This includes timetable amendments, developments, booking reminders and a range of workout tips for fitness enthusiasts to help you get motivated, challenge yourself and achieve your health and fitness goals.

Tudor Grange Leisure Centre

The Solihull Contract is a £14 million capital Public /Private Partnership (PPP) project comprising of new build construction of the Tudor Grange flagship Leisure Centre for Solihull MBC and a major refurbishment of the North Solihull facility.

The Tudor Grange Leisure Centre includes wet side facilities with a 25m eight-lane competition pool with extensive spectator viewing and a teaching pool with associated changing facilities. Dry side facilities include a 150 station state-of-the-art fitness suite, a separate health suite and treatment room, four-court sports hall, three court indoor tennis centre, athletics track (Grade 1), artificial training pitch, meeting room, staff rest rooms, crèche and a cafe /bar.

The following facilities are currently available at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre.
• 25 metre, 8 lane competition pool
• Learner pool with a multi purpose diving pool with moveable floor
• Health suite; steam, sauna, spa
• Dance studio
• Village changing
• Dry changing
• 4 court Sports hall
• Crèche
• 3 Indoor plexicusion tennis courts
• Floodlit, all-weather international standard athletic track and field event facilities
• Floodlit, full size 3g artificial pitch
• 150 Station fitness suite
• Café and catering services (Franchised to Podiem Café)
• Function room

There are still spaces available to book on our new Tennis for Kids courses which are starting this week.
Wednesday 4-5 pm - Players aged 4-7 years old Thursday 4-5 pm - Players aged 8-11 years old Saturday 9-10 am - Players aged 4-7 years old... Saturday 11-12 noon - Players aged 8-11 years old
These coaching sessions are for children who have not played before. Once booked you will be sent a Free Racket, Set of Balls and personalised t-shirt to use at the lesssons.

One of our own members of staff dan who is our personal trainer here is taking part again in this years Birmingham half marathon for the St.Mary’s hospice Birmingham charity.
This is Dans 3rd consecutive participation in the Birmingham event, as last year he completed the full 26.2 mile course in 2017 and 2016 took part in the half marathon for the very first time.
... The charity again is aimed at supporting a close friend and his family to help raise awareness and support to other families. The hospice looks after loved ones terminally ill with cancer, without the hard work of the nurses and generosity of the public, the charity wouldn’t exist.

I like going to the gym and the manager Paige is very nice and some of reception staff but the gym management are not very helpful and when you need help they are never day, I would like to thank Paige and Tom for helping get back to gym. Thank you it is now a regular.

When using the pool for a 7.30 pm class the floors in the changing room are always very dirty and the showers are not clean. I am not sure how frequently these areas are cleaned as the day progresses. I have given up on trying to book some classes as they are always full. There also needs to be more staff in the gym to provide assistance.

Since the new management took over there are some things that need attention,the Spa has been without a towel rail for months,so there is nowhere to hang the towels.It has been pointed out several times,its a small but needed repair.

For some reason when making a booking for the aquafit there is now no waiting list facility,so one has to phone and enquire for any cancellations however it's impossible to get through to reception and when I tried I was left hanging on the line with irritating music.On Sunday I could not get through at all but today I eventually got through after waiting all morning,the reception staff said they would report the problem to IT,but did not know why there is no longer a waiting list for aqua fit.
