Raymond 'The Real Deal' Daniels one of the Worlds greatest ever Kickboxer's competes tonight in a MMA contest against England's Wilker 'The Black Panther' Barros on the Bellator European Fight Series event at Birmingham's Resorts World Arena. We had the privilege to see Raymond train this week in his final preparations at the USKA Fight Factory and he looked in absolute peak condition as he tapered off his training camp ready for the big fight. There is a saying that Luck is for the unprepared so we all at USKA Fight Factory instead would just like to wish him all the best in what we have no doubt be a spectacular performance. Make sure you tune in to the Main card that will air live on free-to-air Channel 5 at 10 p.m. Time for the G.O.A.T to do his thing and live up to his human highlight reel moniker... Let's go Champ!

With Ramadan fast approaching there is no better time to announce a charity gym project in conjunction with ISRA - UK that we will endeavour to repeat annually. ISRA-UK is a charity organisation based in Birmingham that has been operational for over 30 years. Their mission is the relief of poverty worldwide with the aim to instil change, hope and prosperity to the lives of many around the world. The project we have decided to get involved in will be water aid to provide a spr...ing well in Uganda costing just ┬Ż950.. This project will be carried out in a community that has little or no clean water supply. These water solutions provide life-saving access to water for drinking, crop irrigation and market gardening. We have now got a collection bucket at the USKA Fight Factory gym for cash contributions and will be looking at topping up our total with a charity fundraising event later on in the year. Please give generously to this great cause and help us reach our target and to help to save lives.

Had the pleasure of watching one of the greatest kickboxer's who has ever lived Raymond Daniels train tonight at the USKA Fight Factory in final preparations for his Bellator MMA fight this weekend in Birmingham. Humbled to have him and his team pay us a visit and blown away watching the GOAT in action. Super nice team as well, big respect... Osu!

He also excelled in his technical ability earning himself a straight A pass mark in his USKA Black Belt grading examination in 2013 meaning he will be a great asset to the USKA Fight Factory helping each and every student to achieve their goals with his vast experience of over 20 years involved in the sport. It was a scorching hot Easter Sunday but we still had a stacked USKA Fight Factory team of 20 fighters turn out for the latest Aero-Kick BLCC event at the Community Aero-Kick gym in Highgate, Birmingham in a total of 22 fights. The team looked after by coaches Neil Kelly and Sean Quinn consisted of Abdullah Riaz, Julia Glowacz, Kaifah Imran, Nikita Raubiska, Ehsaan Mahmood, Idris Yusuf, Eesa Hassanjee, Aadam Ali, Ibrahim Khan, Aeysha Yusuf, Aamina Safraz, Myesha Imran, Hammaa...d Shand, Rohan Kumar, Haleemah Yusuf, Ayriwana Miah, Mohammed Isa Khan, Qasim Hasan, Sami Kelly and Abdul Yusaf. The USKA crew performed well with many of our fighters showing growth in different areas of their game mixing it with good competition and only conceding one decision over the course of the day. The BLCC standard of fighting has gone through the roof over the last couple of years and really highlight what a great circuit it is for young fighters to develop their skill and learn their trade. Well done to each and every one of our fighters who was in action and to all the USKA supporters that turn up to cheer our fighters on.

With the USKA Ninjas classes being some of the busiest sessions at the USKA Fight Factory at the moment it was no surprise that even with it being the Easter Holiday weekend the latest Ninja's grading would be the biggest yet with 30 grading candidates attempting their belt assessments. For that extra little bit of pressure the Ninja's would be put through their paces in front of lots of their family and friends as well as being under scrutiny of Ninja's coaches Neil Kelly an...d Sean Quinn. The Ninja's were pushed to their limits with their relay circuits, basic shadow boxing line work technique, pad work and finally their exercise circuit with each and every one of them performing excellently and knowing that they had all really worked hard to earn their new coloured kickboxing belt. With most of the Ninja's grading today being within the ages of 4-6 years old it is truly remarkable to see the standards being reached by these young kickboxers both physically and mentally showing maturity beyond their years. We would like to say a big well done to 7 year old Dean Fahd on completing his USKA Ninja's syllabus by passing his Blue Belt and becoming only the 6th child to do so in the USKA Ninja's history. A big thank you to all the parents of all the children on the grading today for their continued support and also to all the helpers who took the time to make themselves available to coach, mentor and hold pads for our USKA Ninja's throughout their Grading Examination.
The full list of the successful graders are as follows...

On Saturday evening USKA Professional fighter Lee 'The Wizard' Whitfield climbed through the ropes in a return to professional kickboxing after a 10 year hiatus at the TMA Fight Series Return of the Champions event at the Walsall town hall. Lee who runs the very successful Bai Lang kickboxing gym in Telford and fights out of the USKA Fight Factory in Birmingham is a former Professional English Champion and still has aspirations of winning International title honours in the fu...ture but would first need to get through tough Latvian Champion Vikto Gricjus over 5 x 2 minute rounds to move forward to that goal.. Lee looked fantastic showing no signs of ring rust demonstrating silky skills over the 5 rounds systematically picking apart the tough Latvian to win all 5 rounds on the judges score cards to claim a Unanimous points decision win to the delight of his 100 + crowd of supporters. Big congratulations to Lee on this victory showing everyone that there is indeed more to come from Wizard in the future.

