The wait is almost over! Our new menu lands tomorrow and we can't wait to show you... who's excited?!

We came as a family on 10th of June, and couldn't fault a thing. Amazing food, brilliant atmosphere, and friendly and attentive staff.

We arrived at 1.15pm on Tuesday. We were showed to our table immediately and offered drinks which were bought to the table. We both had a Carvery and weren’t disappointed. We have a bit of all the meats on offer and all were tender. Wide variety of veg including roast potatoes onions and parsnips. Lovely mashed potatoes and very light and fluffy Yorkshire puds. The waitress was very attentive without being overbearing. On the whole a very enjoyable experience!!

Thank you Toby carvery for letting us put up a banner and balloons for our friends 50th birthday he was so shock and emotional and brekkie was lovely has always xx

Lovely staff, was nothing but helpful and friendly. Meat was abit thinly sliced but was really nice meal overall.

I went there with my family and we all enjoyed it the food was great the only disappointing part is where they now only do diet pop in the refill machine but overall it is worth the money x

I love this place every time i need a carvery, i go here! Staff are polite too, i have a good old laugh in their, the food is filling, if u need to change something, they always help, its a very busy place, so cant be that bad � me and my mrs love it �

Had a lovely meal and drinks Not been in TC for quite some time and I must say we had a great time with excellent service

Food etc couldn’t fault after being re fitted only concern as always toilets haven’t been addressed ladies were dirty men’s were really wet these issues have not been touched we’ve been here quite a few times past 6 months and each time these keep popping up but overall a pleasant evening out.

Enjoyed a yummy carvery lunch with tasty well cooked meats and fantastic selection of well cooked veg dishes and sauces while catching up with a friend...empty plates from us both...and lovely friendly helpful staff...thank you...we will be back soon xx

Came on the one off with our 2 young children. Waited a good 15mins in the que for my dinner and they could see me and my partner had to take it in turns because of the children. They took my partner to the front so we could eat our meals as a family and also brought drinks to the table. The service and food was fantastic couldn't fault them at all. Will be returning soon �

Came here for a carvery today, the staff were lovely and very helpful, the food was fresh and packed full of flavour! I highly recommend this Toby Carvery!! ��� excellent!!

Thank goodness it wasn't heaving in there, pleasantly busy but no long queues. Lovely selection of vegetables, plenty of meat. Waitress was great, sorry you had to keep coming back to get the dessert order....my friends talk alot ���..

Went for Breakfast on Sunday Morning with my family. Really enjoyed it. The whole place has been decorated since we were last there, all lovely and clean.Staff very friendly, an the breakfast was really yummy. Plenty of choice. I would definitely go back again.

I have visited here regularly for many years and I always think the good is great (especially some of the puddings)! The staff are always friendly and accommodating but I have to say the place is way over due a make over. The tables and carpets are sticky and the toilets are disgusting...... the smell of damp is un bearable and the cobwebs behind the doors are horrid. This really let's the place down.

Considering its half term it was quite empty so why we had to wait to be seated was a mystery? I asked for a window seat and was given one, The waitress/bar staff lady was very nice, Food was very nice alot of choice left very happy will be returning

Didn't go for the xmas as not much choice for starters so we had the normal menu which had tasters to choose from and they were lovely! Then had carvery which was nice, lovely staff and nice food

Confusing place should be better sign posted as to directions on sitting and ordering a bit expensive as airports go but good service and friendly staff

A little disappointing, roast potatoes dry and hard, carrots mushy and other veg not very nice. The waitress though was lovely and attentive.

Went there on Sunday at 4pm with some family. To be honest it's in need of a refurbishment but to be fair you get what you pay for . I use the one in Quinton much better service & standards . Typical M&b over working the staff & the staff are doing there best . Charge more give 8ozs of meat & increese staff numbers & price .I did an up grade for £1.50 & got the same amount of beef . It's clear that the chef is more concerned about portion size . Nice friendly staff trying to do a good job . Give them a fair chance m&b .

Went for my moms birthday, for me the turkey and yorkie was the best part, the gammon was half fat and everything else just seemed bland. No flavour in potatoes, roasties hard and no taste, vegetables undercooked and the gravy was like water, Didn't enjoy it 9.95 per person, had much better elsewhere. Booked a table it was late had to stand around was very uncomfortable and packed. We sat down waiting for someone to tell us when we could go get our carvery the waitress came over after getting up to see what what happening, she came over and asked if we were ready for the bill, we said we haven't even started yet we had been waiting for our table. I wouldn't go again waste of money wasn't enjoyable meal or atmosphere.

Today was disappointing. At 1pm only tail end of Turkey and gammon on offer and three versions of potato and not much else unless you consider a bowl of undercooked cabbage acceptable. The gravy pot was almost empty and no apple sauce. Not up to usual standard, need to do much better.

To be fair our booked table was their when we came in, so that was a plus, staff were friendly another plus,, to be fair to dudley I thought in whole the meal was great, apart from the carrots which were a bit half cooked, the meat was nice and so was the rest,, mash was banging,, gravy good, bit of a downside on the Mustard it was like water,, so out of ten I give a 9,, decor needs revamping as all odd furniture everywhere, soiled carpets & seating(not good) as folk have to sit on these,, but overall as it's a fast turn around carvery venue it's OK, & will probably return as it's only 5 mins from home..

