the Bulgarian Village Kitchen is in the centre of Birmingham. The Owner and Staff are Bulgarian. They serve traditional Bulgarian food & drinks. It is extremely reasonably priced. The food is great.

With great food and a heart-warming atmosphere, I am more than satisfied every time I visit.

Went there last night and was totally bowled over by the food, service and the general ambience of the place. Can’t recommend it enough. I wish I was eating there tonight! �

We were at this lovely restaurant with our Austrailian friends and we found it absolutely delightful! The food was very delicious, and the portions were bigger than expected for the price. The staff is welcoming, caring, and friendly and it was very similar to restaurant service in Bulgaria! This will be one of our regular places to eat for sure! Highly recommended!

We found this place accidentally. Great place, food was delicious. Ieiyana was our waitress and she was very kindly. Definitely we will come back!

We celebrated my husband's birthday at the Bulgarian Village kitchen and we had a great time. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. We will definitely come again.

The Bulgarian Village Kitchen is fantastic. Lunch, dinner or even for a beer (I love the Zagorka Retro) with some light bites. Great service and a warm homely feel.

Reminded us of our holidays in Bulgaria food and staff are excellent will certainly be coming back

Chicken hearts were lovely, gorgeous salad with some really tasty dips. Traditional clay pot dishes and some amazing desserts. Not to mention the plum liqueur. Totally lethal but tasty

I'd been there before by myself and loved it! Went last Thursday with my English boyfriend to show him my homeland food&culture. We got a satch plate for 2 but it didn't look like the picture - it consisted almost entirely out of meat and hardly any vegetables. It was still very delicious as well as everything else we ordered. We went quite late and were the only customers so perhaps they wanted to close the kitchen soon. Next time we'll go earlier & on a weekend night to experience the buzz and party atmosphere. As a Bulgarian I love it but I want to provide an impressive experience for my fellow non-Bulgarians as well. We'll be sure to come back again.
