We were staying at the Premier Inn next door and all four of us enjoyed a great full English breakfast in pleasant surroundings with free wifi as well. The food was great and lots of it and served by a friendly waitress.

User

We were on our way home, a little late and hungry. The waitress was polite and showed us to our table very quickly after arriving. The restaurant was clean and very modern. The food was served very quickly. Sadly the waitress dropped our lads food on the way from the kitchen to the table however, this was dealt with quickly and efficiently and a new hot dish of food was presented very quickly again. The service was excellent throughout, there was a good choice of food. A little pricey when you could stop at the KFC half a mile away but all in all a great place to stop.

User

Warm welcome, shown to our table straightaway by a very friendly, polite, efficient waitress. Took our drinks order while we were choosing our menu. The food was excellent and my steak was cook perfectly. I had taken my daughters' here for lunch to celebrate their birthday. On hearing this our waitress Rachel came back with an ice cream marshmallow pudding for each of my daughters and even sang happy birthday. An excellent lunch made all the more special by our waitress.

User

Not been for awhile, but with a table of 11 adults and 2 kids. They handled us with ease. Everthing was bought out, no one waiting for anything. Food was excellent. A slight mix up on the available menu but a discount was added to the bill as excellent surprise. Look forwatd to using you again soon. Shout out to Marie our main waitress.

User

Just stopped off here with 3 children en route to a party. Rarely leave reviews but felt the service and food was 5 star. Staff so helpful and friendly and we were amazed how fast all the food came. Children's starters and drinks in less than 10 mins and mains to follow very fast - highly recommend

User

I had an email sent for a free birthday meal, there was a table of 6 of us the food was lovely and puddings so tasty. The girl who was looking after us made sure we was ok and happy she was brilliant. We was all happy with our meal and such good food for the price. I mentioned to my fiancé today that we would come back over and have some more food.

User

Great service and great food best rump steak I have had in ages and the chips were tremendous

User

Excellent food and service. We have stopped here twice on our way home from a holiday in Pembroke.

User

Although we couldn't get into the restaurant as we hadn't book the bar was perfect and even more comfortable than the restaurant chairs!! Was completely full with a starter and main meal no room for dessert! The mixed grill for hubby and a ribs for me was lovely!

See you again soon x

User

the room we were in was excellent, people very friendly, all staff, pluse the room lovely and warm, and the bed omg, nice and high and so comfy didnt want to get out, would we do it again YOU BET.Thank you so much.

User

Steak as usual perfectly cooked. However even though we asked for our complimentary salad bowls they did not arrive and we couldn’t see anything on the new spring menu about having to ask for complimentary salads so wrongly assumed they were no longer available.

User

Expensive but nice food.

User

We have visited here about every five or six weeks for over a year. The service is ultra slow but the food has been reasonably good. On our last visit, I had the battered haddock & chips and requested mushy peas. What I got was what looked like tinned peas, strained and lightly chopped in a processor and then warmed. Isn’t it easier to say “We’ve run out of mushy peas!”? I don’t like being conned. Also, there was no lemon (We’ve run out of it) Last couple of times, no tartare sauce - “run out!”

As someone else says, there are other places to eat in the area and that’s what we will do in future. Blame yourselves!!

User

Needs inspecting and Beefeater have a responsibility to the staff and customers. Well overdue a thorough clean and facelift!

User

Have enjoyed meals at beefeater in the past, but not impressed on this visit. New menu not good, not cooked well

Staff were pleasant.

User

Very unfortunate trip here. We don't eat out much due to money but decided to treat the little one.

Cold food on arrival.....lettuce that looked a week old. Very bad experience which is made worse by the fact it was a treat not a regular occurrence. Very let down

User

Stopped here for breakfast, having been recommended by 2 guys in Ross on Wye town centre this morning. They said the breakfast would be fantastic. Well I don’t know who cooks their breakfast, but me and 3 mates were not impressed at all. Fried eggs like rubber frisbees and cold bubble and squeak. I won’t be calling in next time I pass.

User

Sharing Platter came out just after we had ordered it & we should have sent it back but we were hungry after a long journey. It had obviously been standing around & reheated the bits of ciabatta were hard the mushrooms were cremated need I say more! The Surf & Turf we ordered came with Luke warm Macdonald style fries 1/2 tomato 1/2 mushroom rump steak & three prawns! None of it very hot & all for over £18 left most of it! The waitress’s excuse was ‘well it’s busy’ Sorry but that is not acceptable. We paid up & probably won’t return. The staff st the Premir Inn offered us a free breakfast voucher but declined as didn’t want to chance it. We have stayed there many times over the past 20 years & this was a shocker as always had good food & it’s always busy! The prices seem to be a lot higher now as well. Sorry but won’t be going back.

User

Came here for tea the other day. Ordered steak it was disgusting and salty I couldn’t eat. My parter has gammon which was just fatty and horrible. When I tried to find someone to speak to you were all ‘too busy’. In the end we just walked out. We will not be returning. Food and customer service is terrible.

User