Service was slow had to wait to b showed to table .then had to ask to change as my table had a wobble and I was worried about drinks being spilt . Then went to carvery waited 5 min 's for Chief to serve us .say they had 4 meats .I asked for turkey and had the 3 thinest slices I've ever seen ..won't b going bak in a hurry.

Restaurant looks like it could do with a clean.

Gravy stained walls and menus and dried spud in the walls is very appealing while waiting for your food.

Custard was like tap water with no flavour, very stingy on the crumble

Table service very slow.

Cookhouse Birmingham new roads is 100% better value, better service and better food

Food was good value for the price. Service was good - staff were courteous and prompt. The only reason it didn’t get 3⭐️ Is due to the parking arrangement. Regardless of there being an 80% rebate on the parking fee it is unacceptable to pay for parking at an establishment like this. It was sheer luck that I had change for the machine as the card reader didn’t seem to be working. Not even Rick Stein would ask for a parking fee at one of his restaurants. Sort it out please!

First visit to Dudley today, fancied a treat, have to say i was deeply disappointed, the Sausage was the best part of the meal, the bacon was so under cooked it was practically still oinking! The lady before me asked if they had some well done bacon, to which the chef replied "none as good as that"! Urm... not the way to answer a customer! Yes i fully understand its a buffet but when someone requires something the least you can do is offer to cook it for them! The mushrooms were bland and the tomatoes were luke warm, all in all not the best and we wont be returning, its a shame, its easy to get complacent when doing buffet options but standards should always be maintained, i hope this can be rectified

First visit there and my last waiting to get food had to ask if anyone was serving twice only a couple of ppl in so was quite meat was good but everything else was just abt warm plates were cold wot can I say Waste of Money

Yet some reason i must had dog crap in my eyes �.... Place looked and was a utter scrap yard......

Seen dirty plates before, but not every table in sight and all outside as well.



So as i was 1 person wanting 1 simple carvery

I asked the stuck up � on the front desk looking like she was the don of don of all jobs �. Amazing....

Drinks area was a mess, tables hadn't been cleared, tables dirty, cutlery not very clean.

Breakfast was unpleasant, bacon salty, fatty and under cooked, greasy sausages and eggs. Baked beans swimming in juice, anaemic toast

Cold in the restaurant.

Don't even think I'll take anything home for my dog

Went for breakfast today almost every plate was filthy the man serving came with some other plates and just slammed them down still unclean food was very poor and full of grease wont be going for breakfast here again

We had reserved a table, turned up and been seated strait away, then over 15 minutes later we'd been left and still not offered a drink. 4 other tables around us had been seated offered drinks and got food and we were still sitting there. Ended in us making a complaint, getting our parking refunded and leaving hungry. Terrible service.

Toby Carvery THE WORST breakfast we have ever had. Total waste of £25! Plastic in the food. Dirty unwashed plates, pieces of plastic in the food, rude staff, ran out of several items of food.

Absolutely disgusting! Told we would get a full refund and then was given £10 less!!! Never ever again! Kids were so disappointed with their Breakfast with Santa �

They only good thing was the food the service was slow even tho it was empty we never got a free drink with the app which it said on google we would they didn’t tell us till we paid the bill then wouldn’t honour the deal the one of the staff members attitude was disgusting you can’t talk to customers like that and now there is parking meters fitted on car park they said the cameras was turned off but you can’t charge people to park when you paying to eat ! I won’t be going back there ! It won’t be open much longer if they treating people like that

The tables need to cleaned more throughly between customers being seated , also cutlery was dirty

The area where the gravy is placed along with the sauces was in a disgusting state needs to be cleaned on a more regular basis someone needs to put in charge of it . There were spillages all over the counter top .

I Have to agree with the general consensus that paying for king seems to get you less meat. The veg was ok but the gravy was lumpy old and aweful and the carver was chatting to a staff member and not doing his job properly. my partner had to wait around 5 mins for the carver to come out and he only did so when the waitress shouted at him. I asked for a coke and got given an empty glass which to be fair is a joke when I'm halfway through a meal as it came so late. All the meats looked very dry and as usual the beef was 70% fat 30% actual meat. I have watched this place slide so far down hill it's unreal.

Felt like we were being watched as we ate. Waitresses didn’t smile.

Told that our son would have to pay for an adult meal even though he’s 11 years old and on the menu it said children up to 12 years are allowed a children’s lunch.

Have been to their Toby carveries and they were better.

Came here with my partner and my daughter for the breakfast . What can I say the bacon could have still been trotting about on my plate and the sausages was so pale they must have been flash fried . Eggs was like a cool egg shaped bouncy ball which could have done damage if thrown,mushrooms well they was like hard damp tasting piece of rubber every thing lacked flavour . Deffo would not recommend

Booked Toby for Xmas Lunch paid deposit in Aug 2017 my son in Law got really poorly in coma for 2 weeks fighting for his life phone rest of payment was due explained what was going on asked for payment to be delayed a little longer till we knew about my son in laws and his recovery all they were interested in was filling the table phoned on 2 occasions not once did I get any customer care disgusted with them so cancelled thank got my son in law fine now would never go again think they need customer training �� VERY POOR