Travelled 110 miles round trip 2/3 times week for almost 4 years and will be back to do it again. Sometimes you have to go the extra mile ...to be the best you have to train with THE BEST.

User

Trained at USKA with Neil and absolutely loved every minute of it. Not only did I get fit but I learned discipline and strength and confidence and gained a family. Neil is a dedicated trainer and coach and loves to do what he does and itŌĆÖs shows. Miss being in the family.

User

The coaches Neil and Sean will bring the best out of anybody who wants to train. Whether u want to fight or just grade the knowledge and skills these two coaches have is exceptional. They will teach you not only how but why. Learn the logic behind what you do as well as how so you can become an all round skilled and intelligent fighter. They have an outstanding reputation that is truly deserved. They work hard and truly care about their students and fighters. If u train here you are not just on a conveyor belt. You will be given the attention and time to develop to the best of ur ability and will be encouraged to develop your own flare in your style of fighting. Put the time and effort in and they will return it tenfold.

A gym, a family, a home. This gym produces champions and skilled fighters and martial artists. Come see for yourself. You wont be disappointed.

User

The best place you will ever find to learn the art of Kickboxing. Neil Kelly is the man, his teaching methods are perfect, the fighters are exceptional and the silverware speaks for itself. Where Champions are made!

User

The best place to train. No BS you get what you put in and Neil uses traditional as well as modern methods to get you in shape. If you want to be a fighter this is the place to be. If you want to get fit this is the place to be. If you need to be motivated to look after yourself in a non judgemental environment then this is the place to be. Thanks Neil.

User

The best gym in Birmingham and the best I've ever trained at .... The instructor is the best in Birmingham ....my kids train here and they love it ....you learn disapline / courage / respect....it keeps you fit and healthy. I would not train any where else

User

The absolute best in the business. A 200 mile round trip for me everytime i train here but worth every second as the quality of instruction is second to none!

User

Only been at this gym for a couple of months now, but been training for a few years, I can honestly say that this has probably been the best couple of months training in the 3 years I've been doing kickboxing! You won't find anywhere better than the USKA Fight Factory! Neil Kelly is THE man! Great instructor, great coach! Sean Quinn is an unbelievable coach! You won't regret joining the USKA Family!!

User

Neil Kelly is one of the most dedicated coaches this country has ,and just happens to be a really nice guy to .wealth of knowledge to be gained from him and his team .

User

My son had been training at another ( good ) club for around 15 months when for traveling reasons we decided to look for somewhere closer. Its the best move he could have possibly made this place is amazing ! The hard working ethos of Neil Kelly and his team was initially a shock to his system but daily training alongside the many multiple champions has helped him start to improve . If you truly want to learn Kickboxing at the highest level and are not afraid of hard work USKA is the place to be. I have never seen anyone with as much enthusiasm and passion as Neil Kelly brings to EVERY lesson .

User

My son 'RELENTLESS' REISS LARVIN trained and fought under the USKA banner and watchful eye of Neil Kelly for a number of years.During this time I travelled the country with the USKA family as we used to call it back then and I come across many clubs many trainers with only a couple who impressed me.I feel blessed I chose USKA for my son from the get go.I never had to bounce from club to club looking for anything better the best was all their at USKA. Now for the part where I tell people reading this how it is...If you or your child is serious about your training or fighting put in a 100% into it and Neil and Shaun will put in 120% with you...if you think you are dropping of your kids to a babysitters then you better take them to that 26th dan whose never thrown a punch and couldn't care less instructor up the road...PEACE.

User

My 3 girl's go there and think it is great, my 1 girl was being bullied but since going has now stud up to the bully and is now left alone. A big thank you to Neil Kelly and Sean Quinn.

User

Ive been training here for over 15 years and have loved every moment of it! A fantastic instruction and coaching team in Neil and Sean and a great club atmosphere where all ages, genders, races, religions and abilities are welcomed. A wonderful place to train!!

User

It's a great club with very structured learning and would recommend to anyone. With one of the best instructors in Birmingham.

User

I trained when U.S.K.A. was at Chic Physique in Formans Road from 1997 until 2003. I got to Brown Belt under the excellent training from Neil Kelly and his team (Alan McDonald and Phil Richards) I made some great friends got fit and got to a Brown Belt......great times great instructor.

User

I trained at a few clubs before I trained at USKA. Clubs before would drill into you perfect technique yet would neglect your personal style. Neil and Sean at USKA however make YOU the best fighter YOU can be. Can not praise them both enough! Been a long time off the mat and I can not wait to get back!

User

I take my little one here and in my eyes by far the best club around. The club combines fun, while learning martial arts and he can not wait to go back each week. My little one is getting more and more confident by the week which helps with school and in social situations. Friendly and professional, Neil and Sean are top of their game. Thanks USKA!!!!
