Meet Savannah, who you might have seen on BBC Children in Need recently talking about her experience with our autism sleep clinic! #TTAdvent
Savannah has autism, septo optic dysplasia spectrum and no vision in her right eye. Her sleep was very erratic and she would often wake up in the night, which impacted her Dad, a HGV driver, who suffered through sleep deprivation. 😴
Her family came along to our autism sleep clinic. Our lovely team created Savannah a personalised sleep p...lan and tailor-made resources for her and the family. 🛏💤
Thanks to this support, Savannah's sleep patterns have drastically improved. She performs better in school, has more energy at the right times and is able to think more and focus on tasks. 🙋

"I've enjoyed every minute of being a foster carer." 💕 Meet Beverley*, one of our lovely foster carers. #TTAdvent
Beverley worked in social care and had been thinking about becoming a foster carer for a long time. So when she retired, she decided to take the plunge and apply! 🙋
... Our not for profit fostering service was recommended to her by a friend from school who provides respite fostering placements, she said it was a great place to foster. 🙌
This year, she went to Chester on our fostering holiday with 12 year old Casey*, her first placement. Casey enjoyed every minute of the trip! 🐘
“She really enjoyed the zoo - getting up close to the animals was a first for her. We’re trying to do all of the things she wants to do but hasn’t had the chance to. It was great for her to mix with other children too.” 🐧

I went to Bethesda School on the school's hill site from 1975 to 1982. We had a great time at Bethesda and all of the staff were wonderful, helped me to increase my intelligence and to gain confidence, so thanks everyone
