Haha. Yes, you can also annoy an editor this way. But a good editor will quietly correct what you've written without changing the tone or meaning, and you'll never know about the irritation.
That's just what we do.

I know sometimes it can be difficult to think about getting an editor; giving someone else free rein over your creation that you've worked so hard to finish can make you cringe. I understand that. But having a second pair of eyes, objective eyes, will only help make your work better and stronger.
My goal as your editor is to make your words shine, so you can captivate your readers with your voice. Let's work together.

Be sure to use Spell Check before you print the final copy. But don't rely on it to catch every mistake. Spell Check is a useful, but not a fool proof, tool. Nothing beats careful proofreading.

Knowledge is power. Read in order to write powerfully.
