

Tiddington Players, formerly Tiddington Comedy Collective, started out in 2008 as a joint venture between the NFU and the local community as an opportunity for local residents to tread the boards and have a bit of fun.

Our first pantomime, Cinderella, took place in February 2009 and was a resounding success. The following year we staged Humpty Dumpty, followed by Dick Whittington in 2011, Sleeping Beauty in 2012 and Aladdin in 2013.

Over the last 4 years we have been lucky to attract new members and can now boast a membership ranging from 8 years and up, covering all levels of ability. Our prime concern is to provide something fun and enjoyable for members of the community to take part in or come along and support and have found it to have helped the local youth by giving them somewhere to go and something to get involved with. In addition, our adult membership has no upper age limit and we have grandparents who have taken part in, and been valuable assets to, our shows.

New members are always given a warm welcome and our philosophy is most definitely the more, the merrier!
